Yeah i think thats the best thing to do Dana is get a letter wrote up from your G.P. I sure will get one wrote up from my G.P when i next visit, just to be on the safe side!

I'm not sure on the answer to your question, i'll probably end up having to go through the same process as yourself, but hope that what Dana has said is all we will need to do. I'm sure other VJ members will be able to help us regarding the question. Fingers crossed.

Hi,

Let me explain what my concern is.

I have been taking TEGRETOL ( carmabazepine) for the past year, to cure mood swings.
I am obviously not a danger to anyone, but can the physician at the medical exam think so?
Does that count as severe psychological troubles?
Could I fail the medical exam because of that?
Could I be denied the visa because of that?
What shoud I do??

I am totally freaking out so if anyone knows something, please help...

Thanks a lot!

I'm unsure of the answer to this, but keeping everything crossed that it doesn't cause a problem. At the moment, i've been prescribed Mirtazapine since the parting of myself and Pete......The whole situation of being apart so long had really lowered my mood, so the doctor prescribed me this. Surely they should understand that people at times need a little help regarding lifting their mood due to circumstances not within their control?!?!?!

I must admit though, i'm wanting to come off my medication as i feel that over the last 10 months it hasn't really done anything for me at all.

Hope someone has a better idea regarding your question.........Fingers crossed as i say!!!

Good Luck
