(I guess i better adress this one to: Hi girls!) besides all the annoyance bc of the delays and backlogs and everything, i tried on my wedding dress again last night. and what should i say..... it looks different. to be more precise: i look like a porn-queen. i blame it on the bridal-engagement-hormones that i bought it. i spent about an hour crying and will see the alteration-lady tonite, to see if anything can be done about it. Eric is getting ready to come to germany in 2 weeks, and he will work and live there until jan.10th. i really hope that SOMEHOW we will get an approval by dec. 10, that the NVC backlog is gone by then, and that we somehow, mysterically have the visa by the end of january. now i only need the good witch to fulfill my 3 wishes: 1) Dress can be fixed 2) Visa by the end of january 3) happily ever after. but as far as my luck goes, we will end up with an RFE or some BS. but, most definately, we should plan a get-together in the US next year! we could meet in Vegas for example! it would be SOOOO much fun to meet everybody! i would be happy to plan and arrange that. lots of love for everybody!!!!! agnes @aly ( ) well, the very first thing i realized about this whole process is to ignore all the stupid and dumb comments you get. I dont think calling them is helping the case, but lately there have been a lot of people who got approved without knowing.... We just gave it a try... Well, if I were you I would call... just to find out whats going on... you and me are waiting well over 5 months now.... they should understand why you call. Well, I am hoping that we are approved but I believe it when I see it... @all thanks so much for the support. First of all MERRY CHRISTMAS to everybody here especially to those who recently got approved.... and a big CONGRATS to all of them what a nice christmas present I still havent heart anything about my case, i get pretty sad at times now, at least i went to the US to be able to celebrate christmas together with my fiancee. I am getting so sick of this waiting game. I took this job when I got back from Minnesota in August, thinking it would be alright to do for 6 months but by now I am really sick of it and I finally want to start my life with Nick. It is so difficult as you all now to plan for the future if you don't know when your future together will start. Well, I have to think positive. I am currently working in a High Class Work Out place. Well, that's at least the label they are striving for. At least I can work out for free to loose some weight after the holidays. To bad there is the chocolate laying right next to the computer when I check the USCIS website Are you guys planning on working in the USA right away until you get married. I heard that you are allowed to to this until you are married. On the other hand, I am wondering who would hire you for just a couple months? Then Nick (my finance) came to visit and stayed for three months. That was wonderful. He got to meet my family more in depth (not always a good thing ) and understands better where I am coming from. Anyway, I thought I share with you how he was welcomed back in his own country. He flew out of Amsterdam as he was flying stand-bye with NWA. He flew directly from Amsterdam to Minneapolis, where he lives. Well, the woman at the first stop (is that the IRS the one that determines if you are allowed into the country?) questioned him W: why he was in Europe for three months. If he was planning on finding a wife and bringing her in the country. He said he was visiting his finance. W: She told him that he shouldn't think that he can just bring his finance in the country like that. If I would come to visit, they wouldn't even let me enter. He told her that we already filed for the finance visa and that we are not planning on doing it any other way. W: Did you take any illegal drugs while you were in the Netherlands? He told her no W: What did you do there for three months every day? (I don't know if she was hinting at Terrorism but none of the stereotypes would describe him) He said that he was traveling, helping my mom, getting to know my family and traditions. Well, after minutes passed, she let him pass but put a big letter on his customs form to have all this suitcases searched. That really surprised me. I thought only foreigners were questioned that bad. I didn't think the US would do that to their own citizens. Anyway, I hope all of us are getting a nicest welcome when we finally arrive! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	ATTENTION JULY FILERS!	i just called uscis and got a lady on the phone who told me that i was approved but cause i´m not the petitioner she couldn´t give me any further information..she told me that i´ll have my fiance to call them to get more infos... so he called and got on the phone with somebody else than i was and he or she told him that it is still pending / transferred...
