For Montreal you must show that you have started the cycle of Gardisil shots. For AOS, you need to show you have continued the schedule of shots. This means that I had my first shot in February for my medical in March... I am moving to the US in late June and marrying early August, so for AOS I will need to show I have completed the cycle, as that will be 6 months. I have no objections to the shot itself, I do have objections with forcing people who are already going through a very expensive immigration process to pay $500-$700 to do the shots. I have medical coverage through my fathers work (that I am still under) and through school, and neither of them would pay a dime for the vaccination. Its a very strange and unwarranted requirement, even if the shots itself are worth getting. Frankfurt requires to have the first shot in germany. so I do have to start the cycle before I leave, too. Side effects such as a severe rash in face, total numbness in legs, fainting and flu like symptoms, and a total of 800 cases in germany just left me wondering if the vaccine is save. I believe that many people have had no side effects and have avoided cancer, which is great. And maybe my doctor will convince me of the vaccine and I won't feel like I am forced to do something I don't want to do. Just don't like this whole requirement thing. Not only do I think negatively about the vaccine (for people who have had sex) but I also think it is so mean to use people who are desperate to become permanent residents and more. I've heard so many people say we have no choice, but to get the shot. next thing we know we all have to color our hair the same color...just kidding...but I bet a lot of people would go far for permanent residency. Plus as far as I am informed correctly if one has had sexual activity the chances that the HPV still has an effect is slim. Just doesn't make much sense to me. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	HPV immunization under review	I am currently waiting for our noa2. When I read about the required immunizations, I got very upset. I had just seen a documentary about hpv that wasn't very promising and showed cases with severe side effects. I tried to find out if there is a waiver to avoid the hpv vaccine. Instead of finding a waiver I came across an article from May 7th, 2009. It seems like there is hope that there may be an end to the requirement. But when I visited the next time I handed in both! It could look kind of strange but when you think about it I didn´t do anything wrong. I never overstayed! So maybe there is something funny with all of our cases and that´s why it takes longer. My nightmare is that we´ll never get approved. I counted 19 active people on visajourney who filed in August 2009 or earlier and who say they are in security checks or probably are in them because they waited since such a long time. 4 of those are extreme. Meaning they have waited since over a year. 6 are from July. 2 are from June. 2 are from May. 1 is from May. 4 are from August. (I´m a dork. I know) But still it is kind of difficult to estimate because there are some inactive people probably still waiting. There are probably also people who gave up in between. Also I don´t know whether security checks take place before or after a RFE. Because 3 of those cases from above had an RFE. I became very interested into the topic. I sold all my stuff and live with my parents. What is ok for some time but definetly not an option for much longer. I hate to say it: My life sucks. We are having an engagement party in Germany on march 7th. I don´t know what to celebrate right now. Just hoping I´ll be in a good mood then. At least my guy will be with me then. From a psychological point of view it is normal that you feel discouraged and depressed. You probably have the feeling that it is never going to end. Of course you are questioning your relationship. When you feel worn out yourself you will also have no strength to have passion for your relationship right now. Of course it is important to always make sure that this is really what you want. But I think you also have to be aware of your current negative attitude. I hope that things (job, appartment...) for you will work out at some point and that you can make a decision then. If you end a relationship at a hopeless point of time you will probably feel bad about it once things are better. At the same time I am aware that you can face difficulties in this visa process that are very hard to surmount. I wish you and your fiance a lot strength. Feel hugged from me! Our approval notice was dated Februar 27th and we got the hard copy March 7th. We still haven´t heard anything. Does the petitioner get a letter again? I really hope we are not in security checks again? Or do you get stuck in security checks every time when you got stuck in them once? - I hope not! Hey everybody since i am new to VJ i would be grateful for some help, because i am sitting here right now trying to fill out all the papers for the I-129 Package. My boyfriend got engaged two days ago after 7 years of a long distance relationship. I am so excited So we filled out all the forms. - Is it ok if i just use the forms that are on here as example for the cover letter and the Fiance Letter of Intent? - We only need to send proof of the last two years right? - Do we put it in a large envelope and just send it off, do not bend? The date on the NOA2 is September 4th. I would like to call NVC, but i dont know if there is any information on the NOA2 that i need for it. We got the packet 3 a week ago and filled everything out. We want to send it off now and i just want to make sure that i got everything. -DS230 Part 1&2 -DS156 -DS156K -DS157 -checklist None of the forms have to be signed right? I also got the DS157 form of the page and it says it expires tomorrow. Does anyone have one that expires later than that?Does it matter? I am also not sure about the forms that need to be send cause the 156K says to send birth certificate etc. Do i send it with it or bring it with me to the interview. Do i send the checklist, even though we havent gotten everything together for the affadavit of support? I know i am asking a lot of questions, but we are kind of behind since we had a death in the family and that through us off. I would really appreciate your help. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
