If it helps you, you could let us know what you put in your petiton as proof of relationship and I am sure we will reassure you that you did the right thing. I put in our petition: passport stamps of joint visit to croatia, his boarding pass of this trip invitation to the wedding in Croatia copy of my visa to the US (for example I could have copied my ticket to Kansas City from 2007 and for some reason I didn't think of that.... ore maybe I didn't have it anymore....see now I am all confused) application we both signed for a dog, which he now has Christmas cards addressed to us email between me and his cousin before our feb vacation to florida, I mentioned my guy in the email group pictures of our florida trip 2008,2009 (his whole family has made this trip a tradition and I have been there all three occasions) three more pics, one of us with a little Jayhawk on my cheek. I am hoping for a KU fan among the USCIS people, the picture was taken during the parade of the Jayhawks after their National Championship in 2008....Rock Chalk Jayhawk! and I think that was about it. Of the two years they want to see proof for I was mostly in the US. You would think I had a lot of evidence but when you can see each other you don't have to write emails or talk on the phone or travel to see each other. Also I have been to the US about ten time and every time except twice I landed in Kansas City. Not sure that helps to prove anything. I t really weired though that our whole relationship I had to proof that I will leave the US every time I entered and now I have to sort of prove the opposite. That's life. when a lot of approvals came, I thought, what if everybody gets approved and mine takes forever. Then I threw this thought away, cause there's no reason to make my life more complicated than it already is. I hope I could help you emmaline_g. Btw my soon to be sister in law asked me if I want to run a 1/2 marathon with her. At least I got something I can work on while waiting and a date I can look foreward to. It is October 17th. (Besides your approval ) My guy (and 500 other employees) lost his job last december. started a knew one first of May. He and 150 other employees got scammed (?) and never got payed. He even lost $600 do to expenses. He had an interview last Friday, but hadn't heard anything yet. Really sucks. Obviously he hasn't been alwas in the best mood lately, which doesn't make it easier do be away from him. Plus this waiting for our approval doesnt' help. I got a phonecall at 2 in the morning and my fiance told me he found it in his mailbox. There weren´t any updates on the uscis website and there wasn´t any email. Very typical for USCIS. The funny thing is that we could have already known when we had our engagement party in Germany on March 7th. Oh well, I am just so happy. I´ve been reading this thread since Decemeber and I will keep reading it. I hope that at some point even Sara will make it out of here and it will stop existing. It makes me very happy to see that. My So has been here in Germany with me for the last 3 weeks. We`ve had our engagement party/German wedding here on Saturday. Our parents also met this way and it was wonderful. Now we are just hoping to get our NOA2 soon. But those last approval really made us hope! This is a great thread! They could have also just said "still within processing time". This is actually what I expected and that´s why I am so disappointed. Because this means that the 6 months processing time aren´t a reason anymore for the congressman to expedite. After 3 months from now our congressman can do an inquiry angain. Couple yrs back, dentist said i might have mouth cancer so i needed a referral to an oral surgeon and get a biopsy. I was terrified of course. the dentist was to send me the referral. Long story short, after many phone calls to the dentist asking about my referral, being scared, and having them say, "i'm so sorry! Its on the way!" or "we just mailed it!" after a month or two i went down there to the dentist's and I watched them pull my referral out of old dusty files, it hadn't even been filled out! they had lied to me every time i called. So i had to sit there and watch her fill it out and hand it to me. Ok, that being said, thats what I think of when I think of this process. I picture our files sitting there and them just lying to us because they can't be bothered. oh and i was ok in the end, no cancer or anything like that. Might be a good comparison! That´s what sucks about the whole process: we don´t know anything that´s going on. Maybe somebody works on it constantly, maybe our files are rotting somewhere. We don´t know. It´s aweful! About the touches: we didn´t have a singel touch. And we are officially in security checks! Maybe we should open a thread just for security checks and find out how long it usually takes for people. Another thing I wonder about is wheter files from California and Vermont are in the same checks or if they are being worked on separately??? And what do they actually do? -I have never convicted any crime in my life. There really isn´t anything they can find out about. Yay The medical took really long, was there for over 2 hours and got late to the embassy but nobody seemed to care about that. I got a number, went through security and into the big waiting hall. I sat down for maybe 2 min before i was called. Went to two more windows and was in and out of the embassy within 35 min. I had gathered so many things as a proof of relationship and they didnt want to see anything. Fine with me. So good luck to everybody else. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May filers	@Tarantula. You can go ahead and fill out the forms. I only got a letter from Frankfurt giving me my new case number. You actually dont get the papers anymore, you have to get them online. At least that is what i had to do. I had to go to usembassy.de and then to Immigrant Visas, then to K1 and on the bottom it says what to do when you got approved. There you find the documents. His brother told us, that we had something in the mail, saying our time window is September 3 - January ?. Does it say something like that in the NOA 2 or does that mean we got an RFE?
