It has been a hard week and we all need some good news soon!! ~ Tina I hear you too, Tina. And yes, we all need good news very soon. I hear ya Tina!!! hope we all get some good news soon, it's been 8 months now since I last saw my girl and if I'm lucky only 3 or 4 more to go but it's been long enough for us all I'm sure. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2011 Filers	Thanks! It seems like most people get a "touch" a few days after their NOA1 date, so I don't think it means anything special. Maybe they moved your file from one box to another, who knows... There are no stupid questions, and I think we're all very nervous and excited about this process. Thanks for answer. And I guess you are right. I was just wondering. I was looking obsessively at USCIS's webpage that I have now limited it to once a week so I wont go crazy... I did sign up for case updates so if something happens I should know right away. I know exactly what you mean. I am still doing it and I have to limit is as well. They have touched our file at 06/14/2011. That is probably not a good sign that we will be approved soon, or am I wrong with my assumption? Sorry guys for this probably stupid question. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Taking a break from Igor's list of XXXX	Hey guys, I am so happy to have found a forum like this. cuz I know, people here will understand me. for the last couple of weeks I got really crazy about Igor's list. I checked it several times a day. but now, seeing VSC at its best again, I think I have to take a break. This is just so dissaponting. I mean, ever morning I chek this damn list. Hoping, praying. After so many disappointing days u start to think "well, it can't be helped. If this is how it goes...". But then, VSC has some really good days and u think " wait a minute, this looks good! maybe it won't take that long after all" You get all excited, hope is coming back, and then.. BANG! A punsh right into ur face! Only 5,4 or 3 approved! and the great final... NONE or just ONE! I am frustrated and sad. I miss my fiance so much. I hate that I am at the mercy of incompetence! This is not the first time I got a visa. Due to my job I have been here and there in the past. And I have NEVER been confronted with something like this before! Never! Not even in Japan (which is famous for it's strict rules on visa). All these coasts, this inconvenience, separation, unfriendly service which gives u WRONG information! I know it's not the VSC's officers fault. They just do their job. And I don't think it is an easy one. Having people calling all day long and complain. I guess you are ranked higher so they might trust your word more? or we just got unlucky with the officer. anyways. the CO will provide us with a letter on Monday. then we will play the old game again. waiting. I am not sure if they have been trough the application already and just want the letter to say OK or if they simply checked for the letter in the first place. but I am kinda disappointed. would it have been so hard to tell us about the expedite earlier? or tell us about the CO letter earlier? or to tell us earlier that we could have done all these in Japan via the embassy before we moved back to our home counties? Remeber, in my case it took 19 days from the time I requested the expedite until the day I received the expedite approval letter. It was a nail biter, but the next day, I also received my NOA2 notification. It was fast and well worth it. I hope it works out for you too. I wish you good luck. I still have not hear anything regarding my expedite. I am starting to think that means bad news. I wish you the best of luck with yours. I am not sure if you can talk to a supervisor. please let me know when u get ur noa2. first I wasn't so happy about my fiance being in the military(I was so scared that he has to go to Afghanistan at some point!), but so far the Air Force was only from big help for us. In every single possible way. where is ur finace at? army, marines, navy or air force? I pray for your noa2... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	March 2009 K1 Filer	Hey, everyone! I wanted to let you guys know what has happened since I sent in my AOS. They sent me NOA1, cashed the check. So I was hoping everything was ok. Today unfortunately I get an RFE in the mail. The weired thing is that it is for an incomplete medical exam (I-693). well, according to the instructions for the I-485 say, that if you are a k1/k2 and you had the medical within the last year only the vaccination document is required. So after a little research on visa journey it seems to be the case that a lot of k1 have recieved this rfe. Nobody really knows why, but people are assuming that uscis lost e lot of medicals. So for those who still have their medical ahead of them, maybe try to get two copies possibly with origional signatures, if that is even possible. I will probably end up getting a new medical. and why not since all us immigrants are loaded with money, while not being able to work....they really are doing whatever they want with us. Feel bad having made it to the US compared to you guys and having to tell you the rediculousness will continue. I am glad to hear though that you guys are getting medicals and interviews set up. I have been in the US since Sept 17th and we got married on Oct. 23rd. Now I am very close to sending in the papers for the AOS which seems a lot easier than the I-129F, if it wasn't for those affidavits of support. Since my husband is still unemployed it is recommended that I get a joint sponser. Which now that Joint sponsor has to send in proof of citizenship. It is my mother in law deperately trying to find her birth certificate. Again, you can't start soon enough with filling out and filing papers!! I have been waiting for my visa in the mail. Called the embassy endless times and wrote them an email that I have a flight on thursday. Today I get a call that my visa is ready, but won't make it to me in time for my flight if they send it out in the mail tomorrow. So I am going on a litle 6 hour road trip each way to pick up my visa. Was depressed in the beginning but noticed really quickly I should be more than happy to be able to get my visa in time for my flight.
