K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Better to cancel the petition and wait until after the deployment	Don’t wait on the USCIS please write a letter of expedition from the petitioners commander explaining in detail (who, what, when, where, and how) and fax/mail it to the service center where your petition is being processed. Can it be denied? Yes! Mine was and now I am going to my congressional and senatorial offices that represent my jurisdiction. Don’t take no for answer! As it was told to me many expeditions are being denied now but you have to pursue your own issues and make USCIS fully understand your position and unique situation. After reviewing some posts on here and USCIS website I know where my request falls short… not enough details. It is just sometimes there are things my command cannot put in writing in a memorandum that is ultimately available to any employee at USCIS. So all details you can provide will help in your situation. If you need more specific details that I don’t feel comfortable with posting on a public forum feel free to contact me via PM. My fiance will be deployed by End 2006/Beginning 2007 due of his job in the military. Since looking on the schedule and how crazy things are going on with USCIS would it be better to cancel the petition to wait until he is back from the deployment. I' am afraid that the approval won't be done before he will leave and I do not know what to do when the status of our petition changed during his deployment? The one we filed did not have the IMBRA questions and we are still waiting for at least the IMBRA RFE. One told me that we can try to expedite our case. Is there any form we have to file or how will this work? If we do not apply for expedite..what if our case is processing and he is deployed? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Is it allow to visit my fiance in the States during the whole process?	Does anybody know if it is allowed to visit the fiance in the States during the processing of the paperwork? I am from Germany which means that I do not apply for a visa if I am going to stay less then 90 days. Actually I am planning on staying there for 2 weeks. But I heard that it is possible that the immigration will not let you enter the states and what might cause problems later on at the interview. Does anybody experienced that the immigration was refused due to the paperwork? Or do I have to take something (bank statement, letter from my work etc.) that shows that I do not have any intents to stay in the states? I am really confused. Go to "My Assistant" and click on Edit/Add my timeline. That should do it. Hello Abril01. How do I get an estimated approval time exactly. You're also going to see the status of the last updated changed when your case been touched or worked on. Hope this helps. good luck to you Thank you. I guess I am really impatient even though I should be happy that we got our NO2 that fast! But I am just curious, does anybody know the average time from NO2 until NVC receive or embassy in Germany respectevely? What is the average time of waiting after NO2 until call NVC to check if they have received the case? How do we know that the case has been forwarded from CSC? Does the approval of NO2 automatically means the case has been forwarded?? Questions over questions!!!! I added his last name with a hyphon, so it's MylastName-HislastName. All my immigration documents are in my maiden name. My new passport shows my new name. Now I'm wondering if anyone knows what kind of paperwork I have to fill out to let USCIS know that I changed my name- I guess I'd need a new green card also. Anyone? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	G-325a	Hey, sorry if this has been asked before, its probably a stupid question but i wanna be sure so here goes: I lived at the same place all my life, so where it says "Applicant´s last address outside the United States for more than one year" i just put my current addy. My question is, since its my only address i cant fill out the "To Month/Year" boxes. Should i just fill out the "From Month/Year" one and leave the other one blank? Or leave both blank? I am from the Philippines, I came to Germany through command sponsorship because my husband is in the army. Before I came here he already filed a visa petition for me. I got here Nov. 2009. February 2010 we applied for a tourist visa while my case is still pending because we needed to go to the US for awhile and I got approved but the passport never arrived, it got lost in the mail. Neither the consulate nor the Deutsche Post took responsibility, so basically we suck it up and burdened all the expenses on getting a new one plus the dime wasted on applying for the toursit visa. Anyways my case was completed and ready for further processing at the NVC April of 2010 but we are still dealing with my lost passport. Finally got a new one August 2010 so we continued with our visa prpocessing Sept 2010. My case was originally in the Philippines since I was still there while my husband filed the petition and we had it transfered here in Frankfurt. I finally had my interview at the USC frankfurt last February 9, 2011. Everything went smoothly, staff was so nice and friendly, no hassle, it even felt like it wasn't an interview, more of a formality. Then the consular officer said, everything seems to be in there and I should expect my visa and other documents in the 2 weeks. 2 weeks had passed and no visa in the mail. So I contacted the consulate, worried that my documents is lost in the mail again. Tried calling first but didn't get anyone to pick up so I emailed them. Got a reply that says, your case is sent electronically to Washington for further administrative processing and they are still waiting for a reply before they issue my visa. I keep thinking why I am put on AP...all our documents are there, my husband and I have been together for almost 7 yrs, been married for 3 yrs. We have 2 daughters ( 4 yrs old and 6 months old) I been living in a US military base for more than a year now. No criminal records whatsoever. My husband called the the consulate and DOS, both didn't tell him why I was put on AP. I am at a lost here. I don't even know how long I have to wait AGAIN! My husband is living for school to the US in April and we really want to be in the US and meet his family. Any thoughts on this....anyone?
