K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Kind of stupid question ...	Back when my father was born (in India), they didn't keep birth certificates in our village. When he needed one for his visa petition, the village authorities used the default date for all unrecorded birthdays: April 1st. He later found out his birthday is actually in December and we celebrate that each year. Then the best process for you is DCF, you file the petition to USCIS Frankfurt and all the process will take approximative 5-6 months. In the moment you have your immigrant visa in your passport, you have 6 months to move to the States. You are not planning to move in one year do not start the process. All the best for you. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	My Wife is Pregnant, should I wait for filing I-130	1. you are US citizen, your baby will be us citizen too 2. no, she doesn't have to change her passport if it is still valid, the petition will be on her married name but the visa will be with the name on the passport 3. after I-130 is approved it will be forwarded to the US Embassy/Consulate from your wife country and they will inform your wife about the next steps.
