Is it under the main portfolio screen or do I have to click on the wac number into another window? The main login screen show my case number and date submitted etc.



A "touch" you can see under portfolio "last updated". To see changes in your case you have to click on your case no. where you can see the detailed in formation.

Hi Guys, I'm a december filer and I don't know if I want to keep going with the prosses. This is what happend. I found out that my fiance was unfaiful to me. She said that she travel to singapore for a working purpose and I found that she really went there to spend a weekend with a guy. I feel really bad because I was taking things seriously with her. I can't not sleep because of this. There is not doubt that she sleep with this guy. One of my fiancee cousing knows her pass word and she feel bad of what she was doing to me and she told her that she gave her 24hours to tell me the real reasons she went to singapore or she will tell me the true. so my fiance all wasy said that she did not sleep with this guys so what I did write the guy that was with her and singapore and he told me that yes that she spent the weekend with him. That he paid her for the ticket and give her 250dls. Then I thought that her couising should know more about this history and she did sent me a e-mail where she wasn sending him her pass port and tell him that she can not wait to be with him. This really broke my heart. Afther I show her the e-mail with the pass port that she sent to him she admited and told me that she god blind with money that she does not know what she was doing...A few hours ago I talked to her in the camera and she was crying and told me that she will kill herself if I liave her....could anyone tell me what I should do? After this all that is in my mind is that if she love me she should not had done this to me....please help.......should I just stop talking with her? she is being calling me and calling me trying to get my forgiveness



In this case you should consider your whole relationship again since you know in what your fiancee is really interested in.....MONEY!
Sorry that you got hurt so bad but now it is important to keep your mind clear and think about your situation!

My fiance filed the petition last July 2006. I am sorry for not putting our timeline. I will ask him whenever we talk. He's in the military. Yeah i was the one who had the medical exam. His parents have told me that they received a letter from the US Immigration stating that our case was approved and that i had to wait 'till US Embassy in Manila will send me a letter or if i don't get any, i will have to let them know so they will call the Immigrations. (my fiance is in the middle east for a mission and hopefully will get back to the states by summer).

this sounds really really weird. Are you applying for K1??
If your visa is going to approve or not depends on the interview at the US Embassy in Manila, so something cannot be right in case of K1. :unsure:

I'm wondering if they all got denied or something? I dont see any successfull Vietnamese case in here . Am I the only one ? I hope my will not get rejected like others' .

Why so many people were denied in Vietnam ? Are they racist ?

I'm filing an I-129F and worrying that my fiancee there will not pass the interview even everything is legit. The visa approved rate in Vietnam is about 50% or less now .
I heard a friend of mine has a kid there and he still couldn't bring her over here . Is there any quota of people from certain country to enter the US ?



I do not think that they are denied. Most of them post on Asian-Forum. This is only my guess, I cannot tell you for sure

Well,...actually not yet cuz I will still have to go back to the embassy to grab the visa. They said it will take about 2-3 days :D
The interview at the American Embassy in Jakarta was not as hard as I thought.

The Interviewer, a Chinese-American woman, started with easy questions like how we met and when.

Then she asked lots of things about Joel : where he lives, where he was born & when, what he does in the Navy, where is his base located now, how long he's been in the Navy and when will his current enlistment end and if he's planning on re-enlisting, hmm.... what else, oh ya, whether he has brothers/sisters (she went like....man, he's the only child and his parents let him join the NAVY???) , and where his parents live...hmm...., and what would I do while Joel is away (underway). She asked me if I have a plan to study in the States also.

She asked why I chose to study in Japan and uhm... yes, she did ask if I ever tried to visit Joel in the States. I honestly said yes...with a sad tone....I thought she was going to ask more questions about it but instead she went like "ah, okie!" (i guess she's happy enough that i was honest). She also asked me about my trip to Toronto, Canada, whether it was to meet up with Joel or not. I said yes and she just nodded.

Then I dunno what she did but her pen flew off her hand and we both said "OOPS!" :D and she laughed.

After that she just flipped through some e-mails that Joel sent with I-129, and after a few secs she told me that she thought everything was set and that I should be able to get my visa in within 2-3 days. She told me to call first to make sure that the Visa is ready to be picked up, and cheerfully said CONGRATULATIONS! :)

A little tip for those who will have an upcoming interview in Jakarta, do tell the guards that you are coming for the IMMIGRANT VISA interview. Otherwise you will get trapped in the neverending lines of the Non-Immigrant Visa Applicants..... like me.... haha. But I learned pretty fast and I didn't get stuck in any other lines by saying the magic word "IMMIGRANT VISA!!" :D

Any questions about the interview, just ask away.

Just got my NOA2 in mail with approval of 9 Mar 07. The USCIS nevered emailed me and no status change online. So glad to have it. Yeah !

???: So now I wait couple weeks and call NSC for new tracking number or what? What number do I call and which extension, in order to get update and new number??

I appreciate all on this site and hope all get their NOA2 soon.

I joined CB after this happened. I met four ladies who have agreed to at least have a dinner date w/me. So we will see what happens. Two of the ladies are friends, ( met 1 on CB who gave me the # of the other one who was not on CB) They have both agrred that they will not let me die in Manila and said they would pick me up at the airport. The only reason I did this was because I am going back to the PI. It is a great place to visit.
My book of life is filled with many chapters. As one is ended, another begins.

I do not want to lecture you but do you think that this is the right thing to date some other women? Maybe your fiancee is really scared of coming to the States (I mean it is a scary thought of being by "yourself" in an foreign country) and maybe this is maybe why whe came up with this decision. Try to talk to her and find out if this is the case of if there is another man involved.
See it this way...at least she is fair and tell you instead of go thru this and dump you after getting to the US.
In some part I can understand her because I found myself in the situation about being scared to go to the States .....

I ve been in USA with a K1 visa and after i meet my fiance we had pland on getting married there..our problem was that his divorce was not finalised yet, and i wanted to wait...so i did a mistake..i overstayed my visa...with 2 months...i heard that the k1 visas denials are usualy if u overstay a visa or u have some criminal records...will the overstay visa can deny my k1 visa? i overstayed because we wanted to get married and we needed more time. will i be ok? im scared...thank you


How did you get here on a K-1 Visa if your fiance' was not fully divorced and free to marry you? I thought it was requirement before a visa was approved for the beneficiary. Are you sure it was a K-1 Visa you entered the U.S.? :blink:



I was wondering that too but I guess she meant that she overstayed her tourist visa to wait until he was finally divorced. And now she is concerned about the application for the K1. Pls correct me if I am wrong.

do not make it too complicated. Just let her enter the States, get legally married in the States, apply for AOS then go back to Peru for the wedding reception.
This is what we are doing.
Or do it the other way round. Have you wedding reception in Peru, then enter the States on K1 and then get legally married!

so my friend is going thought the same process as me, but his case is a little different, heres why: He is also engaged, but heres how it happened: His relatives in England referred him to a girl there, (their culture is different), he went there , they met, talked or whatever, liked each other, so he proposed for her to her parents, they consulted her, she accepted, so they accepted, and they got engaged. However, they dont have any proof of an ongoing relationship, but he does have the proof of him flying to the UK. Is that enough proof to show that they met or whatever. no phone bills, no emails, not photos of them together


Also, the girl doest have too many ties in the UK: not working, finished school, lives with parents. so if she wanted to visit him, would a return plane ticket, and letters from her family suffice to show her ties to UK?

Why she need the ties in the UK? Are you talking about a tourist Visa? I am a little confused because for filing a K1 she does not need to show her ties as far as I remember.

there is nothing wrong to have the wedding reception in canada and the civilian wedding after entering the US on the K1.
the wedding reception won't make you be legally married.
But I would avoid to use the pictures as evidence because it might confuse the agents and they might give you a hard time.

It is really risky to book anything without being approved because with USCIS you might have a few surprises popping up.
I would not recommend you to do any bookings. Maybe you can book some things after you know NVC sent out the package.
Eventhough it still depend on how long you have to wait for an interview appointment.

They tell you a whole bunch of ####### because they just know their job.
Try to contact USCIS again later and hopefully you can talk to another person that is more reliable.
