We send the moneyorder via Western Union. how can i check it and also i read somewhere people got their case number (WAC) before hearing from the service centre, where do you get it, if possible at all? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	what is the latest news on NOA1 delays?	Hello there, not been on here for a while (new job). We posted our petition on april 25th, and we've heard nothing at all since. it's nearly two months I know there were delays caused by the huge amount of h1bs this year, but has there been any new development? i've done a few searches but can't find anything is anyone else in the same boat as us? We used a money order so we can't get our wac number feels awful not knowing anything. and worse is that this two month delay in sending out the noa1 isn't going to mean the noa2 comes quicker, because they've not even registered our petition - it'll be put on the same set of racks as everyone elses sorry, but this is killing me now. We are actually seriously considering applying for Malia to come to the UK, then trying the reverse process in a few years, when its been sorted out Tom. hi tom i dont know if you already recieved it by now, but i was in the same situation. my SO called them and they gave us the case number. also the guy send a message to CSC to send us the NOA1. definately call them! good luck!	marieke	Female	Netherlands	2007-06-30 10:42:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Still waitng for my NOA1 and NOA2 ....	Hello to Everyone! On May 30, 2007 my I-129F packet was received by USCIS. I was able to obtain the case number from the back of the personal check I had submitted with my paperwork. I have not received a NOA1 in the mail yet. I have registered online with the USCIS website and can electronically see that the current status is "received and pending" , but I have not received any corrispondance by mail and it has been well over 60 days. Is this common? Originally the paper work was sent to the NE center..and I have since learn that it is now at the California Service Center. Has anyone else experienced this? When I've called the service center they keep telling me to check back in 2 weeks. What is the next list of forms that will be asked for? Can anyone tell me what forms are envolved in both the NOA1 and NOA2 process. Thank you for all of your help! WRAAAAAHHRRG!!! so frustrating to work on the petition for so long, send the money and then ... nothing. give us something! anything! but im so happy to see some april filers getting approved, maybe its picked up again. Don't say that - there'll be plenty more you'll probably want to ask before you file, after you file, and all along the way. Don't worry about a bit of, erm, 'discussion' (totally irrelevant to your question) going on on the thread, that happens sometimes... don't let it put you off. VJ is a great place, really, and you (honestly!) will find tons of useful information and support here as you go through this whole process. Really! I wish we could have our choice of service centers where to send the I-129F. Unfortunately, you must send it to the appropriate service center within your jurisdiction. If you go to the USCIS website, you can easily find which service center you need to send your I-129F. Form other posts, and other questions, once the petition is filed... if the fiance tries to enter the country, he or she may be turned away at Customs..and will have to get another flight back at their own expense. It comes up in their computer files that he is applying for a K1 Visa. But i was wondering how they feel about people being together not that long. I mean me and thomas met september last year and till december when he left london, we spend every day together, lived together, travelled together. Since then we talk everyday, email, write. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	stolen passport	well its a dutch one, but i live here. no visas in there. i know to go to the dutch embassy here and all that, but how to get the new info to the USCIS. i guess thomas can call them and maybe mail them a copy. ta for answers! Why would your Dutch passport(aka the beneficiarie's passport) have anything to do w/ USCIS? You've just recently sent off your I-129F petition. Your passport, as the beneficiary, does not become necessary until you go for your interview....so I'm not sure why you want to contact USCIS....unless maybe you sent in pages from your passport showing entry/exit stamps to prove meeting? If so, that will still stand, you cannot mail USCIS 'additional' information unless asked for it. I hope you have a full copy of what you mailed in, even better if you have a full copy of your old passport. Get a new passport through the Dutch embassy in the UK and make sure to keep a copy of all documentation relating to having to replace it due to theft. You can just take your new passport to the interview, and your K-1 visa will be stamped into it...and if questioned, you can show proof of having had to replace it because it was stolen. Good luck! -P I agree. Your Dutch passport has no role in this until you get to the interview. If you have previously provided copies of something from your passport and don't have those copies to show, simply be sure you have a copy of the police report as an explanation. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	stolen passport	hi my passport got stolen today..at work! *&^%^%£$!!! yes, im upset. wel they didnt get much from my bag, just a few pound and my fags. so i guess a night in the pub, BUT my passport was in there. So after i get a new one, who do i contact, im here in the UK so can Thomas call them for me and tell the new number or can i email? Ta! Are you referring to a UK passport? Did it have a visa in it? Start by searching online for the procedure to get a new passport when it has been stolen, in whatever country you are talking about. When my US passport was stolen was I was traveling, I had to go to the US Consulate, pay a fee, get new photos, and then come back a few days later for the new one.
