K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July Filers!!!!	Oh - that is very interesting! Thanks for letting us know. Update all the cases I monitor for july 17th got rfe or approval but us. So, I just called CSC. July 17th filler here. Tier 2 told me "ooh You filled a service request in March 9, so wait 120 days to call us and don't bother call again." Then when I mentionned it was 9 months I was waiting with my kid asking everyday she said "I don't have access to Your file anyway." So in fact applying again looks like a better solution than staying in the black hole forever since now You wait 4 or 5 months max. I think emailing NPR ( national public radio ) if they get enough people maybe they would talk about it would trigger more reaction / pressure from USCIS. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July Filers!!!!	This is just a real drag…and then there are all those approvals of petitions that were filed after ours. I'm really trying to stay positive, but it gets harder every day. What do you guys do to stay positive and take your mind off the petition? It's not like I don't have things to do, but I really have trouble focusing on my work sometimes…just wondering how you guys do it. Weekend are the worst part for me since there's no hope to see a change of status. You should have your noa1 already, usually only takes a week or 2. CSC is processing july 18th. He said that he has seen approvals slowing down - he said that the officers have extra caseload at the moment. 204 days here. After 45 mn of wait I talked to a tier 2 to hear him reading me a speech about being patient, that CSC was swamped right now and just wait. Tried to get an update on our case status and he said he could not and started his speech again. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Calling CSC: How to get a "higher up" on the phone?	Hi Everyone, People commonly referencing requesting to speak with a so-called "Tier 2" person when calling one of the service centers. I would like to call CSC tomorrow and try to see if I am able to do that. For the people that have done exactly this, what has your strategy been in getting a a Tier 2 person on the phone? How long does it take? Can the initial rep deny the request? We're CSC, August 6 NOA1 filer, so today marks 198 days for us. Every time I have called (3-4 times now), we are told conflicting info, so I really want to see if I can get CSC to shed any light on our case. Any info y'all might have would be appreciated. Thanks! I called 3 times. The tier 1 person will do anything to put an e-request for You and get rid of You. So I just told Tier 1 I did that myself from their webpage and asked to get to a tier 2. Takes around 40 mn to get to a Tier 2. Since January when I talk 3 times to a tier 2 I got we are processing july 17th... I will often omit it as english form most of the time don't do well with accents: "Preaux". Then again, this is my name, on an immigration-related form. So what do you think? Should I write it with the accent or without? Merci for your input! i was french went from H1B to Green Card to be US Citizen and i just took all the accents out of my name after H1B.
