Just got my approval today, contacted my senator's office yesterday, she emailed me a privacy form to fill out, sent it out this morning, got a respond back from her within an hr stating that they are currently working on my application and should hear something from them in 30day … BY the end of the day today my application was APROVVED :-) Thank GOD for this Blessing .

The receipt date is used to determine if the processing date has reached you. The recipt date is usually no more than 2 days prior to the Notice of Action date (unless holidays or weekends come into play). In your case your NOA2 date (as shown in your timeline) is July 26. The receipt date should be July 24. Also your time line shows that you sent your petition on July 17th. If so then July 17th cannot be your receipt date.


Yes I messed up month ago when filling my timeline and I'm lazy. Should be friday 13th and received date the 17th :)

I'm july 17th. So since January I've tried 3 service requests. You get nothing from then. It's in the adjudicator room, we are overloaded, please try again in 120 days is what you get.

I just called them. July 17th filler here.

Tier 2 told me "ooh You filled a service request in March 9, so wait 120 days to call us and don't bother call again."

Then when I mentionned it was 9 months I was waiting with my kid asking everyday she said "I don't have access to Your file anyway."

So in fact applying again looks like a better solution than staying in the black hole forever since now You wait 4 or 5 months max. In 4 months all I can expect is calling to hear "Do You want to fill a service request?"

I'm glad you actually had a response rather than a blow off...

Do you think it's because the congressional aide who called them actually gave a ####### about getting a result? Or do you think it's because the congressional liaison was feeling nice that day? I just don't get any of it. We were about 10 days before your case and the response we got was wait 60 days and call back.


I'm unsure. For sure the second answer I got was way more detailled and it took me half a day to get it. Maybe because I used my work email which ends with .gov ...

Well after 233 days of waiting and multiples calls to uscis and talking to my congressman twice I managed to learn that we were going to get an .... RFE !!! :)

Ahahah. 7.5 months for that.

They confirmed that your case appears to be running behind schedule. Fortunately, the Congressional Liaison agreed to pull your file to determine if it can be adjudicated immediately. If your file is complete, and if the Agency does not need any additional evidence in order to reach a decision, you should receive a decision shortly. We will provide you with updated information as soon as it is received."

Nothing since then. Our case was not even touched.

Can't visit fiancée since I raise my son, and since is from Philipinnes she can't get a tourist visa.

I've watched all Start Trek Next Generation and I'm almost done with DS9.

On the bright side I monitor a few case # adound mine and 3 were approved yesterday.

Looking at Igors list, it looks like the NOA2's to NOA1's tops out around 85%. Some of those have not updated their profiles I'm sure. Some may have cancelled their petition. Some may have been denied as well. I assume the number of those are more or less consistent through time, so it would still be a valid comparison.

Looking at CSC, They average about 1880 NOA1's a month, compared to VJ data, which is about 125/month, so that is 6.6% of the USCIS data, again, close to the 7% seen for NOA2's. I did ignore the last few months of VJ data to get the average, as there is the affect of visa filers "discovering VJ" after filing their NOA1.


I beleive California received like 4 times the amount of DACA applications than VT since they are more people in CA applying for it. I'd guess VT manage to digest the 100K of application they got while CSC is just in a middle of it cashing checks and entering applications.

Yes... You need to get one.. very important! They will be looking for that on the interview or else you'll be in AP until you submit your police certificate.. Goodluck!
