K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2, when will you come....	hi. last february 20, 2010 we filed our k1 petition but was denied last may 10, 2010. we are denied because we only submitted the form I-129F. we did not include other required documents such as proof of relationship, g-325, cover letter, etc. we did not research well. this june 18, 2010 we refiled and got our noa1 last june 25, 2010. we now asked for a professional help and completed our form I 129f with all the package needed in assembling it. 2 days ago, we called uscis and asked about our petition because its nearing the 5 months mark estimate which is on nov. 25, 2010, but they told my fiancee that we will wait for another 4 months in the usual 5 months wait because our k1 petition is refiled. hope this is not true...if it is true it means our noa2 wait will be 9 months and we can get it on march 2012... can this be true???...pls help!!!thank you very much and congratulations to those who got their noa2! Hi Bulon, You got your NOA1 in June so it is considered a new petition. The 5 months mark start from your NOA1 date which is June 25, 2010. Please be prepared for a long haul since CSC is behind. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	The NVC October Moral Support/Ranting Thread	I never bought their story of NVC is backlogged because they were getting tons of applications from USCIS.    They were actually assigning case numbers faster (It means they were getting fewer applications) in April, May, June, and July compared to back in Feb and March so their story didn't make sense.  Maybe they didn't need to train anyone for that task since it's fairly straight-forward?     I also checked Saylin's spreadsheet and there were fewer people at the NVC stage in April, May, June, and July compared to Feb and March.  I know it's a small sample of people since not everyone is on VJ.   But... It seems they won the contract in April, so are they now dealing with all the paperwork?   You are correct. And I believe change of contractors handling NVC's workload is what caused our delay from May onward. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - October 2014	Hello, Has anyone received the 60 days message from NVC even though they haven't sent any package to them lately? So NVC scanned my AOS package August 21st and sent me the 60 days message few days later. They Scanned my IV package on September 17th and send me the 60 days message also. I checked my e-mail this morning and found out that they sent me another 60 days message for receiving a package I sent to them September 30th, but the problem is that I never sent them any package on September 30th.   They are rather random with the 60 day emails, so no one can tell... but I also received a 60 day email followed by a false checklist email a day or so after my AOS apckage was reviewed. Holding a good thought for you and for a speedy CC. Stay strong and dont give up faith that things will work out at the end, even after a delay. . I try to type something to console you and there is just Nothing I can say that will make sense in light of what is happening with you, NVC, with all of us and NVC.Praying we are all out of this hell hole very soon. I was at the airport yesterday meeting my in-laws, who came to visit us for a month. We waited for about an hour and I had a chance to people watch. I watched the eyes, and happy faces, and the smiles of people seeing their loved ones, and I couldnt help it but get teary eyed. Told me the same old story of 60days to get my last document reviewed. As we were about to end the conversation, she made jest of me, she laughed, said something I didn't hear and then said CALL BACK SEPTEMBER 30 and then dropped the call, she's really pathetic, I guess she was making fun of me. I know my document will be reviewed today or latest next week. Can't wait to get done with this BS from NVC. **Thats the reason why my hubby hates calling NVC, most times am the one that usually do the calling** Oh sweetheart, I'm sorry you were treated so badly by that operator... Just put a thick skin on every time you call them and stay persistent because you can benefit from staying on top with nvc. Asked her what date they are working on, she said she doesn't have access to that info, told me to call back September 30. SMH for NVC I got the : we don't have a range of dates we are working on, but it takes 60 days bla- bla-bla... Woo hoo!!!!!!!    WOW can you copy and past it here but make sure to remove names and Case numbers etc.  It's easier to see if it's false or not or what needs to be fixed if anything. Ty      WOW what, the DS-230 is no longer used correct?  Would you copy and paste here removing names and case number just for the heck of it.  Who knows my friend there just might be a miracle in the works.     I meant to type ds 260 not ds 230- which of course us not used. NVC rep told me my AOS checklist was reviewed and accepted, and NVC sent a reminder for the next doc that needs to be reviewed. It is a horrible feeling being kept out of the country one has made home. I hope things hurry along for you.    I hope things speed up for you!!!! Since September is the last month of dv lottery, nvc started scheduling alot of k1,&k3 interviews, they makeup a lot of the interviews at the consulate. The consulate also said they would not change appt dates, unless it is life or death.   Well, your post made me sad, since I don't want to be in a DV lottery backlog at the consulate. But if September was the last month for those guys, wouldn't they need to spend few months in NVC processing before an interview is scheduled for them? Now that's some cold....Brrrrrrr......!!   If it makes any of you first-timers feel better. I have already had the green card, have two US citizen kids and hubby of 16 yrs, and I am trapped alone on this side of the border going through it all again too.   Let us keep each other's chins up, drink much wine and enjoy Austin's hard drive full of images relevant to the NVC process!   (I have no warm place in my heart for Nebraska these days... fyi).       Kanuk, I feel for you as one time green card holder having to go through the process again. I am petitioning for my mother, who also had a green card and lived in the States for 5+ years but never got US citizenship. She went back home and stayed busy with house repairs, dental surgeries, etc. and as a result she overstayed her 12 months.  Since she is retired, it was not an issue for us, but it turned out to be a huge issue once she wanted to return to the US. Now she has to go through the process again. In the meantime, she has not been able to see me either get married, or have a baby - her first grandchild. She was refused a tourist visa since she did not meet the intent to immigrate requirement. And since her dental surgeries and house repairs were "within her control" she was not deemed eligible as a returning resident. My husband and I are expecting again and I hope mom will get to see my belly this time around. It has taken us over a year to go through this process and we are still not done with it.         Geez, I left yesterday with 2 pages and now there are 7 pages of soil for me to sift through.  People should just stop posting anything so that I don't have to read anything at all.       **This post was made with the sole intent to convey sarcasm, any other meaning should be strictly ignored. Or, better yet it should be taken seriously and then I'll have to read several pages of posts about it.  hehehehe     LOL! Sifting through dirt that is, and not soil, as you say. Agent told me I won't be getting an October interview (I figured) I know my embassy is one of the busy ones so I know I have another wait for interview date But grandma is almost here !!!????   Hey BIG Congratulations on you! I am IR5 too for my mom and my baby's dear grandma. We can't wait to meet her at POE when that day comes for us. So very happy for your CC! I had lost my orginal Birth certificate, years back. Now I have applied with the issuing authority for a replacement & I got the replacement. On the replacement , they have mentioned in bold letters DUPLICATE . Will that be an issue while submiting to NVC ?   The birth certificate I got for myself said Duplicate, but I had all stamps and signatures, so this did not raise questions. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - September 2014	Well, I feel encouraged to read your post. We haven't heard or seen 20 business days lingo in a while. Perhaps, NVC is speeding up for real!!!!!, Update on my case:  Case received / Case # & IIN assigned:  9/17/2014; DS-261 submitted on 9/18/14   I spoke with Amanda today (very nice lady & helpful too). She said that since my case was barely opened on 9/17, that I have to wait 20 business days from 9/18 for them to send me the welcome email. Also, she said that since I already submitted the DS-261, it will be applied to my account. AOS fee should be unlocked 20 business days from 9/18/14 as well.   That's it, so no more going crazy! lol    I just thought I'd pass along my experience with calling the NVC tonight. I submitted my DS-261 on 9/16 and called tonight to confirm that they had received it. I asked if the 15 day window quoted on the website was a realistic timeframe to expect the DS-261 to be reviewed. She did not respond to that question, but then verified my (agent) and my husband's (beneficiary) email addresses and said that since she had verbally confirmed with me those addresses that she could unlock the IV fee bill and it would be ready in a few days. I also asked her if I should send it in one or two packages and she told me that one package would be fastest at this point.   Might be worth taking a shot at calling for those people waiting for the IV fee bill. Wow! I had the same conversation with a rep back in May and she didn't mention anything about unlocking the IV fee after verbal verification. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - September 2014	How do you know the countdown starts again????   I had a date reset after resubmitting DS 261 about 30 days after I submitted it initially, because I had not received the IV fee by then. That reset the date to another 60 day countdown. Few others on VJ have done the same, so we are trying to help newcomers and urge them not to resubmit DS 261. Lesson learned on my end. Hoping for the best for all of you! Do let us know what happens.       My last scan date is aug 15th too for my AOS checklist, I didn't get the email. It may be an indicator that your AOS has been accepted.    I got that same checklist... However haven't had a chance to call about it... I'm also assuming it's a false checklist.. They received my IV packet on August 7.. The checklist was a reminder for the next docs due to be reviewed. My AOS checklist from 7/22 was reviewed recently and now AOS packet is accepted. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - September 2014	I AM SURE SOMEONE HAS HAD THIS SCENARIO BEFORE, MY WIFE HAS TAKEN VACCINATION SHOTS ALL HER LIFE, BUT UNFORTUNATELY SHE DOES HAVE THE SHOT RECORDS, WHAT DOES SHE NEED TO DO, I KNOW ITS A LONG WAY TO GO BEFORE WE GET TO MEDICAL EXAM, BUT WANTED TO PUT THE QUESTION OUT THERE TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS CAME ACROSS THIS, AND HAS SOUND ADVICE ON HOW TO PROCEED   Will your wife be able to get her records re-issued by the local clinic, general practitioner, hospital? They keep vaccination journals and should be able to issue her shots records. It may take some digging in the journals, but it?s worth to ask your doctor about that. The vaccination question is asking for your vaccination records that you would have had from your birth and up. At the medical exam, the MD will determine if you need additional vaccinations and/or booster shots to bring you up to date and up to US standard. I answered this questions: Yes, because I can provide my vaccination record and/or get the needed shots at the medical. Your answer: " I DID NOT RECIEVE ANY VACCINATION:.. is very ambiguous and  you may have to add an explanation.
