K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresParanoia sets in . . .

Looks fine to me. Boarding passes are always good and the most accepted form. Passport stamps are really good too.

Remember to write below or on the back of the photo the date and location of each of your photos. I just printed color copies on regular paper from my computer and wrote that info below each photo.

Also, I typed up an affedavit from a friend and had him sign it and date it, attesting that he was present when we first met in Mexico and also saw us together on subsequent specific dates and times in the USA for further proof of our meeting in person.

I haven't received an RFE, but if I did, I'd probably go a bit overboard just so I don't hold the process up any longer and leave now doubt in the reviewer's mind.

Hope this helps.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWhy does it take so long to cash a check?
I sent mine to TSC as well back around 11/20, forwarded from Texas to California and they received it on 12/4 in CSC, notice date 12/12. So it took a while. And with Thanksgiving thrown into the mix, that didn't help. So it took me about 3 weeks to even get my NOA1.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresRunning Out of Time
I agree with everyone else, you will have to change it. My fiance is from the UK and we applied for first NOA back at the end of November. We received our first packet from the embassy in London about two weeks ago, and we are 5 months into it. My I-134 and supporting documentation is on it's way, she's scheduling her medical and sending her first round of paperwork back to the embassy. We aren't expecting to get an interview until mid-June! We actually pushed our wedding in Mexico off from late August until the end of the year! I don't want her having trouble getting back into the US with a travel waiver until or AOS comes through.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresVisit USA
My fiance is from the UK and she's been to the US three times since we applied for the K-1. No problems in any of the entries (once through Dallas/Ft. Worth and the other two through Newark) although she was asked more questions in Newark. I think I had a harder time getting into England!

Just make sure you bring things showing that you have to go back - a mortgage statement if you own a home (shows financial commitent), a letter from your employer saying that you are expected back to work at a certain date. My fiance carried these each time but didn't need to show them.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresConsequences
45 days to get your 1st NOA is a long time, so I wouldn't feel bad at all about checking and I wouldn't worry about pissing them off, I'd be more worried that something is wrong. Do you have any proof that they even received your packet? UPS or certified mail delivery receipt? Did they cash your check?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresProof of relationship...please help
If you download the G325a .pdf and open it, you can type into the fields. I believe that I remember it "auto-fills" the other pages since it is duplicate information so you only have to type into one page...try it and see.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures1st post former NSC adjudicator now petitioner
...bump...please PIN THIS!

HUSKER I think you are getting more than you bargained for! But those of us who have chewed our nails to the bone waiting are glad you are here to shed some light.

Now, my question :) Since Texas and Nebraska are no longer servicing I-129F's, it all seems to be going to California, with CSC now handling 3/4 of the work load and taking 2.5 monts minimum. Yet, Vermont has them cranked out in a few days sometimes. Why did TSC and NSC quit processing those apps, and why on Earth did they shovel all the work disproportionately to CSC?

Thanks for your insight.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresGreat K-1 Visa Attorney
Thanks to this website, we breezed through the whole process without one pretty quickly. If you are good at filling out paperwork and following directions, save your money for the impending move and for Adjustment of Status. My brother hired one and I thought it was a total waste of money for something he could have just done himself, considering the time he invested into gathering and laying out the information to the lawyer in the first place. In the easier cases, this website is better than any lawyer. If you have a more complex case where kids are involved, or you were denied, etc...by all means, consult a good attorney.
