K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	fiance completely clueless???	Yep my darling Roshon (USC) has had hardly anything to do with the process - he bought the NOA2 with him when he came to visit and thats it!!! He knows its stressful and its best left to me!!!! I know if I really needed his help he'd do it though (although it would take him ages and would probably end up even more disasterous/stressful!!!) I know i'm good at this kinda stuff and he's just not, but that suits me because I'm bossy and like stuff done my way And as for being grateful for the visa, I think that poster should reconsider their fiance if thats what they think all us foreign fiances want!!! That said the K1&k3 route isn't for you because you've got a job etc in the States and coming back to the UK to wait out a marriage visa is just stupid.........so you could just get married and just adjust status, you came to the US with no intent to marry (student, work visas etc) so I don't see why you would have any problems. A few people on this site (jayjay is one I can think off) went on a tourist visa and got married and I think everything went ok for them! I went to the USCIS office in Fresno before I came home (was on J1 student visa) to ask about our options and the guy just said 'why don't you guys just get married now?'! Just little things you can see progressing to help the passage of time. We're right now counting down the days until we see each other for Christmas. We knew the NOA2 would take five months, it took slightly more than that so we're glad we weren't at VSC, although at the begining everyone wished it was the other way around. But from CSC to NVC was supposed to only take 3 weeks at the most, and most people were getting to the consulate within two weeks. But to have the NVC and USCIS both turn around and say they don't know where it is, and don't even care until it's three months, that's hard to deal with. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Stil not at NVC	We've contacted NVC they say they will speak to USCIS on our behalf We contacted USCIS, they said that never happens, they also said we can't even raise a service request until 90 days after our NOA2 and that they hold no shipping infortmation. So we can't do anything for another 2 months! They did say it could turn up before then, but all we can do for 2 months is wait and hope that it does. NVC weren't interested as until it's recieved it's not their problem and CSC wouldn't raise a service request until it'd be over due for 90 days. It remains the USCIS's problem and they won't raise a service request we were told until it's been unaccounted for for three months. Ours was left laying around at CSC for a month, and it was pressure from our congressman that got it moving. If it's not at NVC its almost certainly because the service center haven't sent it yet That was our experience anyway. I was asked for evidence of finacial support, I gave the the I134 and a bank statement, explaining that her income was a bit short. They asked if the money was mine, and I said yes. And nothing more was said As for making up the difference in savings, its 3x for assets based in America and 5x for those abroad. So for the UK you'd require about $90k, but London are not picky. As long as you have a reasonably big sum. But it's down to them on the day as there's no published amount. The American and myself are starting work on everything we need for the I-129F , and I'm currently filling out the G235A and we've come upon a problem. I live in greater london so clearly the city I live in is London, however I need to state where my Dad lives. He lives in Margate. Margate isn't a city it's a town, so am I supposed to put Margate as thats where he actually lives, or Canterbury, as that's the cloest city? Even a 5 year old could edit them, and the embasy people know this You need solid evidence, boarding passes, photographs, bills and bank statements that show you're travel, and up to date letters of intented.
