Hello Everyone.    I am sorry if this topic have been covered before but i searched with not much information.   I am concern if this will raise any red flag on the DS-260 I am a US citizen and my wife will be coming to the US in about 3 months. I am living in California but my wife will be staying with my parents in Illinois when she comes, will the CO question/concern why we will live in different addresses, does this raise any red flags? i mean everyone's situation is different. The documents i sent were: -Document cover sheet -Photocopy of passport bio page -2 pcs photograph -original birth certificate -original marriage certificate -original police clearance (NBI clearance) Will there be problems when there are no photocopies included?   I didn't include photocopies and my case was completed. just be sure to bring all the original and photocopy to the interview. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	gill8g, on 19 Mar 2014 - 7:14 PM, said:     I am not sure how it applies when you file as MFS, but for the MFJ option, I entered NRA (non-resident alien) for my spouse's SSN.  It was accepted by the IRS.  The electronic versions would not take it.  an error message kept coming up.   The 'APPLIED FOR' option means you have a pending ITIN (W7) application.  I did not have that.  That option may allow you to get a higher tax return.  If there is no actual SSN or pending ITIN for the spouse, the IRS will deduct a percentage from the return.  If you truly have a pending ITIN, then, it sounds like your tax preparer did the right thing to get you the most out of your return.    I am no expert on these things, but had to do the research for my personal return and am just providing what happened in my experience.  You all should definitely contact your tax preparer and find out why they did it, if it is okay and if it is the best option for you.   Hope this helps.       Thank you so much for your respond. I have already submitted them on behalf of the applicant. Should i just ignore this ?   1st page is standard template for checklist. second page is actual bar code cover sheet. Then on the 3rd page it says   INSTRUCTIONS FOR: XXXXX, XXXXXXX ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ______CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________ When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this letter. Thank god I called today and the lady told me the case was completed on 3/11!! My eyes got all watery when she told me that!! It was strange that I received the false checklist on 3/10 and case was completed the next day. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	From what I've seen, and others can chime in.. since it's a specific line item check-list; it's not a false check list.     I have been concerned about this, and I have seen so many others that have got a checklist for this item.    What value did you fill out for the total income? Did you use the 1040 "total income"?    Did you have W-2 income plus other income such as Capital gains/Dividends/interest etc?    The part that concerns me is that 864-ez instruction state that all the income being used to qualify must be Sponsor's W-2 incomes. What happens if you qualify via the W-2 incomes alone but have other incomes such as listed above. Do they expect you to only report the W-2 incomes in that filed? Or do they not want you to use 864-EZ all together.  Hi there, Do you think I will get a check list?
