The only all capital letters should be the last name

3. Is there a required paper size to use when I am to print the form? short or long bond paper is ok?

No, the only thing u need is the G-235A for both of you and both of you need a 2x2 inch passport style photo with a white background

It doesn't have to. My letter intent of marry dated earlier than my fiance and he dated his 2 days before filed the petition. We were fine, got approved in 38 days without any RFE.

I don't understand your statement about the form you can edit. They have I-129F form and all you need is just type all the information that you need to provide or you can use handwritten. Whatever that is okay with you.

We used blue ink since I read here that some people got an RFE because the adjudicator thought it wasn't original. But some others did not have a problem with black ink.

I printed 10 photos using Shutterfly service and sent them to my fiance to put together with other documents before it sent off. We did not put on word documents nor glue those. The US embassy gave back to me after my visa was approved.

Hello everyone!

I am preparing all my documents to file for the petition for fiance.

Questions

1. Should we put the same date on the letter? or hers would be date earlier than mine? I am currently in Manila with her and be flying to California to file for the petition. Should it be close to the date that I will mail the forms?

2. Is there an I-129F form that I can edit or does it have to be handwritten?

3. I know I am supposed to use blank ink for handwritten documents, what about for signatures? I read somewhere to use blue pen.

4. For photos, is it ok to copy like 5 photos in a word document and print it in color or do I have to print all the photos and glue it to a bond paper?

File right away. The fastest petitions approved are like 3 months, but usually are around 5-6 months average (mine was 4 1/2 months). Either way, by that time, as long as you make enough such that you have a job that could support 3 (assuming you don't have anyone else you will be supporting in the US), which would be $24,412/yr minimum, which is like a $13/hr FT job. If you have any kind of education or a little drive there's no reason you couldn't make twice that.

same sex fiance visa

I am a US citizen but I am living in the Philippines with my gf and her daughter. Since it is now possible for me to file for a K1 Visa and K2 for her daughter, I plan to go back to California within the year so I could start with the process.

Questions:

1. How long should I be in a job before I could file for K1 and K2? Can I file right away as long as I am employed?

2. My gf has never been married, and no contact with her daughter's father, what does she need so that she can bring her daughter with her to the US?

3. Her mom and siblings live in the US. She was not part of the petition since she's over 21 at the time her family migrated. Will this be a problem?

I am really excited to move back to the US and start a new life there with my gf and her daughter

What does this mean " Submit two completed and signed Forms G-325A, Biographic Information; one for you and one for your beneficiary. Except for name and signature, you do not have to repeat the information given on your Form I-129F."

Does it mean I only need to put my name and signature on the Form G-325A. I am the petitioner.

I-134 Affidavit of Support and Letter of Intent

1. I just moved back to the US and been working since March. I used to live in Manila and was earning in Philippine Peso. For 2013 I did not meet income requirements. With my job now, I make above the income required. Will this be an issue? They do not allow co-sponsors in the Philippines.

2. Do I put a 0.00 for deposit on savings bank, personal property, stocks and bonds... or do I put N/A? I believe I don't have to provide savings bank info if I meet the income requirements right?

3. For #8 on the Affidavit of Support, Do I put my fiance's name and her daughter? Or does this mean if I have other dependents?

4. Do you have a sample of the second Letter of Intent to Marry letter? The first one was addressed to USCIS... how about the second letter?

I got a RFE asking for my income tax form for the previous year. I had a letter from my employer (and I work in a goverment office) with my salary, length of employment, etc as well as paystubs. I thought that would be enough, but got a RFE about 6 weeks after my filing date requesting just the one previous year's form. I sent my 1040 and W2's. Sent it, and my local office confirmed with me the other day that everything looks ok at this point.

Hey Lara! I have a question... I thought the Affidavit of Support will only be used during the interview of the fiance? Does this mean I have to include AOS when I file for petition?

SSA is the Social Security Administration. If you have you SSN number you are fine and do not need to visit an SSA office. However you likely have to bring the SSN card to the DMV or Driver's license shop to get your Driver's license.

What state are you trying to get a driver's license in?

i live in Fremont, California. I brought my Passport, SS card to DMV and wait almost 3 hours until they call my turn!!! when i turn in my passport and SS card they reject my application and tell me go home print out the I-94 then bring back to DMV so they can process my application and now i can't get A# on the web???

if you really came in on a CR-1 or IR-1 visa,

then

you don't have an I-94. Instead, you got an endorsement stamp that turns the visa into a 1 year temporary green card.

Give up on this 'chasing an I-94', as your basis for entering the country, a CR-1 or IR-1 visa, doesn't peg you for being eligible for an I-94.

Think you need it for a SSN? No la. Just bring the passport into the SSA office, fill out the SS-5, and ask the clerk to perform a SAVE database lookup on you via VISA NAME or A#.

So i think i should wait for the green card then. By the way what's SSA stand for? (i did received my SSN week ago)

I trying to retrieve an I-94 number from the web but on the last line said: Class of Admission: (on the select pop up list) i could not find CR-1 and i tried every words on the pop up list still have error messaged Admission (I-94) Record Number: Not Found. Please help.

I would re-send the evidence as priority mail so you can track it, and include a cover letter explaining that you have sent evidence before but after so much time passing without confirmation of receipt that you decided to re-send.

Have you guys ever sent document by normal mail unregistered ? How long does it take to them to get our mail?

I'm really worry about my mail will be lost. my BF send them since November 7 and it been 2 weeks now. He called them yesterday and they said They haven't receipted our document yet.

Do u think it been too long ? Sent from North CA to South CA for more than 2 weeks.

I'm so worry and didn't know what to do. Should we wait for letter returns to my bf house or should I just go ahead sent them the new one by express mail.

I got REF on 23 October from CSC and I got hard copy on 30 October.
My bf send an evidence back to them on 7 November but my bf send just normal mail , no tracking number , now it been 8 days and CSC hasn't updated anything that should says they receive mine. I'm so worry that I will be lose somewhere : (

So, my question is about Checking status by receive number (that i got from Noa1 letter) now it's at REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE button.
Was your status change when they receive your case ? And how long did it take after you sent them back an evidence ?

I'm really worry that mail will be lose because it's been 8 days and I can't check by tracking number.
