Please, we've all heard about those rumors and tales, and we will achieve nothing if we post them here. They will always remain rumors and tales. Will do us no good broadcasting it here. Let's try to keep the atmosphere clean and friendly. Posting rumors and tales won't help. Anyways, this is just my opinion. PEACE...

good.gif I tend to agree. some people were willing to give honest answers to why they used a dating site. this thread has remained peaceful. to me, the last two questions could just open a can of worms. they seem counterproductive to what I thought was the intent of this thread.

I'm a bit confused..Where to pay?is the visa fee are you talking about? And which comes first, filling out the forms or payments?
Thanks..

Fee is for non immigrant visas. Ex. KI and K3.

Can I fill up the forms even without paying the visa fee? or should i pay first?
Thanks..

yes you can fill out the DS156 online and DS156k without paying the visa application fee. you can fill out the Ds 157 also, but BPI will give you a blank DS-157with payment validated, when you pay the visa application fee. you can fill it in by typing or handwriting.

... There was an internet cafe right across from her dental clinic and that's where she'd go most of the time when we wanted to see and chat with each other. She knows of girls who would spend hours upon hours there talking to several men at once. She even remembers a gay who would dress as a girl and talk to foreign men online. She said he worked at a calling center but quit because he was making more money talking to these guys online. Again, not every Filipina who uses the internet cafe is doing this, but there are many who do so and some who even make it a way of life, much like what bar girls have done.

Even bar girls (i.e GRO, prostitute, et al) are not necessarily scammers since most johns at least get what they pay for! Although once I stayed more that a month at Citidel condotel on Burgos st (red light area) in Makati and every other day I went to the internet cafe across the street there were at least a dozen girls chatting with there foreigner bf. Couldn't help notice the foreigner on web cam on all their screens... Within earshot all I could here was visa this, money that, papers this, Western Union that... blink.gif

I've attended the CFO seminar last week in Manila, and they took two of my pictures with my husband. My question is, how come they took picture from us? Are they going to forward the picture when it's time for our interview to the USEM or they'll just have it as their record? unsure.gif

I've noticed they keep on taking notes while i had my interview, are they going to forward all those notes to the embassy as well?

you can also choose to have the children interview at a later date than your finace, if six months not enough time to go back for children. just remember, the K-2 Visa must be issued witin one year from the date the K-1 was issued.

Do the children have to be there during my fiance's interview? They are 9 and 12 yrs old.
They will be following their mother at a later date, can we apply visas for them the same time as my fiance?

yes, the children do have to be at interview when applying for a visa. at the interview young children usually are not asked many questions. our daughter was asked just one, how old are you? you can have the children apply for visas at same time as their mom. just remember the visa is only valid for six months from issuance date. someone would have to return for them, to bring them to the USA, before their visas expire.

We all acknowledge the fact that we have differences in perceptions, beliefs, principles, culture, etc. That however, does not give us the freedom to go ahead and feel entitled to degrade or belittle anybody, Filipina or not.

These things are NOT pointed out for the purpose of getting back at anybody. It is a reminder.

now that i totally agree with. good.gif

Hello Vj'ers,

Pls . help me am confused in fillling up form I-130. What should i answer to this?My husband is the petitioner as a USC step parent.

Question:

1-Information about your alien relative? It says list husband/wife and all children of your relative??

The way i understood it..the relative is my daughter (beneficiary) am i right? How could it be when my daughter is only 11 yrs . old? What should i answer on this?

2-If separate petitions are also being submitted to other relative, give name and relationship of each?? Should i put my son's name on it as the 2nd beneficiary?

3-Have you ever before filed a petition for this or any other alien?yes or no?

My husband filed a K1 petition for me so should i put YES on this?

Pls help me..i really would appreciate it. Thanks so much

If your husband is the USC, then he is the one to fill out the I-130, and all the questions are to be answerred from his perspective.

Mr. Bill, thanks for your reply. My husband is a USC by birth and the reason why i am the one doing all the paper work is he works more than 40 hrs. a week and i did all the paper works from I-129 petition up to my AOS. No problem with the info needed as i know everything about my husband.
I am just confused on the questions i mentioned above since the I-130 sample form from VJ is for the spouse and ours is for my 2 kids .

Anybody can give me a site to refer to pls... My USC husband is the petitioner for my 2 kids as his step children.Pls.. plss..i really badly need your help.
Thanks so much

if your husband is petitioning both of your children, they will each need a separate I-130.

section C #17 your child's name would be listed.
section D # 1. If separate petitions are also being submitted for other relatives, give names of each and relationship.
you would list the name of the other child having a petition submitted.
2. Have you ever before filed a petition for this or any other alien?
you name would go here since your husband filed a I-129f for you.
if any of this is incorrect, hopefully will someone correct any mistakes.

are they be included on the medical interview and visa issuance?bcoz i saw the fee
for the medical and visa its going to cost me some serious money. Can my fiancee
be the only one to get medical interview and issued a visa if everthing went well on her interview?
then her kids do the same later on?

you can if you choose follow to join for the children. if expenses are a concern, in the long run it will be more expensive to follow join than apply at the same time as their mom. if follow to join, there will be the additional expensives of having a guardian ( travel, lodging ,etc....) take the children to the medical and interview. you or your wife would need to fly back to the Philippines to pick up the children to bring them to the USA ( airfare, etc..) when it comes time to AOS, it's more expensive when not filing with their mom. ( $330 additional each child.)

IMHO it's better to bite the bullet, like I did, and have the children go through the process at the same their mom. I have no regets having done so...

best of luck with whatever you decide. good.gif
