I just called NVC and asked about this last week. They told me it will be around 60 calender days between DS-261 submission and your IV bill appearing. I completed our DS-261 on July 17th and am still waiting to pay our IV bill. I'm sure we'll get it just in time for the fee to increase... :angry:

Hello,  we're also waiting to pay our IV bill .DS-261 completed since july 9th, we called last week, they said a supervisor would review it, not amswer yet, tomorrow early  will call again.  OMG

We submitted ds261 on 12th July..... Still waiting for IV invoice. My wife called the NVC last Thursday they said they will pass it for review and said it should be done within 2 more weeks!!

OMG, we submited ds-261 on july 9th. Hopefully they work with us this week. My husband will try to call tomorrow

I have a question....I just mailed my i-130 packet to Chicago lockbox. What happens after that? Does it get transfered somewhere depending where you live? I ask because of this topic. I wouldnt want my case to be transfered to Nebraska if they are taking this long.

well, probably yes, because we mailed 1-130 packet to chicago lockbox and the 1,797c ( notice of action)  says we are in Nebraska. My husband lives in new york.

hey guys Im not sure where to ask this on this site so im hoping one of you can help :)

 

When my husband and I found out how long this visa was going to take he moved back to Australia to work here ( his a permanent resident here)  until its ready but we have now realised we need to change his address with the visa people. We also need to change my address as we have moved to a new town since he came back. so basiclly i need to find out where / who i contact to change address :)

I entered to te website cea.gov and i found  that the IV application is completed and in the civil document theres N/A .It means CC? 

 

 

 

 

 

No , CC is usually when affidavit of support fee changes to  N/A.

Greetings to all. I was in the same situacion at first.( I'am Dominican)

My husband sent 1-130 form in november. Long version of Birth Certificate ( acta inextensa y legalizada) .

Not worries if she di not get her birth certificate at time of her birth, Mine was applied 7 years later of my birth.

Here was normal in the past, now it's changing.

we dont needed school record and churh records either.

Yes you need to fill a separate 1-130.

My husband sent ours ( mine and my daughter 9 years old) in november, and we got mail by USCIS everything was fine..

Today i got a email from the NVC saying they reviewed all the papers i send in for my wife and they need the original copy's of her Birth certificate, marriage certificate and Marriage Termination and a copy of her passport. when i did send in the paper the first time i thought what i send in was copy of everything but when i call them i was told they need all the document with the government seal on them. So i just want to let all newcomers to please check all what you send in before you do. I had copy's of all of your paper but that was not good enough for them. I was so happy my wife had the all that we need and is sending it to me by DHL. My one question is? When they ask for a Divorce paper and then ask for the Divorce Decree what is 

DIVORCE DECREE ISSUED BY OFICIALIA  DEL ESTADO CIVIL. ( ACTA DE DIVORCIO INEXTENSA Y LEGALIZADA)

 

DIVORCE SENTENCE  ISSUED BY CÁMARA CIVIL Y COMERCIAL. (DOCUMENTO CON VARIAS PAGINAS CON LA SENTENCIA DE DIVORCIO DONDE DICE  LOS MOTIVOS DEL DIVORCIO, MANUTENCIÓN Y CUSTODIA DE LOS HIJOS SI HUBIERON ASÍ COMO REPARTICIÓN DE BIENES EN COMÚN.

My husband did not include any pictures, only 2 photos passport style and the 1-130 was approved in 5 months. Do not worrie about, if they want some pictures they will sent you a RFE.

your wife package: birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce certificate if it existed, two photos, police certificate, copy of  bio-data passport page . 

 

For your stepson, birth certificate, two photos, copy of bio- data passport page. i think you do not have to send marriage certificate for him.

if they are not asking for something specific, just submit suporting documents is a false ckeclist I also received a checklist yesterday, which said that they had received my ds-260 and asking for suportin documents I had already sent on september 11th. I called todat at NVC and the person who answered me reviewed my case and said they had RECEIVED civil documents, and that these emails are automatically generated. No worries about that
