I'm late in the process compared to all of you but we received a letter from NVC dated of the 7th April saying they received our case. What is the next contact with NVC? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September CSC filers?	I'm still waiting for my NOA2... We got a RFE on the 28 feb, and we mailed our package on the 1st march and since then no news. My fiance did the mistake to send that package in basic mail so we don't even know where it is at and since the deadline of our RFE is this week, we decided to send it all again by overnight mail. According to the tracking number they received it and signed for it yesterday, but still no email stating they received it. I'm overtly stressed, I'm so scared that they ask us to start over or something. Since our first package got lost with the RFE paper inside, we sent our second package with our case number but without the RFE page (since we didn't do a copy of it). We sure messed up on that one , but at least we know for next time to ALWAYS choose overnight mail. I wonder do they send you the reception email like the day after they receive the package? And aren't they supposed to approve you (or deny you, but I hope not) before or at least on the day of your deadline?	carine	Female	France	2011-03-23 04:53:00

I already sent with our first application in sept 2010: -plane tickets -one picture of us together (might be our mistake, I sent just one without writting where and when it was) -passport stamps (we didn't scan the front page of it with ours names and stuff ) We will send them more plane tickets, plenty plenty pictures with family and all with little notes, copies of our passports with the front page this time. I assume emails and msn discussion logs would be useless since it just prove on going relationship but not that we met. I think of him sometimes too, and hope he is all right... I went to DMV yesterday and passed my writting test!! I couldn't pass my driving test yet, so I had it scheduled on next tuesday! I hope I will be all right! It should be all right if it is not snowing this day!! This week-end is my first wedding on the job since I am a married woman!! I assisted many weddings so far, but this one will be funny in a sense as I will understand more the emotion and stress of the bride before her wedding! Sunny, congratulations on your puppy!! I barely drove on snow in France...so it is a challenge now to know it is going to be like that every winter! I see my fiancé being just fine driving through a snow storm (like 3 days ago ), but I need to de-stress and practice little by little! I am not too concern about the written test, but more about the driving part, especially with snowy roads now! I did sent my I-693, but the civil surgeon did know about the TB test requirements, so she did not transcribe that one! Sorry, I am a little late, but I don't have any internet connexion right now! In my case with the DMV, there is only one, and it is an hour and half away! I went over there with my NOA and the biometric stamp on it, but they say I will need my EAD or CG. I am not so concern about it anymore, as I am not driving except to go to the post office. I live in the middle of the woods, and the deers are everywhere! There weren't jumping on the road yet, but as the hunting season started, they will be jumping for anything! Plus, the snow is coming now, so I won't risk to drive right now without a Minnesota license, and it is ok because I am a little afraid to drive at that time of the year! Like you said, have it certified plus the apostille should be more than enough!! So, to make sure, did you send everything and they got back to you, or are you sending everything now? I sent all my papers but never got a respond yet. I sent my certified copy of the wedding with the apostille (but it isn't notarized!), and my BC was 3 months and half old (so I might need to get a new one, less than 3 months, but I still wanted to give a try with that one...).About my husband BC, it is the one he had at his birth.....so we will see about that one too! they don't say anything about how old this one should be, if I didn't miss that! Did the french Consulate told you need to have it notarized or someone else? because on the Chicago website, they don't mention it, so if it is the case, I am wondering what's wrong with them?!
