Twice, I had some ladies, I explained my situation, and without saying anything, they put an automated message redirecting me to a phone line with a fee charged. I, then, called the other line, and had a guy who was saying there were nothing I could do. At the beginning, he thought I was wondering if I wasn't approved by USCIS yet, and started to be like I was stupid and didn't know anything about the K1 visa!That I still had to wait 3 more months! I told him I got my NOA2, and my paper from NVC, with my new case number. He told me I just needed to wait for my interview date. I was like, not I didn't receive my packet3 yet! did you received my petition, I have the case number. That guy didn't seem to know what I was saying, he almost told me they were no packet 3,and there were no more informations I could get from calling!!! I was really pissed off, and then really sad!! That process is getting me crazy...it is like it is never ending. As if, not being with your fiancé is not hard enough, people make you pay to get no informations, and make you feel like you're the stupidest person ever! I am getting tired with all of that, I just thought nice persons could just give more informations about my case... Well, I will stop venting now!! That, at least, made me feel a little bet better. I hope nobody is taking bad my post about me complaining even if I am lucky that I have been approved. I am still hoping more January filers will get approved this week!! Come on CSC!!! (Some persons were saying NVC received their petition on May 5th, when I just got approved by CSC.) My fiancé did received a paper saying our petition was received at the NVC on May 15th. What you can try to do is tracking packet from DHL ( NVC only use DHL to send petitions to embassies). Here is the post of someone who called NVC, and here is what she got: My package left NVC on 08 May 2008. This is what I did on the site http://track.dhl-usa...?nav=TrackByRef In the "reference" box, I put EXP 07 MAY 2008A (notice that's the day before they said it left) They must generate their reference and do the packing the day before pick-up because EXP 08 MAY...didn't work. Below in the "shipment pick up date range" I put May 8 2008 to May 8 2008 (I wanted to see things leaving NVC on only May 8) Then click the red arrow that says "track" There were three pages of shipments, so be sure and click "next" which indicates if there are more pages. I noticed that there were 67 shipments leaving NVC on May 8, but each was to a different country (no duplicates) which tells me that they combine petitions going to the same Embassy. Looking at details on some shipments, the London package was 3 pounds and Manila was 40 pounds, so there must have been many petitions from Manila going together. I did the same steps above for the previous day (May 7) and there were 16 countries, but they were all different from the May 8 countries. Thats 83 different countries in 2 days, with multiple petitions in many boxes! It kinda gives you an idea that many more petitions are being processed than just the timelines we stare at here on VJ. They may have some order in their mail room where different countries go out on different days of the week. It's just my speculation for what it's worth. I just cannot stop thinking OMG you've got approved!! I just called my baby to let him know! He was happy, but really sleepy! I saw like yesterday that I've been touched at the end of April, and already started to be really excited!!even if i thought it was maybe nothing! I don't think I am gonna sleep a lot tonight!! And of course, I feel bad "bragging" about my case, because like a lot of us, I thought you would get approved first, and then, I could start think, ok, I should be next! As for us scrapbookers we all got our own styles etc haha....basically it is making your photos into art and sharing them in a more interesting and personalized way then just in a photo book. That is how I look at it anyway I have been on a horrible hiatus though since this whole visa process has seemed to zap all my energy and creative juices out of me! I looked up the form to get a SSN, in order to get married (requested by the courthouse). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September CSC filers?	This past 6 or 7 weeks since we have been waiting for Pui's interview has been so SLOW. I was just talking to her and decided to see if the embassy updated the schedule for June and they did and just made sure her interview is still 06/08 and it is. This next 2 weeks should go pretty quick I think. For those of you with your loved ones I just want to say congratulations and good luck with your journeys and for those of you who are still waiting I just wanted to say good luck and you will be with your loved ones soon and good luck with your journeys. Mine was yesterday at Paris (yes I had written the 16june in this thread but I missed spell it was 26june interview date) We got approved!!!! And I already booked my planes tickets because I'm scared it would be way too expensive if I wait. I took a direct flight Paris-Detroit for the 17 june, that will be a date printed in our memory!
