yeah Digicel will NOT work outside of Jamaica. I think you have to call them prior to leaving for them to activate International Roaming, and you have to have enough credit LOADED on the phone as well if it's prepaid. Especially the Go-Go dancers....it's not gully or grimmy...it's just fun...wid good vibes. Ken dared me to stick a dollar bill inna dem g-string...he must have forgotten who he was wid.

..I went right up there and DID IT!!

They also have a pool upstairs on the roof!

No not really i think we do have alot of jobs in my fiend in the MW though i chose tx as i have friends there since i lived there for a year and everyone was so nice so helpful there and friendly verrry friendly. You know I've passed it many times but never went inside. There's this really good Ital place behind the Mobay buspark though. Its this shack of a place where all these wierd little shops are, but the food is soooo hearty and the best soy carrot drink. That place has to be one of my favorites in Jamaica thus far. The food is good and not loaded with grease. It feels you up, but doesnt make you feel heavy afterwards.

Late night the rastas setup shop on some street i swear i could not tell u where it is but like after midnight maybe they start cookin chris always gets the veggie chunks with fried dumplings and i get maccaroni and salt fish. This is right outside not in any shop.

There is also a very good chineese place by all of the jewelry stores im not sure of the shopping plaza but its bright yellow! we always get pinneapple chicken fried rice. Nyam and Jam has the best fried chicken! Ok im hungry now. I dreamed last night that was in Jamaica and overlooking the ocean and sad because i had to leave the next day and kept wondering why i didnt book a return flight on Tues instead of Mon.

Oh, thats our Chinese spot too!! I love that place. We always go there, the day before I come home. I get the garlic chicken. I'm gonna check Nyam out next time.

The best market i have found is in MD Randallstown its even better than the ones i have been to up here. Minus Sun Tropical in Newark i can find what i want but the callaloo is not good but they do have everything else u want but this store in randallstown i prefer that. We go to MD to see my mom every other week, so that is the first stop off of the beltway to get my Lasco

i have been mixing that with my herbalife vanilla shake. I have been trying to eat more healthy. Has anyone seen you are what you eat on the BBC channel that lady Gillian McKeith, http://www.bbcameric...t/273/index.jsp the nutritionist has me scared lol after showing what all those people eat and its making them sick. Next purchase is a juicer. Hubby says um you can eat that stuff but im not. So far he has eaten the brown rice i made with coconut water. Made it taste a little better.

You know JAlove, this is a common myth about folks with California. This state ain't over crowded for nothing, lol. There are tons of ways to live good in California. Depends on where in the state you live. This state is so big and there are so many big cities with great jobs that its easy to find a place and fit in somewhere. If you want some leads just let me know. I must say that to start off in California...you have to start low and then upgrade later. So many people think CA is expensive cause they are trying to live outside of their means...but having property...ANY property in CA is a great investment. So buy low, and sell big.

I have never been to Evita's, but I had my wedding dinner @ Spring Garden Cafe. The food is great! The number is 795-3149. The restaurant is about a 5-minute drive from Evita's.

mrs. scott u are a gem. I wanted to post about the seafood place I had dinner, but didn't want to say, its off the other end of main street to the right. lol when we went there was a private party at the outdoor side. it looked nice, but we ended up eating dinner inside.

Jengles...lol That place me be a little hard to find. What was it near? Any other stores or landmarks?

I struggle with this all the time! LOL Living in Pittsburgh is no cup of tea...especially in the wintertime but the cost of living is cheap even though our job market is still competitive because we're in Pennsylvania but reap the benefits of Philly being our "neighbor". Because Philly is a little more expensive than Pgh., the job market here pays the same.

My old apartment in Philly was about $1100 and that was back in 2000. I have a 3bdrm house in Pittsburgh, central air, garage and huge backyard and my mortgage is only $573 and i live right in the city in a decent neighborhood. That's always my dilemma with going somewhere else they may have more perks than a small city like Pittsburgh but at what cost? Trust me, I would love to be somewhere that's more culturally diverse but It's hard to leave when I have tons of extra money every month and can wipe out debt at leisure.

I'll be staying put until I know more about me and Dave's relationship once he gets here.....no need for both of us to be somewhere that neither one of us can afford!

If only I can find a job that is paying me what I am getting now with all the little perks. Let me see if any of the subsidiaries for our parent company is out that way! To have mortgage of $573 would be a dream here.

I'll be an icicle for what 4 months out of the year for $573/mth for mortgage. And I can bet average utility bills aren't too bad and for sure homeowners insurance is a fraction of what it is here. My mom's insurance bill in total was over $4000 for the year and figure that with property taxes being about the same.

My mind is all ova the place right now. Its looking like back to texas( dallas-fort worth ) area all i recall is rent bein 589.00 + 65 for garage and i miss that compared to my now 1565 starting in march

so ill be doing month to month till i get out. I dont want to suck into another years lease. GA would be nice and so would FL but i cant find any jobs in FL with my company other than sales and thats not my thing. MD of course also but that is almost as high as here my goal is to save and cut lots of cost.
