Good mornin everyone...Please pray for my SIL her visitor visa  interview is today but shes feeling stress and upset. She mashed up the family car yesterday. It can be fixed but its not driveable and they need it and along with that she hit the wheel of a van and has to somehow get that fixed. Please send up a prayer for her. Whats ur opinion....ok do you think day before thanksgiving embassy officials will be in a GREAT mood kicking.gif or week after thanksgiving? I personally think before thanksgiving as i think about how we are at work right before christmas and thanksgiving knowing we get a day off and the festivities. However, do you think most folks workin at the embassy have their families there?

I have a few cousins that were on their way to work this morning. I just got off the phone with them and they didn't hear anything about an accident in that area or on that stretch of road. Do you know if the bus was going Chalky Hill? I pray he's okay. Those minivan drivers are CRAZY!


Thank you GOD! He just called - the bus was trying to pass a line of cars and hit something and overturned. He said he hit his chest and his foot is swollen and Jr hit his chest. They went to some little clinic but will go to the hospital after they finish with the police.

But his biggest worry ....he can't find all the papers that were in the envelope that I just sent down. I told him don't worry about it right now!!

Thank you all for holding my hand, again. I love you guys. Now I'm going to bawl some relief.

Is this your first baby?? Don't worry about the pain....our body has a way of dealing with it. Besides I hear that after the birth many women hardly remember the intensity!

HI guys, congrats sunny n ray kicking.gif I just got back from sono, they say the baby is now abt 7lbs 4 oz give or take a pound on either end! Amniotic fluid is high again its 25, they told me that hey the dr may take that baby tomorrow! wow i wonder if he will. I will see at my apt tomorrow morn.

Hi JaLove and KKholiday, isn't the weather wonderful outside, so why are the 3 of us on line? Me, I'm doing some work for work. But I did get some good news yesterday, that I would like to share w/others.

Joel left home when he was 13, qnd he was raised by this man that kinda took him under his wings. About 5 years ago this man was shot and killed, he left a young daughter and and a young son behind. Joel has take them on as his responbility even though, they have mothers and aunts who was caring for them physically. Well, the young lady is very smart in school, so when I met Joel we talked about how it might be possible for her to go to college. She had told me that she wants to be a medical doctor, so I told her not to give up that hope because if she wants it it will happen. Joel and I had talked about maybe we could help her w/this financially, this was when we thought he would be coming back to work thru the work program. That didn't happen, so those hopes were dashed, but we didn't give up hope. Last night she called me and told me that she was offered a full scholarship to college in Cuba. At first I started to heistate, but then I realized that this was a blessing.

So, I told her to please don't turn it down, go until that something else she wants comes up. I am soooo happy for her.

This morning I was thinking, would I still be able to write to her when she goes to Cuba? Or will I have to send my letters to JA, then they have to forward them to Cuba. I don't want to do anything that will be me or Joel on some govt watch list. But we will still need to keep in contact with her, because Joel has promised her deceased father he would.



Yes, it is such a nice day in Maryland. I should be outside enjoying it more.

Marylanders. We must meet at the muffin man before i depart, didnt u all say Oct?? for that. Im trying to see when ill be leavin here. Soon ill only have 6 to 8 weeks left. They will have to figure something out. They always do! There are 2 sisters there, 2 working brothers and 2 small kids and 1 teenager. Conserve energy, dont run the TV and Music all day and turn lights out when not needed.

Oh chris got his license finally smile.gif he passed both test on same day last Sat. So last nite i let him drive home, he didnt do too bad. Just need to practice remembering to keep to the right of the road at stop light cuz the turning folk stay left. She nevah call him to say hi to him. He sends them cards, she did not have them call him to say thank you. All she inquire is if he in da states based on picture he sent them. So she go askin his aunti n sister. So today he finally get thru to them n this what she say bout the kids didnt like the things they like fancy stuff!



None of my husband's family or friends call to ever just say hi to him or see how he is doing. Last night, his mom and sister both called and he wouldn't answer. He said, I'm tired of people just trying to use me.

Tell Chris he's not alone. It is something he should probably get used to.

Sister told him last week that they got a text from the elec company sayin they owe, he said well i thought u all had that all caught up, she said its back up again so it looks like she asked for 200 bucks I heard him tellin her he dont have it. They got some nerve to ask for anything especially now in our current situation but i guess they think we rich.

I'll be in Baltimore at a conference Oct 27th - 30th - staying in the Inner Harbor. Still not quite sure when I am coming down - probably leaving Sat or Sun and staying somewhere else. One of my friends is coming with me (she's not going to the conference, just tagging along) - The hotel is paid for by my job for the conference nights, but I am not spending $349 outta pocket myself for the first night!

I say do what you can and don't worry about this stupid stuff. If they aren't happy with the gifts you are able to send, and start getting really rude about it, then they don't really need your gifts anyhow. Stop sending them and see how much nicer they get. From experience, I know if you send more expensive, fancy gifts, the requests will always be for more gifts and more expensive gifts. Nip it in the bud now before you create monsters.

Hi good morning everyone. Im just wakin up. Its cold! they got the heat on over here already.

All this week i was dreamin crazy stuff. First one was my friends boyfriend bought she and i chinese food n once it was delivered about 4 chinese people sat down and ate it with us and then they had a choice between regular or whole wheat fortune cookies hahah next dream was me and someone were robbing vending machines lol then after that i dreamed i had the baby n i was like thats not my baby its a boot leg baby its a setup! i was like i dont remember havin no baby so it cant be mine so then the baby started talking hmmmm and i didnt eat late so i dunno why im dreamin this foolish stuff
