I'm one of the ones that said I wouldn't be taking it even if it was still a requirement I have been pushing my doc for my vaccination list. I have all my shots up to date, even the tetanus one...just need the damn list from him. - I called the other place they still don't know if their doctor will be available but if they are I can have April 5th. Medisys needs 3 full business days................ my appointment is on the 8th. In order to get my results by April 7th at 12 noon - I need to have an appointment April 1st. You couldn't just have it on the 5th and pick the results up on the 7th? Wow, those people are stinkers. If they're gonna be like that, getting the other place to do it if possible would be the best even if they are more expensive. At least you could save money on the hotel room. I so wish you and Mathew had your interview at the same time, we could have a slumber party together and that'd really help you save. Plus, it'd just be fun!!! The other place can get them to you in 2 days, but it's 60 bucks more, which would STILL pay for an extra day at the hotel you found. It would be very weird to me if Medisys got him his in 3 days, but took longer for yours. Oh, and remember. The HPV vaccine is no longer required so you wont need that. But when he did his they told him 72 hours. As long as you have your medical 4 days before your interview(I wouldn't risk picking up your results the same day) I don't see a problem. I was just wondering, because the interview letter listed to bring the original divorce judgement and marriage certificate among other things... Thanks! Did you seriously already get your p4??? I HATE CANADA POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mathew still hasn't gotten his Christmas Card I sent out a month ago. His mom got hers just fine a week and a half ago. And she lives in the freaking north pole. Laval is 20 flippin minutes from Montreal and...grrrr. just grrrrrrr!!!! He'll probably get his P4 letter the day of the interview. F you, Canada Post. I hope someone puts wheaties in your underwear. EDIT: After my big rant I had Mathew go check his mail. It's there. LOL. I scared them and they rushed over to put that in there!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2009 K-1 Visa Filers	I think this thread is for VSC but as I’m a Sep 09 filer too, I thought I should post here for some question that I have. First, I just wanted to say congratulations to everyone who has received their visa. I got my Fiancé interview date today, May 4th. As excited as I am, I’m kinda worried that it is 4 months past the NOA 2 approval (12/14/09) and I thought that the approval was only valid for 4 months. My guts tell me that I don’t need to worry much but I just wanted to know if anyone has had the same issue and if it was a problem. Thanks guys Most consulates will go ahead and extend your NOA2 date as long as the reason for the expiry was not that you didn't send papers in on time, but was only because of scheduling. Since you've gotten your interview date I'd say that you're in the clear, but you may want to check with the Consulate where you are interviewing and maybe post the question in the Nigeria forums. I'm sure that someone who has interviewed at your consulate would know the correct answer, as I'm only speculating. I know that Canada automatically extends dates, but am not sure which other countries do, or if all do. I'm gonna go ahead and assume that you should be just fine. I was so excited to see that it was signed by L BOX(because the Lock Box is so special it can sign it's OWN name ). Now it's back to waiting and hoping we don't get the RFE for the medical. Hopefully my little note on the cover page was enough to make them look for it. I figured for sure that we would all be so spread out in our AOS that we wouldn't be able to go through it together, but looks like us 3 will be, and we'll have Jenn there to guide us along the way. Fuats original medical should have been in his POE packet that he handed over. Sending in that DS-3025(Or whatever the number is, lol) shows the person looking at your case that the medical will be in the POE packet and that you didn't need a CS. When people get RFE's it's either because the person didn't look, the medical was over a year old, or it got lost between POE and Chicago. I sent in that little piece of paper and included a special note on the cover letter telling them that his medical would be in his POE packet. If it's there, yay! If it's not, we'll have to go to a CS and get it fixed. So either it'll save us some money or set us back a couple of days. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2009 K-1 Visa Filers	I think they main reason they want you to file before 90 is up because after 90 days you're out of status. If wait and file a year or so after that and apply for AP it's pretty much moot because you've been out of status for so long that you would get an automatic ban when you try and re-enter the country. I think it's something like 180 days of out of status time is a 3 year ban and a year of out of status time is a 10 year ban. So basically, the less time you're out of status, the better. I wish people other than us would drop in sometime, but we always were the ones posting the most. I know we've had this discussion many times about how we wish people other than just us would drop in, instead of just coming around for a week and then never again. My hubby(I love saying that) adores theme parks so he'll be sooo excited to come to Kings Dominion. One of my cousins went there the other day and it made me think of you and smile. Since stupid Kentucky made Mathew hold his learners permit for 30 days even though he didn't have to(as clearly stated by the DMV in Frankfort), his drivers test appointment is next Tuesday. My photographer put up some of the pictures he took at the wedding and put them on his blog. It's billcaine.bigfolioblog.com if anyone wants to take a looksee. And now for the AOS panic and a question that I'm really really wondering about. The minister at my wedding never asked Mathew and I to sign anything at the wedding. He took the marriage certificate, gave us a tiny sheet of paper to have until the marriage certificate comes in saying that our wedding was performed on June 26th, blah blah, but that's it. Now on the I-485 it asks for the name of the spouse, which would be me. Then it gets complicated and confusing, at least for me. I've been through 11 pages in the AOS forum and any time a person mentions the marriage certificate and the name change it is referenced as something that is supposed to be signed at the wedding. I didn't look at my marriage certificate so I don't know if there's a portion about changing my name. As it is I'm terrified that if Kentucky law requires that Mathew and I both sign the marriage certificate in the presence of the minister that a.) we're not really married and b.) I'm going to get into the biggest cat fight with the minister that the world has ever seen. If I see him in public as it is he's in big trouble with me and now it looks like he may have botched my wedding. I guess what I'm eventually trying to get at(you all know how I ramble) is did anyone else NOT sign their marriage certificate at the wedding? And did anyone else(USC women, obviously LOL) use their maiden name on the I-485 because they hadn't changed their name yet? I'm going to call the county clerks office tomorrow to see about the requirement for us to sign it and the name change, but I'll bet I wont be sleeping tonight. A little disaster struck last night. I'm doing little fish bowls for my centerpieces(yea I know I chance my mind lots) filled with that deco gel stuff and with a floralyte inside of them. Well, I had just gotten in the shipment of deco gel that I thought was supposed to be purple but when I added water to it and it expanded it looks red/pinkish and the floralyte does not shine through it AT ALL. So at midnight last night I'm freaking out on what to do and Mathew kept trying to calm me down. I had to order 8 more bags of the deco gel pearls that I KNOW actually turn into purple but I'm scared it wont be here before my wedding. After all this ordeal with you and everything I decided that after my wedding when I cut my hair I'll be donating it to Locks of Love. It's grown so much since the last time I cut it and right now I can't wait to donate it. Mathew had to take his permit test today. After we were told that he doesn't have to take his road test we found out that he DOES, in fact, have to take it. So right now he has to hold his permit for 30 days and then take the road test. I called the lady that filled out his paperwork today and she told me he can't even drive on his Canadian license anymore. A licensed driver has to be in the car at all times. I think that's #######. We went and finally got his car registered(completely painless this time around, and that dumb broad from last time wasn't even there), opened up a completely new checking account with both of our names on it and deposited checks from his family(US Bank will deposit Canadian checks just like they are American, whoo!), I got my BC refilled and we got our marriage license. We tried to get his drivers license too, but the lady that does it wasn't there so we have to go see her tomorrow in a different town. Overall I'm feeling much better about everything since I got 95% of it done in one day. Seriously, you'll always be gorgeous no matter what. Okay, so it's 38 days until the wedding. I'm officially freaking. Remember all of that awesome wedding advice I had for everyone a while back? I seem to have lost the ability to share it with myself! LOL. I did get some deco water pearls and I'm going to fill eiffel tower vases with those, put some floralytes in and then top it off with ostrich feathers for our centerpieces. My monthly bill hasn't came this month so that makes me about 4 days late. I took 2 pregnancy tests yesterday and they both came back negative so I'm going to credit it to stress. I do this all the time. Once I didn't have one for 3 months because I was so stressed and worried about it. But Mathew gets here tomorrow!!!!!! I'm soooo excited! We didnt have a copy of his police certificate, they take the original on that and we had forgotten to get the copy of his BC so the lady at the window made a copy for us.
