I had fought with this guy on the phone all day yesterday and then at about 10 minutes til closing he comes walking in, missing half of his teeth and with hair that hadn't been washed in days and freaked out on all of us again. But one of my maids of honor(I work with 2 out of 3, lol) knew him and she told him that he owed me an apology and sure enough he came walking over like a puppy with his tail stuck between his legs. PLUS I told him how he came to the U.S. so he probably was thinking what he's going to have for lunch. He was probably thinking Arby's, lol. Some people are just so incompetent that they'll tell a customer anything to get them off the phone/to leave. Customer Service for AT&T is the worst for doing that. Yesterday they told a customer that he was SHAFTED because we could have let him pay for his phone at $5 a month on his bill. We've never ever ever done that. But because of that jackass on the phone I was stuck at work last night with a crazy man until 9:30. But the funny part was that the guy didn't have his ID so he tells my manager that he can get on the courts website and see his picture because he's a sex offender. I didn't work today so I went to go apply for Glenoi's social security card and the man told me that it's already applied for once he comes though immigration He said it'll come in the mail within 2-3 weeks after he comes, I highly doubt that so I'll go back next week, hopefully I'll get someone different and someone who knows what they're talking about. I would call or go back for a second opinion. I've never heard of them being automatically ordered when they come through immigration. I would hate to see you waste 2-3 weeks of time if the person you spoke to was making a mistake. Or maybe they were thinking of a different visa??? Oh, and keep an eye on your phone next tuesday. The top tier is supposed to have like that glitter sugar stuff and instead it's some kind of weird squiggles. She also told me that she did wonderful icing roses. The roses on the cake were fine, they looked good, but the leaf things were awful. I thought that the tiers were almost the same size as one another and that made the cake look a little weird. I think it mostly just scares me because other pictures on her website of her cakes aren't that great. There are a few that are pretty, but most of them are lop-sided or look generally just messy. I called and talked to her about the cake and she got very defensive. I wasn't at all hateful or acted like it wasn't pretty, I just gave her some notes on what I wanted my cake to be like, versus the one for the other bride. Needless to say that $135 pricetag was really too good to be true. Her attitude about it was awful. I could really understand a bad attitude if I had acted like a bridezilla but all I did was call her and tell her that I saw the cake and that it was good, but I wanted to make a few changes to the one she was going to do for me. I agree better safe than sorry and go with the one that is a bit more pricey. The cake is the most important thing to Mathew(for obvious reasons. He's a man=men live for food) and I just want everything to be beautiful. If I had this gorgeous wedding and everything it would crush me to walk into my reception and see what I saw tonight. You know, it was going awesome and then I got this new computer. I haven't put it on here yet, but I definately learned a lot while I was using it. Wii fit it awesome. They have so many fun games on there that really do work you out. Maggie, I love the dress!!!!!! I changed my cake lady today. She had called me and told me that she was doing my cake for another bride and that she'd let me know when she put the pictures up. Well...she did. And it was awful. And then I really started looking at all of her cakes and they just weren't as good as they could be. I was putting it up as the brides probably picked an ugly cake, but when I know what the cake I wanted looks like and then I see what she did to it, it made me really really nervous. It's just that nowadays there are so many "fakes" that you can't know the real unless you take it to the pro... Just my opinion. I never was either, but when I got my engagement ring I was all "ooooo!!!", and when we went to try on wedding bands I tried some plain bands but nothing matched mine except the one with the diamonds in it. That was the only one that looked good. The only thing I don't like about my rings having diamonds in them is because I have tiny hands. I want an SUV so bad I cant stand it. A girl I work with test drove the new Kia Sorento yesterday, and it was awesome on the inside, and really pretty in black. I think I really want either a GMC Acadia or a Terrain though. Kia's are good for gas mileage and the price but, you know. Our store failed the audit yesterday. It was awful.... It does work you out quite a bit if you're doing the right workouts. The hula hoop is really good for your abs and I like the yoga part of it. I'd say worth the money. I need a new outfit in the worst way. On a separate note, getting out of debt sucks. I just set up payment arrangements for one of my big cards and I want to puke. The balance is at $1503, so I'm doing 4 payments of $263.37 to get it taken care of as quickly as possible. After that's done I'll have one more card to pay off and then I'm out of debt. How far are you from there? I am planning on getting there the night before Fuat arrives, so will be alone in the big city Kayla.. your interview is exactly one month after ours.. AND will be the day Fuat actually walks through the door of our house I picked this place for us, over a year ago, and can't wait for him to finally walk through the door. March 23 is going to be a great day!!!! I love planning my wedding and I know that with what I've designed for it will be spectacular, I just don't want to fuss over the decorations AND get myself and my girls ready for my big day. I want to relax and enjoy our moment instead of going bridezilla when something goes wrong. And at this point, as hard as I've worked over every little detail, I would end up looking like godzilla in a wedding dress, LOL. I need someone to execute what I want and to deal with my vendors. And of course, to clean up afterwards, . On March 23rd Mathew and I will be celebrating our approval, and Jenn and Fuat will be celebrating finally walking in THEIR house together. I love love love my blackberry but I had EVERYTHING on my iPhone, and it was actually very very handy. I just wish I had gotten MobileMe because then I could track it down. Sooooo...we hired a wedding coordinator for the day of the wedding. I've planned most of this wedding to perfection but I'm just scared to death that something is going to go wrong with it on the big day, so I figure that this person can be my life saver. Wedding coordinators aren't for everyone, but since I'm about to have a mental breakdown thinking about everything I have left to do for the visa and for the wedding, I caved in. I took my car to get the oil changed in it and a body lube(which made me teehee), and I get a call saying that my car needs 2 new front tires and they want $300 for them. Hell to the no on that. I drive a Kia Spectra, not a Lexus, folks. I'm not paying 300 for 2 tires. I can find them somewhere way cheaper. Then, when one of the girls I work with took me to pick up my car I put my iPhone in the holster on my hip and when I was getting into her huge SUV apparently it hit the door and fell out. I didn't realize it until about 2 minutes later when I went to make a call. I used her phone to call the girls back at the store and have them look and it was already gone. That parking lot was empty when we left so someone at one of our neighboring stores had to of saw it and picked it up. So I lost my company phone. I mean, I actually bought the iphone(the company gave me a Blackberry Bold), but it had my company sim card in it which they were probably trying to use. Of course I called it no less than 100 times but no one ever picked it up. I've been watching craigslist today to see if someone put an iphone on there that they mysteriously can't remember the passcode to and if I find it I'm going to crack some skulls. Now only I wish we could get warmer. Hopefully by the end of the month it will be back to normal here with the weather. Joanna just bringing a suit case with her tools for the UV gel nails she does and hair stuff for the hair she does. She said she is buying most of her cloths here. I can already see the bank account going down lol. The downside of moving here and not somewhere in the EU for her and us is that she is going to have to get all the papers to work with hair and nails. For us, no time soon because I want him to get a job, save some money, pay off my bills THEN move. There's no place for Mathew to get a job in Eastern KY. He's an engineer and right now he's been working on building flight simulators for airplanes. He can get a job around Lexington or Louisville, but for most of those you have to be a US Citizen. He just got an email from his job saying that his NATO security clearance came in, but when he moves down here until he's a citizen all of that is pretty much useless. He did find some jobs at GE in Louisville that look promising so we're hoping for that. But until his EAD comes in he can't look for a job, and until he looks for a job and interviews we don't know where we'll be. So hopefully we'll be out of moms house by October or November. I thought it wasn't too awful until two days later when it felt like Jackie Chan had been kicking me in the ribs again, and again and again... I haven't done P90X in so long that I made a last minute decision to start with Slim in 6. But I'm totally feeling the Jackie Chan thing. My leg muscles feel like Jackie Chan and Chuck Norris unleashed their fury on them. But that means that my workout was good so I'm excited!!! Will Glenoi get the visa today, Krystle?? Hopefully I'll come back less stressed. Aww I hope you feel better when you come back. We loves you! So day one of my diet went really well. I got these things called thin-buns and they look like pita bread, but it's just regular wheat and each piece is cut in half to make a really thin bun. I ate a turkey burger on that and a small baked potato for dinner. I'm sure I've eaten turkey burgers before, but I don't remember the taste. Well, it was awesome! I'm feeling really pumped about this diet thing. But I'm sure after my workout tonight I wont be so pumped! I also went out today and did something for ME to reward me for starting the diet. I got my nails done! with PINK tips! Once I lose 10 pounds I'll do another ME thing as a little reward for being so good.
