How awesome the system is!!!! I really am so excited for everyone here that have gotten their interview dates. I just know that we're all going to pass with flying colors! I really look forward to planning our meet-up whenever it's possible. It would be so awesome to see so many happy couples in one place at the same time. I have decided that I'm going to try my best to go to Canada for Mathew's interview. The only thing that sucks is that if his interview isn't the week of March the 20th, I'm going to have to miss his graduation and I really don't want to do that. I suppose I could take a couple days off of work without pay, but we need every bit of money we can get to start our lives with. I'm still living at home so I don't have a place of my own. We're gonna need EVERYTHING. But in the end, I think being at the interview, supporting him, holding his hand, and being there to celebrate when they tell him we're approved is the most important thing. I noticed AandD visited the forum yesterday but she didn't post anything, hmmm. As the days are getting closer I'm excited to see my hubby and pass that interview. But last night I was reading reviews about my consulate and it turns out they're not very nice, so now I'm nervous. I can't think of a reason why they would deny us but in the mean time I'm trying my best to stay positive and have faith. Everyone: have a great day! 20 DAYS TIL OUR INTERVIEW! Have you been working on that scrapbook??? I think it would be the best idea ever since your consulate is so grumpy. You bring there, toting a hand-made scrapbook(or lovebook) would give them next to NO reason to deny you. I mean, as long as you pass affidavit of support requirements, which you do, right??? Every year our store gets all geared up for spring and summer and we pretty much take over the tanning bed at the hair salon next door. Like a dummy I took off my makeup and put moisturizer on and layed the full 20 minutes. Bad idea, lol. Now my face tingles like crazyyy. But that's okay. I tan so easy it'll be brown tomorrow. Gotta get ready for that wedding, ya know! We're thinking about doing a zumba class in the store after closing, I can't waitttt! When I'm in Jamaica w' my honey, I go to bed very early (like 830) and wake up @ like 7 and he HATES that because then I wake him up for "cookies," knowing that I got "cookies" before I went to sleep! Wth is "mini-spooners & vault?" I'm not sure what's up w' your avatar Kayla, on my phone I see the b&w pic but on my laptop I see the cute pic. Is it that you keep on changing it??? I still wasn't able to change mine, it keeps saying my pic is too big but it re'sized my first avatar..... IDK (I don't know) Mini-Spooners is that Malt-O-Meal brand of frosted mini wheats. And Vault is that energry soda(I call it pop, lol) that is kinda like mountain dew. She would just sit at her computer with the bag of mini-spooners and eat it like chips. Yuck. Now I love me some frosted mini wheats as much as the next person, but I couldn't eat only that for the rest of my life. Cap'n Crunch would be jealous! She only ate mini-spooners, and drank Vault. Like really. That was IT. Apparently when she was younger she looked at a hamburger, told it that it was dirty, and never ate meat again. Forgot about that.. but my company doesn't usually recognize most holidays and the park is open during a lot of them.. so I get to work on MLK day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor day.. but hey, we do take President's day off.. Oh, and I do get two days off at Thanksgiving and two weeks off at Christmas.. plus my regular Non-Holiday vacation time.. so I guess I shouldn't be complaining. Maybe I will have to declare Monday a vacation day and not go to work pfft, my job barely recognizes christmas. We get Christmas day off and that's it. The world runs on iphones, not dunkin donuts! My gosh, it doesn't seem like it had been that long. I would be going crazy.. you have so much more patience than I do, but I suppose if you can't do anything about it no point in getting all worked up. Nah, montreal is done with Feb. scheduling already. I think they only schedule for one week in a month. So if we get scheduled next month that doesn't even mean that it'll be for March. It could be for April. I don't care when it is, as long as it's before the wedding. I'm usually not this patient. I'm the person that wants everything now, now, now, now. But with this I'm calm. We're at the last step. After this he's mine forever and ever and I think that's something worth waiting for. I waited 4 years for this man to be mine again, a few more months wont kill me. I'm just so blissfully and happily in love with him. And yeah, it's been a month and 6 days since our case was logged at Montreal. So it's been nearly a month and a half. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2009 K-1 Visa Filers	I know this was a few pages ago, but I thought I'd point out that the person who posted that whole Montreal Interview things is going for a different visa type! They do all the scheduling differently, so you never know! You (well Kayla, I mean, haha) might get an earlier date if they decide to work more on K1s!!! Yeah, we may get a earlier date, but since Montreal is so understaffed at the moment, I don't think that it would really make a difference what kind of visa it is. I've been waiting almost a month and a half and the anger has subsided. Now I just wait with patience and count my blessings already. I'm marrying my prince charming, after all! And surely to goodness we'll have our interview in time for our wedding. It's a little over 5 months away. But an earlier date would be awesome. There is so many layoffs and it's hard to even get a teaching job in kentucky. Too much politics involved for me! Around here it's all about who you know if you want to be a teacher. He's got the most stunning blue eyes(somehow they don't come out right in pictures) so I'd love to have a little boy with those crazy blue eyes just like his daddy. I can't wait to be a mommy. Here lately it's been getting worse. I think I've just hit that stage in my life where I feel it's time. But of course, were gonna be responsibile parents and wait until were financially stable before making little Mathew and Kaylas. He said he wants our little girl to look like me. His profession pays him very high. The only problem is our economy and that we're not sure when he'll land that job. Besides, I was raised to not rely on anyone, to make my own money. I just happen to think that my mommy duties are more important than my pride. So I'll settle for working on the weekends and hanging out all week with my child. I want to be a wildlife biologist. BUT, I refuse to work after we have children for a while. So I'm completely unsure of if I'll finish, or if I'll get to use it once I am finished. What I've decided to do is go back to school(or change my major) and go for photography. As much as I'm paying my photographer($1900), I'd me making a killing on it. I figure I can stay at home with the baby during the week and doing weddings and stuff on the weekends that way Mathew can take care of her(we want a girl!). We're reading Jurassic Park for my English class and we have to write an argument paper about it. This is what the whole class is based upon, writing this paper. Now you tell me how I'm supposed to get into this book enough to find a SPECIFIC quotation that I want to base my paper on? When I'm reading I'm going to be constantly looking for this stuff, and I'm not going to really get interested in the book enough for something to just jump out at me because I'll be afraid I'll get too interested and then miss it completely. I mean, really, I'm going to end up writing this thing on "Malcolm went to the bathroom with the dinosaur" or something. Ugh. Whatever happened to doing punctuation assignments and writing papers on what you did for summer? I guess at my 3 year of college it was bound to change at one point or another, lol.
