Hi VJers,

I am flying with my fiance to Seattle on April 3. We're on delta and the flight leaves Manila at 840am. We will be flying in from Davao the night before around 5pm. Recommendations on what I should do for a night? She also needs to pick up her CFO sticker at NAIA. They are supposed to be open 530am-midnight. I am not sure if Delta would let me check in the bags ahead of time (night before). I really don't wanna blow extra money on a room for a few hours. Need that money for the wedding. HELP!


im confused why does she needs to pick up her CFO sticker at NAIA?? she need to get that in CFO Quirino and not in NAIA :unsure:

Hi,
My fiancee wants to do her St Luke's medical and do her CFO at PRISM during the week of April 12-16. She says that week is some kind national Holy Week? I emailed St Luke's and PRISM to see if they're open that week. They haven't responded. Does anyone here on VJ know if those places are closed that week? Thx!!


im pretty sure they're closed on april 1 & 2 and april 9 also cause its "araw ng kagitingan" or "day of valour"

My wife will be attending the seminar at PRISM tomorrow morning, and then registering with the CFO.

From experience, is there anything she should have that is not listed on the website when she goes there?

Also, our NSO Certified Marriage Certificate was taken during her interview at the US Embassy. What we have now is the original marriage certificate (and photocopies) from the municipal hall in which we were married. Is this acceptable?

And one more thing... What is the Immigrant Data Summary for US bound?

1. my fiance doesn't have her vaccination card but she is very sure she had all her vaccinations....should I be super worried for her medical exam???

2. Also I have no idea what the poverty line here in Califronia USA is but I make $22,000 a year, with life insurance, and a few assets (like a car)....do you think I will pass for the affidavit of support?

I met my boyfriend online and he is coming here to Manila next week. He is flying Continental all the way. Are there any special instructions or tips we should know? For example, I know for domestic flights, PAL charges a terminal fee of 200 PHP. Will NAIA charge my boyfriend for something similar? Would it be a good idea for me to send him local currency through Western Union?

I went to PAL ticket office at cubao yeterday!!..and thank god..i got it nw..they explain me about waiver..its been attach to my ticket been canceled coz of no CFO..and it has a penalty of 25$..1,139 in peso...and i pay too for PH tax of 1,620 pesos..they sched my flyt on the 14th..same hour same flyt number.. if your fiancee stayed/work outside the philippines for more than 6 months then she need a police clearance but if she never been out of the country NBI clearance is fine

It depends where did you bought your ticket...my cousin work in international airport in manila before if you buy ticket here in the philippines you will pay travel tax...but if you will buy ticket in US youwill just pay terminal fee...


hmm parang baliktad yata yan usually when you purchase an e-ticket travel tax is not included yet but if you purchase your ticket locally like in any travel agent sa pinas or PAL they include na the travel tax pag nagbayad ka kaya pag dating mo ng NAIA ung terminal fee na lng ang babayaran mo correct me if im wrong people :unsure:
