Good morning ladies Friday, Friday , Friday and I want to play cuz the big boss is gone but my boss is playing :bonk: :bonk: even more so I got helllla work to do from him. :o

My mom sent this to me this morning (L) (F) (F) (F)

"Shout; then the wall…will fall down." Jos 6:5 NKJV
Shout!
Are you fighting a battle you’re afraid you won’t win? Who are you depending on: God or yourself? When faced with the combined armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, God told His people Israel, "The battle is not yours, but God’s" (2Ch 20:15 NIV). And God’s never lost a battle yet! He told Joshua, "I have delivered Jericho into your hands" (Jos 6:2 NIV). Notice, He didn’t say, "I will deliver" or "I might deliver." No, He said, "I have delivered Jericho into your hands!" Israel already had the victory, now they were being called to act on it. But the question remained, how? God’s answer was "Shout." Joshua told the Israelites, "When you hear…the trumpets…give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and [you] will go…straight in" (Jos 6:5 NIV). Now no rational person would expect a shout, no matter how loud, to bring down the walls of a big city. But this was no ordinary shout; it was a shout of faith based on a promise God had made. Even though victory looked impossible, when Israel shouted God responded by bringing down the walls and opening the doors to the Promised Land. When you’re looking for an open door and all you can see is a brick wall, the last thing you feel like doing is shouting "victory," right? But you need to do it regardless, because:
(1) the shout of praise leads to victory;
(2) it puts your faith "on the record;"
(3) it confounds the enemy and robs him of two of his greatest weapons: doubt and discouragement;
(4) obedience, even when you don’t understand, always brings results.
So shout - for the victory is yours!

AMEN!!!!

Good morning, everyone & Happy Friday!

KJ, the first time I read your pastor story, I didn't think anything of what the pastor said. But then when I read it out loud to Steven, I was like... hold up! :o I wonder if he was joking or if it just didn't come out exactly as he meant.

Yesterday, Steven got not one but TWO parking tickets. Both from the same officer for the same thing. He's working today, tomorrow, & Sunday, too. I suggested that instead of fooling with the parking meters, find a lot & pay one flat price all day.

He thought I'd be SO MAD at the fact that I'm going through so much effort to save money & he racked up 2 parking tickets his first time downtown. I surprised him by being calm & matter-of-fact about it. "We'll just have to find it in the budget" is all I said.

Awe that sucks! I am glad you stayed calm about it, I probably would have flipped.

I wish you God's richest blessings on your special day.

Awe Thank you, that is so sweet.

Hi Ladys,
Just wanted to thank everyone for the prayers . I am still in JA. however we went to the interveiw on the 10th at 9:10 AM everything was smooth at that point took about 5 minutes to get called up to the window, then the lady reviewed our documents sent us (my fiance to window 17 for finger prints). came back to the previous window and told us to have a seat. 2 minutes later the gentleman at the window called my fiance up to the window there he asked how we met, when we met , Has he met my parents, do I have a problem with him having a child from a previous relationship, the asked for my fiance's passport, he also asked for my fiance's letter from when he was in the states which was over a year ago (we did not have this document as we did not think it was necessary) however to make a long story short the guy gave us a blue slip told me me I did not have to be ther for that appointment and once we have the document to call for the interview, we got home pulle dthe letters and calle dthe number 13 US dollars for a pin and have a new date of December 10th.

Well God's timing is always right so I we will just keep our heads up til then.

Best wishes to anyone going for interviews soon, and hopefully you will get the blonde lady as she seems to just reveiw the documents ask 1 or 2 questions and pprove people.

Well thank God that is all you need. Dec. 10th will be here in no time so just focus on getting the house ready for his arrival because your man soon come. rose.gif

Always it looks pretty good to me. Its seems like all you need is the letter which you have and then they will stamp the APPROVED stamp on your paperwork. Stay positive like you are doing I think everything is going to be fine. Dec 10th is right around the corner and I think you still will have enough time to get him here before Xmas.

Enjoy the rest of your trip in JA. It might be the last time you BOTH are there for a while.

Thanks DADA I appreciate it

Is it just me, or is there a hmmmmmmmmmmmm about this picture?

There is a definite hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm about that picture - But I have seen plenty of people who have done it - I grew up with cousins whose parents stayed married bc divorce was "against their religion" and they "stayed together for the kids" - but had affairs. Every LAST one of my cousins has had major issues - whether it was relationships, drugs, whatever - if you don't want to be with the person anymore, you need to clean up your own house before you start moving on to the next one.

AMEN to that SUS couldn't have said it better

Good Morning Everyone,

Philly my prayers go out to you and your family, I hope you got through to your family although I know the phones have been flooded or not working. I have many friend that have been affected by this earthquake as well.

Dens- Best wishes I know you have the approval in the bag. Sam and Rasta best wishes to you too.

Brooke- I understand what you are saying, The adjustment is a little easier for me because I always had to compromise with my 3 brothers but for the most part I still always did and got what I wanted (Spoiled being the only girl) and now with Odean here its great but there are times I just want to get up and go and now I cant just do that.

Cara- I know your wedding will be fabulous. I am still going through the last minute prep for our Wedding next month which is quickly approaching.

Everyone have a wonderful blessed day!

Welcome! Yes you found us! We here. Yes they stopped accepting e-mail attachments. Did you mail the DS-230 as well? I actually scanned in the form after my fiance signed it and sent it back to me. I sent an e-mail with the body of the e-mail advising that I wanted a date on xx/xx/2010 and then I also mailed the docs to the Embassy as well. I stayed on them every other day with e-mails and finally we got Package 4, with the interview letter!

Hi Bunz! You don't have much longer now for your interview date! I'm so ready to rock this thang on out next week!

Dens I know you are ready.. time is going so quickly now.

I've been trying to find this thread FOREVER!!!!
First of all Hi everyone, I'm trying to read ll the pages so I can get to know you guys and fit right in, is that ok with y'all??? I been in the september filers thread and was not aware there were so many jamaicans.
I need help (yes, already)
How in the world do you email the ds-230? First of all the form isn't saving on my computer, it keeps saying that it can't be saved. Second, I sent another edition by email as an attachment and they emailed me back saying they DON'T open attachments and that I have an appointment for Feb 2, 2010 @ 1pm. That's 4 weeks from now, I didn't understand if they meant an appointment to drop off ds-230 or a interview appointment so I replied and asked them to clarify but they haven't responded yet.

Hello and welcome,

As Den stated they do not accept attached copie os the DS 230 you can scan it and address the date that you would prefer the interview to be around when you email make sure to place in the subject line 3 rd or 4th request other wise you will be waiting forever.

wrong response
i thought you were CR1
you will get a correct response soon

Good Evening Bunz,
are you ready for your interview??

Good Morning Yardies......

:help: ...My husband really ticked me off last night. I am trying to get all of the paper works in order to send off the AOS by the end of this month. He left his Birth Certificate & Vaccination Records in JA. Thank god someone came from JA on Monday so we have them but his mon forgot to send one of the shot records. She did send the one with the shhots he got at his medical. So I asked my husband? G what 2 shots did they say you needed to get? His reply: I dont know, the woman wrote it on a paper and I dont know what I did with it. Ok this is where I gat mad because things like this you need to be more aware of. Then he said to me "WHATS THE BIG DEAL" :bonk:   I just lost it a bit and now he thinks im being unfair. I told him this process is very stressful and the least he could do is to be involved. I do not want to be running around like a damn chicken without a head. I will give him the quiet me for a little longer. .

So will the clinic be able to tell what 2 shots he need?

Thanks Yardies

C
I feel you Last night my man ticked me off as well, just stupidness I do not know, may be it is just me. He is so frigin passive it starting to drive me crazy, but I still love him (L)
Anyway Good Morning Everyone ,
