EdwardClement, if you look at Igors list, it seems as if RFE's can be issued and NOA2's sent as soon as 2 weeks after the RFE. I'm sure it depends on how long it takes for you to respond. Hoping for the best for you and yours.

I'm so happy right now.. just hope it gets through NVC and the Embassy in a timely fashion!

The mean tier 2 rep that I got the last two times sucked. I'll try again tomorrow. I think I'll keep calling and asking for a tier 2 that will put it a service request.

Sigh.

Although I must say VSC processing 10 on one day is pretty impressive. There's some hope.

And some of the filers got approved 9/26 most of them were line of 20's, and why they were not issued before that filing date?why they dont give info on the mid filers for that month? what are the rules of getting approved? i guess they will start the last week of the month going to the first week? hahahha....i don't really understand their steps of getting approval...i was thinking that they will give info from first come first serve...

Just got off the phone from my fiance,and it was so frustrating guys...he was so angry with the staff there in uscis, and he was just expressing how bad he felt the processing...he was told by a lady who answered his calls and saying that we are March filer and right now they are still doing the Feb filers specifically Feb.27..so she advised us to wait another month to get another feedback? wow..what a hell they are doing .... :bonk:

ya - ask yer fiance if he has a formletter, I-797-C form, from USCIS.

On it, is a receipt number, and a notice date.

What's the notice date?

Just to clarify, is it the Assembled I-129F Package you sent last March 2010? When your fiancee sent it through USPS, did you pay for delivery confirmation? Usually that's the best way you could tell if they've received it.

hello everyone....

i am just newly member here, and i want to know how long will it takes after forwarding the k-1 petition..my fiancee forwarded our papers last march 2010 and until now we never heard any feedback on it..and how we will know if they received it coz my fiancee keeps on follow up and then they keep on telling us that they are on processed..and to let you know that was our second time application coz the first time it was misplaced by then and they advised us to re apply it again and put a covered to expedite it coz that was their faults..so how will it takes?so still hoping that it will be soon coz my fiancee needs me there coz he is now suffering his surgery and no one can take good care of him..i hope i can hear a positive feedback...godbless...

is there any march or april filers who did not received their NOA1?

hello fellow members here,

Is there any members on March or april filers here who did not received there NOA1? coz i want to know what are those possibilities why it takes for this long? When my fiance follow up last 2 weeks they told him that they need to returned the payment and pay it back coz the first time he paid they were not able to deposit the check so they need to returned it..then my fiancee received the returned check last thursday then he pay back last friday then it would be 1 week now..my question is how many days did the check will be cashed? and is there any possibilities that u can received the NOA1 even the checked has not yet cashed?or it depends on the checked until it will be cashed so u can received ur NOA1..Pls any idea about this situation? help........

USCIS may not have realised they didn't meet within the last two years. The "meeting in person in the last two years" requirement is pretty absolute, I only know two cases where it was waived. They will need to meet and start again- having met AFTER the petition was filed does not count.

I got a 221g form and they did not asked more documents and i have a visa after 7 days of my interview. Its very confusing why they refused the petition? Is it all about not meeting in person in 2 years prior to the requirements?If yes,she will in big trouble! They should meet in person again and provide an evidence of meeting and apply again! Maybe this is the best way they can do.

really? but after the issuance of your 221g, did they returned passport?yes that was her waiver...221g of not meting in person for the past 2yers prior they filed...so what if her F will be here, then can they re-schedule her interview?

Hi...in behalf of my friend i just want to share the result of her interview ..She was having an interview last Oct.11 under K1 and her visa was said refused and and the consul issued waiver to her saying " 221g for not meting in person for the past 2 yrs prior they filed the petition",the question was, Why the service center never issued RFE to them? and why the embassy did that?..she just confused and she ask an advise now. She just let me post it here on her behalf...any advise here ?thank you so much

Did the embassy gave her a 221g form? I never read here that they deny a k1 visa instead asking more papers. Did they gave back the passport to her? I felt sorry for her.
