hmmm i mean uscis needs like 6-7months to approve the noa2 and then it depends on the embassy in her country.
dont know how it is in russia how fast they working. after u got the no2 it can take 1 months or 2 months thats what i heared from friends.

NVC Still Didn't Issue case Number

you have to remind they talking bout buisness days thats monday-friday and then easter were so holiday and less working days.
we got our noa2 on april 5th and on april 29th i got finally the letter from the embassy.give them some time cuz it needs to be send out from the nvc to ur embassy and they need some days to. 3-4weeks is normal for it

i did that. while our case was still pending in the usa i had to move and i was sooo worried i dont get my package 3. because i couldnt let the embassy know until i had a case number from them
but i got my package cuz i did a mail respond at the post office in germany. so all my mail what gets send to my old addy gets forward to ym new addy from the mail.
i think u can do it in the uk as well..so u should be all good

with the living thing. i moved a lot as well lol and i put everything in it. if u need more space u can use a extra page to fill it out. i would put it what u know.

the most important thing when u fill out these forms is to be HONEST. dont give them any reason to deny ur visa. so be honest and fill it out as much u can.

hey,

with ur print of the form its not a problem. the embassy doesnt save every print. so they just see the barcode u send to them. so no worries.

as fpr ur skype thing sorry i dont really know how to print it.just try and go under help with skype. just in case to bring different proof as well like print out emails and show pictures or cards u send each other for christas and v-days

i wrote on my I-129F i put berlin in it and it has to be in frankfurt.
and i didnt had any problem with it cuz they send it automatic to frankfurt. so i think its gonna be ok.
with ur medical idk how it works in canada. but u should check out the american embassy site for canada it should say it on the website.
and with ur pass. it has to be 6month after u travel in the states available. so u have to make a new one either way

Are you saying that he has 2 part time jobs, neither is full time employment.

If that is the case, then this is why the CO is requesting a co-sponsor.

hey guys thanks all for ur feedback and info.

yeah we have a really hard time to find a co sponsor. the ppl who wanna do it dont hit the minimum cuz they have kids and then add me to the household as well makes the minimum way higher. and the ppl who could help us have some concern cuz it is a responsibility.
so we really dont know what to do.

yeah with his tax return he didnt hit the minimum by like 1000 dollar. so we called the uscis and they said when we increase the income with a second job it all will work out..
so my hubby had a second job and got way way more hours and he already hits the minimum way over know. but the officer at the interview thought no.

we really thinking all changes and options thru right now.

hi guys.
i had today my k1 visa interview in frankfurt germany. and first everything went fine and during the interview as well and suddenly the officer said, that my fiance doesnt make enough money.
yeah he didnt quite hit the tax minimum but we got job letter from his second job and we were able to show he increased his income like a lot. this year tax retrun he gonna hit the minimum way over. but still for the officer it wasnt enough.
she told me we need a co sponsor, fill out the paper send them in and i get my visa.
our problem is just we so dont find a co sponsor. so not really a change for us.
my question is how long do we have to if god helps us find a co sponsor or show the new tax return??? cuz we dont wanna apply for the WHOLE k1 visa again.
can someone let me know do we have a year or less ???

we a lil desperate right now and my mood aint the best.
im really and very thankful for any advise or help. thank you all so much

His brother and his brother's wife can combine income with each other because they are qualifying relatives of each other, and they live together. One of them can be a sponsor and the other can be a contributing household member. However, unless your fiance is living with his brother then neither his brother nor his brother's wife can combine income with your fiance. Assuming his brother and his brother's wife don't have any kids, and also assuming there are no K2 visas involved, their household size would be 3. Is their combined income enough for a household size of 3 - $23,162?

For others reading - don't count on this approach working at your consulate. Most consulates won't accept an I-864A with an I-134.

i called the them twice and asked if they still can combine there income even my fiance doesnt live with his brother. the case worker said it still gonna work and his brother and the wife can both apply for a co sponsor. both of them have to file the I-134 form and sign it or one of them files the I-134 form and the other one the I-864A..they have kids and each of them makes like 21.000 a year. so together they would hit the minimum.
and i explaind it to the case worker on the phone and he said its still fine. he never heared bout u cant combine the income cuz they relatives to my fiance.

hu u all my dears. i posted like a day ago a topic bout how my visa interview went and that we got kinda deniad for the k1 visa cuz my fiancee didnt hit the minimum but increased his income but the officer thought it wasnt enough .

and the brother from my hubby and his wife would love to be the co sponsor and could hold me on there income and hit the minimum together.
so i searched the internet yesterday all day and it looked like nope it wont work cuz it says u cant combine ur income. so first we were all desperate and thought damn another stone in our road.
but today i called my case worker and had some questions and asked him if it would be possible and he said yup no problem.
both have to fill out the I-134 form and sign it and maybe even fill out the I-864a form just in case and show there tax return and w2´s...

so now im all lil confused. but i think when our case worker says its ok and will work he might be right cuz he gonna approve our case or??

anyone any idea or experience on it????

If this is the case, the consular officer would almost certainly disregard the alimony as income. You should also make sure you've got your terminology straight. Alimony is often paid until the recipient dies or remarries. Spousal support often has a fixed term. Are you sure you're not receiving spousal support instead of alimony?

It is Rehabilatative alimony that is guaranteed for 4 years. Remarrying or anything else has no affect on it. It is paid to continue education for the term of 4 years.

NEED HELP I-134 Advice

I have not worked for the last 3 years because my ex wife and I had reversed roles and I was staying at home homeschooling our daughter. So I have no tax returns showing I made any income for the last 3 years. However I own my own home and auto and have $50k in the bank and I have a court ordered Alimony for $20 a year for the next 4 years. But all I am hearing that I will still likly get turned down becuase I am filing in the philippines.

Can someone help? Is there anything amount of money or assets that can offset not having past 3 years income tax? To start with I have not found anywhere on the I-129F or the I-134 or I-864 that last 3 years incomce tax is even required? More less $20k is above the poverty line and many websites says real estate and cash saving should be able to offset income if it is too low. Can someone give me some info on Manila and how strict they are on the I-134 and what I can do to make sure this is not a problem. I am very worried and stressed about this and driving me crazy

Visa Service or Do it yourself? Manila Embassy

Just wanted to find out if people think when dealing with the Manila Embassy. Is there an advantage going with a K-1 visa service, if so which ones are the best or should you jsut file it yourself? I have noticed from others time lines that many get approved in 4 or 5 months while average is 8 months or longer.

Just looking for any advice on best way to file for it to run smooter and to be approved as quick as possible.

Have heard the Manila Embassy is much harder than most places in the world. I knew nothing of the process. When I went to the philippines I did not save anything or take enough pictures together with my finacee. Currently changeing carrer. So very worried on how to document the relastionship and to prove finicial support is enough when I am just starting back to work. Don't have any taxible income for last 3 years.

Is the G-325a Need when Filing the I29F??

Yes, you need the G-325a for BOTH of you. No need for a copy of the beneficiary's passport...but you need passport style PHOTO (picture) of her. You will need the passport before the interview.

Ok I think I am ready to send in the K-1 Visa app today.
Just a few quick questions.

How many Emails should I send?
How many months of phone bills?
How many pics?
How many of what things did others send for proof of relationship?
I had read where others send Tax forms but I did not see anything about that in the guides.

RFE to 2NOA

Wow, we are in the exact same situation! August filers(VSC), Waited till March just to get RFE, Responded back right away, Got RFE receipt from VSC on March 11, and now still waiting for VSC to do something.
Yeah, i was told by many people that after you send in the required documents for RFE that you should be approved in about 2 weeks. But yet again VSC disappoints! I think that is our first problem. Yeah, it does says that we should hear something within 60 days....Monday will be 30 days...I was planning on sending them an email to see if i can get any sort of response. Also have to see how all this Government shutdown goes.
I did see another fellow August filer approval on Igor's list a couple days ago. Just hope our approval comes quickly. Otherwise i will have to plan a trip just so that we stay in the "seeing in person within the last 2 years" requirement! Wasn't planning on another trip....but i also didn't think we would be waiting over 8 months just for an NOA2 for a K1 visa.

It does cover various types of Visa, and there's alot of information, but worth the read...

One thing to note is: -

Once you have applied for AOS, (at which time you have concurrently applied for an EAD), if you have not received an adjudication within 90 days then you are apparently entitled to an interim EAD...

As always, there is a 'but' coming

If at any time during the 90 days, (the clock starts when they receive your filed forms), you receive an RFE, the clock stops, and will start over upon receipt of the requested evidence... unfortunately any time already passed is then disregarded, and will be 90 days again, so I guess the tip there is triple check everything to avoid an RFE...

As much as I would love to sound super knowledgeable... alas, I have to give credit to ***removed***, I just thought I would paraphrase some of the important stuff to save you some time :whistle:

Medical Screening??

My fiance and I submitted the I-129F on March 28th, should we go ahead and start some of the medical screening stuff even though we haven't gotten an appointment at the embassy yet? I know the website says to wait until you have an appointment with the embassy but with how slow things can run in Costa Rica I'm afraid if we don't start ahead of time we're going to get an interview before we get all the medical done! Any suggestions?
