IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Apply for a visa while waiting for his visa	We've been waiting for over three months for my husbands immigration visa, we were wondering if we can apply for a visitor/tourist visa so we can see each other while we wait. Does any one know if this is possible and if it is how would we go about doing this considering the U.S. embassy in Cairo has his passport? thanx for any help Sorry to say because he is trying to get an immigration visa, he doesn't qualify for any other kind of visas at this time. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	need advice / dont trust my husband anymore	Wow that is a sticky situation. As far as supporting your husband, regardless if you do separate or divorce, you are financially responsible for him for 10 years. Since he isn't here with you yet, I would definitely make sure you are 100% sure you want him here. What if you tell your husband that you want the phone number of the ex in NY so you can talk to her yourself? Of course you will be getting all kinds of "you don't trust me" from your husband. I haven't really formally introduced myself yet, my name is Stacey. This is actually my second time going through the process. My fiancee and I cancelled the first time, two years ago, because we did not feel we were quite ready yet. So, I know to expect a wait for NOA2, hopefully not as long as last time. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Frustruated	believe me 30-45 days is nothing, i just filed my petition for a second time for my fiance, we cancelled the first one two years ago because we were not ready. two years ago, the waiting time was a lot longer. we waited 6 months just for NOA2.....i think you should be very thankful for a projected wait time of 30-45 days....i know it is hard, but if you just try and keep your mind occupied, the time will fly by.
