K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	G325a photos	we are doing the cr1, and are sending our i-130, as with the k1, we have to send us passport style photos. my photos were sent to my wife, usc dated 8th Oct. so, they have to reach the uscis by 8th nov. does anyone know if the '30 rule' is strict and we could get an rfe is it reeaches them on day 32 or so? thanks. How are the photos dated? Is there some sort of notation on them? i think its just my writing - "10/8/06" and my signature. Well, since the date was written on the back, they have an idea of when it was taken. If it gets to them past the 30 day mark they have a reason to send a RFE. That is the USCIS for you. Hopefully for you though, you will have an adjudicator who will just see that it took a little while for the package to reach them, that's all, and everything will be ok. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	CSC APPLICANTS STOP GETTING EXCITED WHEN YOU GET NOA2s	My point is that the excitement should be tempered until the file leaves CSC. Of course at that point I did not know that the file would take almost another month to leave CSC..its 3 weeks today. Mine took not even 2 weeks for NVC to recieve it and send it to the Consulate. I guess the wait time just depends on the petition I guess. It's still ok to get excited whether it takes a week or a month to have it forwarded. I see on your back posts that you seemed pretty excited when you recieved your NOA2 I was so excited when I got mine! I think people should be excited over each step taken that gets them closer to the visa. It took me 6 months just to get a NOA2, do you think I am going to let the fact that NVC held my case for another month take that excitement away, NO, I was still just as excited that my case had been approved and that I was one step further than I had been before. People just need to be excited if they want to be excited and don't let negative vibes bring them down. After all, having a postive attitude during a process like this can help out a lot. I am needing to withdraw my I-129F Petition for someone reason or other so when I write to the location that is currently working on my forms, Do I need to give them a reason for my withdraw or can I just send in say I just wish to no longer pursue this route? There was some crazy story about his fiance on a chicken farm somewhere in Viet Nam ( I think ) with his cell phone that would not call him. It was completely bizarre and only got worse as time progressed. It was definitely a delusion of grandeur (suffering hero ). Welcome back JV. We love you. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Can someone plz help??	We received our RFE by snail mail today! We are curious for those of you who have had to do this as well. When you returned your RFE, did you only put the evidence in the envelope provided by USCIS or did you put that envelope into a brown envelope. We are sending quite a lot. What are their specifications on how they receive this information? I thought I read on a post here that you can place the information in a brown envelope but you must mark it a certain way. He tried to blame it on IMBRA etc. We just received the RFE today by snail mail. I have no idea why they did not send it to the attorneys office but we are SO HAPPY that USCIS sent it to us. We are now wishing we would have never hired this attorney either. He even posts on his web page that they DON'T receive RFE's. Unbelievable isn't it? We consider ourselves very fortunate to be approved as quick as we were but I hardly believe that me being a female has anything to do with the processing time. I was told to use this really good lawyer in CA for a k1 visa. well they filled out all the papers and said they sent it out in july and charge me $1000 Well for 4 months i have not hear anything, no check cash from INS no info on anything in-till 11/9. I got the packet back from the INS. The lawyer used the outdated I 129 F forms and to update the form and mail it back. So the lawyer is going to mail me a new form filled out so i can re-mail it, Also i found some other info errors like wrong address, wrong ex wife last name which the lawer fixed but its got me thinking. So i called another lawyer that my friend used and she said she would charge me $2500 to redo the paper work to make it sure it done right, I have called more lawyers and gotten so many different answers i don't know who to believe. One lawyer said the only way to bring a girl back from colombia was to married her there and fill out the forms for a wife. Another one said that colombia is the hardest place to get a K1 visa. I am not sure if they are trying to scare me to pay them $2500 to have it done. So my question is. Do i check the new form over and put the packet together again and mail it out my self or should i pay a lawyer $2500 which i really don't have to have a piece of mine and make sure there will be no more problems? I wasted 4 months and already really mad about it, Everything i read i line i have in packet, pictures, phone calls airline tickets, I 129F G325A both birth certificates. her baptismal certificate I-134 affidavit of support three years of tax forms Please let me know if i need a lawer or i can do this without anouther one. Hello, I have read some topics and found some of them receive a note saying they mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Do you receive this by email? I have also see in there timeline that there check was cashed after they receive this note. I through you had to wate intill they cash you check to get the number off the back. I mail my 129f to Texas on 11-22 and have not had anything yet but tracking number saying they got it on 11-24. I try to sign up on the gov web site but you have to enter the Receipt Number to get any info. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Check cashed	I Mail my 129F out on nov 22 and Check my online bank acc Today and they cash my check and got my wac# off the back it was cashed on 12/1. I Check online and it said Nov 30th they receive 129F and it was pending and mailed me a notice. I mail my 129f to Texas and the online report said its in Califonia service center. .
