Don't say that!

We have to have faith - you do in the person you are with and want to marry.
Life is not fair but if we don't have faith, how will we make it through anything?

I'm sorry that you're waiting so long - I will also say a prayer for all of you. I'm NOT a religious person but if we don't have faith we have nothing.

Just joking.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFemale USC vs. Male USC
I would think it would be if the woman was much older (20+ years), right? Couldn't this set off a red flag. My fiance is from South America and a 1 1/2 yrs younger than me.
I'm not worried about that - I just wanted to know if it was more difficult for a woman USC than a male but doesn't seem to be overall.
Nice to know - thanks!

Thanks - I understand what you mean in the examples you gave. I'm not worried about my case - my fiance and I met while I was living in his country and we're about the same age.
I was hoping that no one had seen this before. It didn't seem a trend to me.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFemale USC vs. Male USC
I was browsing through some threads yesterday and found one where someone had stated that it takes more time for a female USC to be approved (vs. a male USC).
Does anyone know if this is true? Do the trends show this?
Just curious. Thanks, female USC

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresCSC/NSC/TSC Timelines are now posted
It's actually 8 that I know of because I know 2 couples that were approved in November - both Sept NOA1s. They don't use VJ and therefore their timelines are not included.
I hope that makes it a bit better...
Tomorrow marks 70 days since my NOA1 and I'm hoping/praying that I'm approved soon!

Hey, thanks for the info.
My NOA1 is actually from Sept, but our fingers are crossed - it's been 70 days.

Good luck to you too.

Thank you.
I didn't realize it was becoming an argument until someone made it that way. Therefore I decided not to respond.
I'm glad you don't see the big deal in it either.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresThe CSC and there ways
It's the name of the country: República Federativa do Brasil

I don't see what the big deal is - Brasil/Brazil
That's where I lived and where my love is from. (L)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresThe CSC and there ways
Brasil is the name of the country.

"there" used in that way is a big mistake and changes the meaning of the sentence (hey, I'm an English teacher, what can I say?)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures2+ months since NOA1 and no touches yet?
Normal. I'm at day 71 and I had 2 touches in the beginning and a meaningless one (response - or rather not to an email) a month ago.
A friend of mine was approved with no updates (touches) to her case.
Check your mailbox too.
Good luck to us.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresG-325A Form help
You can always have a supplemental page if there is not enough room. I had to do that because addresses in Brasil can be very long.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresG-325A Form help
When you complete the first page on Adobe the next 3 are automatically completed with the same answers. You each have to sign 4 pages.
They're not exactly the same in the sense that each page goes somewhere differently so you need to sign all 4.
If you have a supplement for one page then you should include it for each page.
Hope this makes sense.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresAnother August Approval!
Yea, I had a touch which turned out to be CSC emailing me to tell me that they won't respond to an email I sent them. Not much of a touch!
But you never know - if it's been over 2 months it could.

Good luck!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHow Many Sept Filers Are Manically Checking For Touches?
I'm another one - September 18th was my NOA1.
I check once and awhile but now I realize that people are approved with no update change, no touches, no e-mails and then their NOA2 in the mail.
Therefore, I guess I'll find out some way and maybe it will be a (wonderful) surprise.
I noticed alot of action in the beginning of Nov. for Sept NOA1s.

Good news: I know one couple (NOA1 9/6) and another (NOA1 9/11) be approved 11/16 and 11/20 respectively.
I hope we have more NOA2s by the end of the month!
Good luck to everyone.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresTSC, how can I find out....
If you look at my signature it shows that I mailed my package out on 9/6 and didn't hear back from CSC until 9/18 - a week after it was received by TSC.

You could call USCIS but it seems that it would be better to use the legal name of your fiance's father because it does not ask for birth name.

You know I did doubt but I have a friend who is becoming a mambo in vodou and told me to pray. I did make special requests and both of them were answered.

That is exactly what my fiance did! And he signed 4 copies of one version and 4 copies of another version because I didn't know. I also made one up for myself.
I forgot to write when we were unemployed. I didn't fill in the gaps and we were still approved.
As far as proof: we sent a little of everything.
I hope this helps someone else!!

Now off the NVC...

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresThank you St Expedite
I need to tell you all that when I sent out this application in September that I said a prayer to St. Expedite asking that he ensure my application approved quickly and without RFE.
Although after I mailed it out and I found a few "mistakes" and even had my fiance sign and fill out papers just in case - we did NOT receive an RFE. My case was approved in 72 days.
I am very grateful and believe that it was him.
Believe it or not I want to share this with you. :D

Thank you so much for your support!
