Looking at the VJ Timeline List, this is the no of k1 filings every month Dec' 08 - 123 Jan' 09 -124 Feb' 09 - 142 Mar' 09 - 149 Apr' 09 - 114 May' 09 - 96 Jun' 09 - 78 The filings spiked during Feb & Mar, not sure why and the no's are way down for May and June. It is possible that people haven't signed up yet for May and June. I think if they get past Feb & March filings, which I think they did, they should move faster to us. So please take it for whatever it's worth, just my 2 cents. I don't want a multi million dollar suit on me for this The numbers are down, but they grow the closer we get to NOA2's.. there have been 30 or so new June filers added here in the past month... I like the fact that April filers are getting approved.. 7 this week... and I checked one of the timelines before it got updated and they were approved today but the estimate had them to be approved late next month... we should see the first non-expedited June filers before the end of Sept. You are 336 on Berkeley Thanks, always thought the Igor list was a bit outdated because it list hundreds of folks that have not posted in months; I would guess most of the very old NOA1 have either been canceled or approved. Not true.. many of those are having a more thorough investigation and take longer... the berkeley list shows where you stand based on a normal approval time... They updated the VSC processing times yesterday and that is now reflected in the berkley Igors list... .. I moved over 60 spots from where I was a day or so ago... I suspect the expected NOA2 dates in our timelines should shift a bit in the coming day or two.. They have been doing a better job getting the applications processed and I would not be surprised if we see close to 40 or more for the week... I would have to get an NOA2 by next month to see a christmas visa, best case... it really depends on how fast we can get through VSC and then how fast the consulate can get us through that end... every consulate is different.... it takes a couple of weeks to get from USCIS to the consulate w/o AP.. and here is a link to see what times are normal at the consulate.. recent consulate stats past 90 days I hadn't seen that link yet. The Lima embassy is only averaging 28 days. WOW. I better have my stuff ready to go. That will be a rush. The sooner you respond to Pkg 3 the sooner you get interview... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June '09 Filers	I saw a June VSC filer post that they got an email from USCIS.. the email said approved I-129... wow.. in less than 2 months... then we all realized that it was an error on the part of USCIS and they sent the email to the wrong address.... I really feel for the person that got that email.. as if this ordeal isnt painful enough... I had a glimmer of hope that we could get NOA2 before October/November... Next week we should be out... they have been averaging between 30 and 40 days for Actual AP's and not just a delayed forwarding like some have seen.... If the file is there and has not been sent out.. they say AP regardless of the real status... so KIKE just got through AP in 5 days.. that was not AP it was really just a delayed forwarding of the file to the consulate. These FBI checks that they do in AP are not done in 5 days... usually when the FBI check is done, then it takes 5 days or so for the file to get forwarded out of NVC. A few weeks ago people were calling NVC and asking for a supervisor... and if the supervisor said you are in AP thats all I can say... expect to be there for another week... if they said call back on # day.. then the FBI check was completed and the file was getting ready to ship... I am down to calling 2 or 3 times a week now... 42 days until we are together again... I feel bad for Thuy now because she has some family mmbers that are not in the best of health... its not easy to get Advanced Parole right away after she arrives here so if something happens to them in the 6 months or so after she gets here... now may be the last time she is able to see them... The family is all going to visit them this weekend... I know that will be rough on her but a least her father realized the possibility and setup this trip for them to have some time together.... They said I am in AP and there is no timeframe for this. He said it is usually an FBI background check and that it takes as long as it takes and there is nothing absolutly nothing that can be done to speed it up... And after it gets through there is no way to expedite to make up any lost time from waiting... He said he has seen them take more than a year to get done when in AP and lately it is only a month or so... 3 weks today.. I expect another week or so... then 2 months more for the interview.. Same story every day.. your case is undergoing additional processing.. no estimated timeline for this process is available. I am thinking the interview will be next year at this point... at least I will be there in 48 days... so there is a plus.... Your case was sent to NVC and should be on its way to the consulate soon as long as you dont end up in AP like we did. If you call NVC they likely have already sent your case on to the consulate.
