IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	What factors determine the length of time between NOA1 and NOA2?	dont expect anything before August and you will be ok.. if you keep looking and hoping for something before then, it will take its toll on you... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Preparing to file Writ of Mandamus	I spoke with my friend earlier today, he informed me that he is going to meet with the lawyer and preparing to file a writ of madamus in the federal court. His case cr1 only has been in AP since January 2012, in Ho Chi Minh City. The lawyer fee will be $4000. It is a lot of money and besides his case in AP not that long. I told him that to be patient, soon or later your case will be completed. I also told him that the lawyer just wanted his money, does not matter with the outcome. I just hope that the case will be sucessfull. That is my opinion. What everyone think on this topic? Waste of $$$$$$ tell him to come here and read through the AP topic in the VN regional... average time in AP at HCMC is about 5 or 6 months... some more than a year and the writ wont do ####### for him but cost him $$$$.... we were in AP @ HCMC so I am speaking from experience... They may have someone call you another time.. it just usually been middle of the night for us day for them in the past... they may not do any checking at your end at all... could just be the two guys showing up around her home asking neighbors questions about you... My case has been in AP since January 18, 2012, it is very close to 6 months. I hope to hear something near future. We are pretty close, we talk every day. I will post if I receive news. The tipping point is when you get a phone call in the middle of teh night asking you questions, or if someone shows up at her work or her home asking questions... From then its usually only a month or two later before they give in... You should be hearing something in the next few months.. They said the symptoms for VAAD include frequent checking of email and igors list; and logging into USCIS website a minimum of 10 times in a single day. Vias Approval Anxiety Disorder is far more common that one would think The only drawback is the side effects of the medication... The cover page is an outline that corresponds to the tabs .. it lists everything that they noted in the pkt 4 that should be brought to the interview in that same order they listed. We were required to provide proof of bonafide relationship in two stages... pre engagement and post... the outlines look the same, but the content is a little different as there was far more saved after the engagement. Relax, your gonna give yourselves a stroke before you even get there LOL. If your really that worried and you want GUARANTEED approval, then go there and go to the interview with your fiancee. The interview is gonna last at most 3 minutes. My 1st wife's interview lasted 2 minutes. I been thru all of this already. Trust me your gonna give yourself an aneurysm. If your fiancee goes it alone without you, make sure he/she knows most of your personal life, like all about your job and what your mom and dad's name is. They will ask how you met, if you give pics of you and your family they will ask he/she the names and who they are in the pics, they will ask her if he/she really loves you. They can tell if he/she is lying, they are trained in techniques to tell by your reactions to questions. If they suspect and lie they will actually read copies of your emails/texts to eachother LOL so if you got anything juicy in there be ready to turn red LOL. Just relax, chillout, lol. I never got one on my NOA1 Yep, On the USCIS site the date of last activity will be different if you get touched... then... when you click on you EAC # and it says something other than pending.. booya.. something has happened... hopefully an approval and not an RFE I pray they got my supplement together with my filing so I dont get an RFE. if the date changed and it still says pending.. they are working on the file. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June '09 Filers	Wow!!! I got so much done today preparing the docs for the interview.. I may only be halfway done assembling them but the outline is all setup and I just need to print and fill in the blanks that I have setup already ... When I get it almost done I will post some pics of it.. I am really happy with how it is looking.... I took the pkt 4 to know exactly what is needed and created outlines that are the cover pages for sections that will be submitted. Each section containing tabbed pages corresponding to the outline. Decided to use ACCO fasteners. Far more detailed than I ever expected but it will make everything very easy for the CO and easy for me to assemble as time goes on.
