It always goes to NVC, even if the letter states that it is forwarded to the listed consulate. it might take upto 2 weeks for NVC to receive the documents. Is there a way to track it? How do you know it has been received by the NVC and sent to the ambassy? It's been 14days that we are waiting since we have received our NOA2. If yes, I am in the same boat than you and it is been 14 days. So we called the NVC, the French ambassy and the USCIS and without any result. I am waiting for answers. As soon as I hear something, I let you know. I know how tough it is... Unfortunately, I read somewhere that it has to be sent to the NVC and then, they send it to your ambassy or consulats. So, if I have understood everything, the process will last 4 additional months!!! but I don't understand why they have written that they have forwarded the I797 to "the listed consulate". K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	required documentation to bring for interview	When I sent my forms in by Loomis to the consulate (DS-230, DS-156, DS-156K, DS-160) I didn't print off other copies, but I saved them on my laptop. However, since then my computer has crashed and I lost about half my files. Unfortunately this included these forms other than some Word document continuation sheets which I attached to my forms before. I've seen that I need to bring in copies of these forms to my interview at Montreal (even though I already sent them copies...?). Do I require all of the forms? Or just the DS-156 (2 copies) and the confirmation page of my DS-160? I have filled them out again as best I can with my current information, not the information as it was when I last filled it out in early November. The difference is I was employed then, and am not now, and I have moved back in with my parents, thus a change in address there. And my fiance recently bought a house, thus the address I will be staying at in the U.S. has changed as well. My interview is tomorrow. If I don't get replies, I'm sure I'll be okay, but it would be nice to hear from people with more experience than I have! P.S. We also forgot to file a change of address form... cause we did not realise it was necessary after we received the NOA2. I hope that's not an issue. Thanks all! Philippines	VISA approved for Wife :) ticket purchase question	According to Philippines law, tickets for flights departing from the Philippines cannot be purchased from any region other than the Philippines. ?what is the usual way to purchase one way tickets to the US?  I am planning on traveling  to the Philippines next month, VIA Cebu,  for a short visit , then accompany my wife and son back to the US.  my normal travel agent has warns dmd about this Law . IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	putting together my I-130 package, do I need photo's	I realize that many people post questions for feedback regaridng items to include for proof of boni fide marrage.  So i will attempt to get some feedback to my situaiton.   I was actually seperated form my previous wife for nealry 8 years, filed for divorce and waas granted the divorce this past Sep 2012.   i am predicting that my courtship of my new wife may be in quesiton, as i was still legally married during the 18 month courtship before getting married. We were married in Dec of 2012, just 3  months after my divorce was finalized.  I have traveled to the philippines 4 times for  a total of 10 weeks in country.  We were married by a Judge, and I actualy went thru the whole official 10 day process before hand , attending all the required family planning classes and such. We have purchased property together, and although i cannot own property , I asked that my name be added to the bill of sale  and retain a copy of that bill of sale form the Camella Valley Corporation. So  other than the marrage contract, signed by a judge, and with the appropriate witensses required by law, The bill of sale for the property is the only Item I have. i was going to select a few picutures of my visits , how do I include them?  Print a few on normal picuture stock and attach with a paper clip? or is a normal 8 1/2 X11 paper , with multiple picures printed on it acceptable?	rebel	Not Telling	Philippines	2013-05-15 04:55:00

I had such problem when I went for my interview, NVC might say fine, but when you get to the embassy they will thick it that it doesn't  meet the requirement. Caribbean	lets discuss the elephant in the room...	There has been some family and friends who have cut me out of their life.... even a few I had to cut out. I have been told awful things by some. Those who loved me have stood by my side and are willing to give my spouse a chance and embrace my marriage. It is very hurtful for me that I was made to choose my husband or certain people in my life (which i was actually told to choose in one conversation)... but I have and will always choose my husband. I stand by my choice and accept the ramifications. Any time yo open yourself to love another there is potential to be hurt no matter age, color, nationality, social/economic status, ect.... so I think its best to live your own life and if you love someone not "ideal" to others let them decide to accept or they can leave. I am sorry and I understand your feelings since marriage on 12-12-12 I have been away from my husband. and all I can say is if you were given a certian amount of days for a decision on the wavier and havent received news I would call on it. Patience is one of the hardest virtues I know. There are nights where I just cry and it is hard to deal and I try to celebrate the little milestones. Sometimes all you need is to vent to a trusted friend or loved one. It drives you crazy to not know when you will receive the news you been waiting for, but soon you will be together, just remember soon this will all be a memory. Before long distance relationships only had mail or phone calls... now with new technology like skype and the variant forms I can see my husband everyday... this doesnt substitute his presence  but it eases some of the pain of separation. Not alot of people understand my situation in my life and are always asking why this takes so long to get my spouse here. Just take it one day at a time and be so happy you are a day closer to the end because at some point you have to get an approval or some action taken. My lawyer gave me a timeframe of about 45-90 days to finish my nvc stage once she get the number... is this realistic? I have seen other cases finished in one month or less. Should i even pay to do this or should I be doing this myself? Im highly frustrated because even with a lawyer i got an rfe in the I-130, because her proof of a bone fide marriage was statements from the wrong people and could have been avoided. which costed me more time and money..... The DOS sent our approval and said that they sent our I 129F package to the French ambassy on the 5th July. But I received an email from them, saying that we are not not in their computer system so far (and we are 19th July!!!!).  Plus, when we filled the I129 f form, I stupidly wrote Bordeaux consulate (which doesn't issue visas) instead of Paris Ambassy.
