Saylin created the spreadsheet 11/05/2010, but don't know if he is still around to keep it updated. Has anybody seen any posts from Saylin lately??

First off, I'm a 'she' :D

And yes, I'm still around. I'm signed up to get notifications on this thread, so I see everything.

Just updated the spreadsheet now actually. I added a 'Comments' column and added notes to those that have been approved but have yet for their file to reach NVC.

I've just seen in the other thread that someone at CSC whose NOA1 is Oct 20 was approved at the beginning of Dec. It wasn't expedite.
Why TSC is so slow Posted Image

If you're talking about jhilly143, they were indeed expedited. It's in their signature and they made a topic about it: http://www.visajourn...41#entry4336141

Thank you Saylin - I just saw that. Perhaps that explains the other October NOA 2 as well. Even though it doesn't change the fact that people who applied after us have been processed earlier, I don't want to perpetuate inaccurate information. Take care.

I'm not sure about the second person from October getting their NOA2 early. They haven't posted or anything, but I'm going to safely assume it was an expedite as well.

But I won't deny that there have been numerous approvals from September that weren't expedites, yet there are still many from June/July/August without their approvals yet.

I truly do hope everyone that was transferred to TSC get their approvals soon. I can't imagine what you are all going through after waiting and waiting and seeing people after you getting approved before you. My advice is to stay positive and know that your approval is coming.

It's pretty unjust. I discovered a few days ago that an October applicant at CSC got their NOA2 just 43 days after their NOA1 date.

That recent October filer was expedited.

Well, since my last post, there has been no touches on our I-130. So I'm in the same boat as all of you. But there has been one VERY positive development. I couldn't wait to see my wife again, so I went back to see her for her birthday and of course my own. I returned to the US from that visit on November 21.. wishing that I could have brought her with me. And we're staying positive, but now I can only hope that we are moving along. As she told me last night, I'm going to be a father.. :) Seems our visit was a bit magical!

Everyone keep being positive.. :D

At least I'm going to be more positive then ever now, Seems that my Christmas gift came early this year..

Keep smiling gang!

Thomas

Congratulations on the good news!

What a fair service to US Citizens....

We are the lucky fellows who got transferred to TSC and now we are supposed to wait for another month or so for getting a decision,,, let me mention one more time here that all late june filers and some of July filers are already out of 5 months. USCIS says us to wait another 60 days for these applicaitons.

AND CSC STARTED TO APPROVE SEPTEMBER FILES,,,, (THEY TRANSFERRED JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST FILES TO TSC, I GUESS TO TEACH TSC HOW TO WORK ON THE FILES,,, WE ARE THE TEST SPECIMENS HERE)

check this out
http://www.visajourn...5-got-approval/

Yeah, I've counted 8 approvals of people with September NOA1 dates already this week. I really hope all of you get your approvals soon.

Hey,
I've been on VJ since August. I know that this question is asked in every thread I'm sure but what is my NOA1 date.

for my noa1 i have received date/priority date august 5. and notice date august 14.
on my tranfser notice I have receipt date august 14 with a notice date of nov 3.
I once had my my noa1 date as august 14 and then recently changed it to aug 5, but I think I need to change it back to august 14. If that's the case Saylin could you change my Noa1 date on your spreadsheet and I'll update my timeline. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you're right, your NOA1 date would be August 14. Updated the spreadsheet :)

Saylin,

Thanks for the spreadsheet. Can you please add my transfer to USCIS office as in signature. Thanks.

Thanks for telling me. I updated the spreadsheet. Dunno how I missed you since you clearly have it in your signature, lol.

If you check out the spreadsheet (https://spreadsheets...dWc&hl=en#gid=0), there's actually been quite a few people that have gotten that same email about post-decision activity.

Just a quick update for everyone.

Bad news: my husband left this afternoon :(

Good news: I updated the spreadsheet! I went through and added people I missed on this thread and caught up with everything that happened this past week. I also added three more columns to the spreadsheet: date of transfer to USCIS office, date of post decision activity, and the wonderful NOA2 (which I hope fills up quickly). I'll be updating the spreadsheet more this week as I'll go through Igor's list and add those people who did not write in this thread.

Good luck to all those in Texas! I hope you all receive NOA2s this week!

(And just in case, here's the link to the spreadsheet: https://spreadsheets...dWc&hl=en#gid=0)

back to one approval...
in which thread did Gnasher post?

Gnasher posted in the August filer thread: http://www.visajourn...s/page__st__345

We've now got two approvals from Texas: Gnasher and EGUZI.

The spreadsheet is up to date with the information given in this thread. I know there's other people out there that were transferred to TSC, but I don't feel like hunting them down. Now that Igor's list is updated with TSC, it might be easier for me to add them to the spreadsheet. But my husband just arrived last night and I'm going to spend the week with him instead of updating the spreadsheet :P

Also, until people get NOA2 with 'approval' written on it, I'm not going to add the NOA2 column on the spreadsheet. I want to be sure of the date you got approved and not merely speculation that it was an approval or not.

Does anyone know if the Service Centers process petitions based on Priority Date or on Received Date? My Priority date is 07/15, but the Received Date is 07/27.

Priority date doesn't matter for IR-1/CR-1 visas since there isn't a limit on the number of visas per year. They go by notice date, or the NOA1 as we all like to call it. :)
SaylinFemaleCanada2010-11-24 13:28:00

I hope Jenny is right about her belief. I have received NOA1 on 9th July and have not heard from them yet. I read guys with NOA1 having touched several times. It is now making me nervous about having no response at all on my case. Now thanksgiving and christmas is on the line, noone knows how much it will affect our processing times.

Don't worry at all about not getting touches. There have been dozens and dozens of people here on VJ that didn't get touched at all, not once, yet still got approved. Don't put everything into the whole touch thing. It means little to nothing.
SaylinFemaleCanada2010-11-19 14:34:00

It seems that service centers have already began their break early...

have u checked out IGOR's list for I130... no one from VJ has been approved since Nov 12th...

JP

Just remember, not everyone in the world with an I-130 is joined up to VJ. Maybe USCIS is processing non-VJ petitions this week or it could be processing VJ members that just haven't updated yet,

Yes, I can imagine. There's lots of terms out there in relation to visas and it's hard to sort through at times.

my husband also recieved transfer letter...my NOA1 date is 17 july....i wish i am near to good news...btw i've checked http://travel.state....letin_5197.html today its showing priority date till 1-aug-2010....my priority date on NOA1 is 8-july-2010....is it good for me or my case have no concern with this? because on dat site they instructed to follow priority date...m confuse. :crying:

Priority date doesn't matter for spouse visas. Priority date is for those that applied for visas with a limited number per year. IR-1/CR-1 visas are not limited, thus you can ignore the priority date.

The 15 days is referring to premium processing, not when you'll get an NOA2.

Premium processing is similar to an expedite in that you "jump the line", but you don't need any reasons for it (medical, military, etc), but you have to pay $1000 for it and is only available for work visas.

May I suggest something though... to maybe consider adding up an aditional column for the ever wanted & much desired NOA2?? :D kind'a keeps the motor running seeing some of us checking that out

I'll add the NOA2 column once someone actually gets approved. Just don't want a completely blank column :P

Created a spreadsheet for you guys: https://spreadsheets...9UTnY4dWc&hl=en

Included the person's name, type of visa, country of beneficiary, NOA1 date, and date of transfer.
Taken from people who posted in this thread. I'm sure there's others out there that got transferred, but I don't feel like hunting them down on other threads. *lazy*
I'll continue to add names and edit the spreadsheet as more people post.

Analyze away! :D

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNVC Process - EP - What is Beneficiary ID?

Thanks Heather & Matt and Saylin! #######, I remembered to ask for the Inv ID #... didn't realize I forgot to ask for more info. Too funny that the operator doesn't volunteer to provide you with the other. :) Oh, well. Thanks again guys! And looks like we all have the US/Cdn connections... I heart Canadians...

Yeah, when I first called and found out that a case number was assigned, the operator didn't voluntarily give it to me. I had to ask for my case number, then I had to ask for the IIN, then I had to ask for the beneficiary ID number.

Canadians are awesome :D

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNVC Process - EP - What is Beneficiary ID?

Hi all - In completing the DS-261 for electronic processing at the NVC, is the "beneficiary ID" the same as our NVC case number or our invoice ID number? This is the electronic form that replaces the DS-3032 (choice of agent). Sayin, do you know? :star:

Like Heather said, you have to call NVC. When I got my case number, I also asked for the IIN and the beneficiary ID number. :)

thanx for your reply, and anyone can confirm this about DS-3032 ?? I heard i have to send it after paying AOS, true?

You do NOT have to wait till after paying the AOS. Please read these guides:

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresAnd now next step is......

ok so i called NV today and got NVC Case and IIN (Invoice Identification Number) .

after loging in into https://ceac.state.g...px?node=Invoice i see following -

Affidavit of Support (AOS) Fees
Petitioner Fee Amount Payment Status Select
NOT INVOICED

now what? Do i need to wait for status to change into INVOICED? If yes, how long it takes?

And do i send Choice of Agent now or wait for them to email me something?

THANX

My AOS fee appeared two days after getting a case number, so you should see the bill as INVOICED within a few days.

And you can send the DS-3032 now, you don't need to wait for NVC to send you anything.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresno NVC case number yet

I got approval on january 11th for my I 130 from TSC. I am calling NVC everyday. No case number yet .Talked to operator at NVC and TSC . They told me to wait for 90 days . everybody gets their case number in 3 days .Why I have to wait 90 days?

Unfortunately, TSC messed up pretty big when they got a bunch of transferred files from CSC. Not only are a bunch of people over 6 months waiting for their approvals, there's also a bunch of people that have been waiting longer than usual for a case number. It's because TSC actually hasn't shipped your case yet.

I strongly suggest you visit this thread: http://www.visajourn...ifornia-part-2/ It's a thread for those that were transferred to TSC back in November and the problems they had to go through. Some of them are still waiting for approvals and it's been 7-8 months. There's even a handful of people that were approved back at the end of November that just recently got their case number, almost 90 days later.

Another thread that you might find useful: http://www.visajourn...saga-continues/ It's for those that have gotten approved and are either on their way to NVC or who have gotten their case numbers.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresInterview Wait Times

Hi All,

I hope someone has some info on this as I do not know what to do!

I just got my NOA2. I am the beneficiary and I am in Canada on a work visa that ends in 5 months. Afterwards I would need to return to Argentina where I am from. I wanted to do the electronic processing but seeing the wait times for the interview at Montreal I am afraid I won't make it in time to d the interview in Canada. Now I don't know what to do: if to start the NVC EP but if the interview is after I leave could I transfer it to Argentina even though Argentina does not use EP? May be I can leave Canada and come back on a tourist visa for the interview only? (is that possible?)

Whatever info you may have I will greatly appreciate it!!

Thanks so much

If you have 5 months left on your work visa, you should be fine. From CC to interview date, it's currently about 2 months wait at Montreal. As long as you don't take 3 months in NVC, you'll be fine. Remember, there's online forms that are REQUIRED if you're in Canada, so please check that out.

Yes, as an IR-1/CR-1 filer, your only option is Montreal. Vancouver isn't an option.
