What is NVC number.

When you get approved and sent to NVC, another number is generated to your case. This is the NVC case number.

THANX! omg i keep reading my email over n over just to make sure its real lol ok guys tell me im not dreaming and that it DOES say that we are APPROVED?

Saylin if I wasnt transferred , then would my NOA2 would say it was coming from Texas? well The envelope of the Hard copy says CA and also in the bottom of my NOA@.. in my notice it says "we have sent the approved petition to the Department of State National Visa Center (NVC)... so do I need to check for a case number or aht do I do to see if I have a case number since I am not from TSC anymore?

Well since it said CSC on the envelope and at the bottom, I'd wager that you were approved in CSC, so you shouldn't be getting an email about your case being sent to NVC. You can start calling up the AVR and/or an operator to see if a case number has been assigned.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresCalifornia to Texas & Texas to California - Part 2

they assign my case number on 02/14/2011!!!!!!!!!!
hey saylin i also gave my email address to the operator.
what is a IIN and beneficiary ID number?
how long was it before they contacted you for the choice of agent and to pay fees?

You need the IIN to sign into the payment portal and you can get that from an operator. You don't need the beneficiary ID. That number is only needed for those doing the online forms. NVC doesn't contact you about the choice of agent, you send that yourself. And when you sign into the payment portal, you'll see if the fees are available yet or not.

Hello everyone. I just got home and found my approval Notice dated feb 10.. You know how I received the email that I was transferred to CSC from TSC on Feb 10.. well 4 hours after, same day i got approved.. so I thought my approval came from TSC.. I got my notice today and it is from CALIFORNIA... so I guess I am out of TSC and hoping to get my NVC case number soon...ok so in my notice says that my case was forwarded to the NVC...but I have not received an email or text and my status has not changed online... any thoughts for those who got approval notices in the mail???

If you really got approved from Cali, you might not get an email/text saying your case was sent to NVC since those approved in CSC don't get that.

oh YEAH vj fam i got my nvc case number!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY!!! Finally! :D

Wait, let me see if I understand you properly. They did finish loading out petitions on the truck, they were rounding the corner at the book depository, turned upside down on the grassy knoll (because of the snow), and Lee Harvey Oswald came back (another conspiracy theory?), saw the problem, and moved them to the book depository because that is where he works?

Saylin, will I be able to do the EP? Hubby is in Miami and I'm in Toronto.

Since your in Canada, then yes! And remember the online forms (DS-261 and DS-260) are REQUIRED. EP, according to NVC's site, is still optional, but I'm reading that some people were told it's required now.

2nd RFE, this time my daughter's petition, and guess what they don't claim for the passport but for a TRANSLATED birth certificate. In Europe we have multilingual official documents, and it's exactly what we submitted, they are askeing for an english version of something which is already in English :bonk:

People I've never, never seen such a nonsense.
Do you imagine me going to see a translator and tell him to translate something from English to English???? :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Thank you Saylin!!! that's suck that my country is not on the list :(

Electronic processing is relatively new and NVC is testing it out with only a few select consulates. Soon, way after all of us are done, NVC wants EP to be the norm and available for every country. But I'm sure that will be a few years from now.

I want the following approvals tonight:
June : 06 cases
July : 10 cases
August: 04 cases

So a total 0f 20 is enough for today :)

I'm thinking more like:

June: 6 cases
July: 33 cases
August: 44 cases
September: 1 case

For a total of 84 cases. The amount that's remaining :D

Please let me know if I may be of assistance further,

A question for those who have received the email that says "We have shipped your petition to NVC" Did you receive a hardcopy NOA2 yet? And if yes did it say "Your petition has been approved and shipped to NVC" Because I think those late Dec/Jan hardcopy NOA2s said "your approval will be shipped to NVC within 90 days." My hardcopy NOA2 has no time limit on it. Strictly says approved and shipped. It was approved at TSC.

Saylin, as a normally processed CSC petition, what did yours say?
For those that got an NVC number what did yours say?
For those who have received an email saying it's been shipped what did yours say?

A lot of questions but I'm aching for a NVC case number.

Also, here's a copy of my NOA2 hardcopy. I of course blocked out our names, address, and receipt number. It's not the same message as in the email.

I understand that electronic processing isn't available to most yet. But is available for Canada. I am in Spokane, WA. Is it available here?

It doesn't matter where in the USA the petitioner is, it's where the beneficiary is located. And if the beneficiary in your case is from Indonesia, then no, it's not available.

Scroll down to the table at the end and you'll see countries that have the option of EP and/or online forms: http://travel.state..../info_5165.html

The things is that im waiting in Mexico and my wife is in Colorado if that happens how the heck im gonna get in the United States? :( i don't feel like running all across the border lol j/k

I don't know anything about I-130 interviews, but I believe it's just the petitioner that needs to go as the I-130 is a petition for the US spouse to apply for a visa later on for their spouse. It really doesn't have much to do with the foreign spouse at that point. That comes later at NVC when the foreign spouse applies for the visa (DS-230/DS-260).

Ok every one now i got totally lost we got this notice today im not sure what is going on

I-797C Notice of Action
Case Type: I-130
Notice Day: February 23 2011
Notice type:Transfer Notice

Preliminary processing of the above application has been completed and it has been transferred to the USCIS office at :

12484 Weaver place centennial CO 80111

That office will notify you when they schedule an interview on the application or petition. Any further inquiries should be made to that office

so what does this really means i was thinking ether getting back to California or getting approved but i would never thought going to Colorado
i mean that where our house is but i dont get it please some one help me to have an idea what this means

Uhhh Posted Image Posted Image It might mean an I-130 interview is going to be asked since you say your house is in Colorado, so they might be sending it to a local office.
