You were already on the spreadsheet, so no worry about needing to be added ;)

Since taxes aren't due until April 17th, and hopefully we'll be sending in that AOS package well before then, how can they expect us to include 2010 taxes? I will just send 2009 taxes.

They won't expect 2010 taxes with the AoS package until after April 17. Up until then, only 2009 is expected. But if you made more income in 2010, it'd be a good idea to include some kind of proof. My husband made double in 2010 and although we won't have his taxes done before we send off the AoS package, we're definitely sending proof he's made a lot more in 2010 and is still making that much through an employment letter and his pay stubs.

You can ad us to the spread sheet.

NOA1 Priority date July 9th. Transfer Nov 2.

Then dead silence.

Added you.

I'm now going to bed before I pass out at my computer. Zzzzzzz.

I noticed you left all of us without NOA2, RFE or NVC white for the time you shaved your head bald.

It doesn't look like any approvals today...

thank you for all you do for us Saylin, we really appreciate it.

I'm more than glad to do it, but on the other hand, I wish I didn't in the sense I wish there was no mass transfer, or that the transfer didn't screw over people, so there wasn't a need for a spreadsheet. But alas, the TSC transfer is screwy and a spreadsheet needed to be done.

Still no approvals for me to add :(

Fiddled with the spreadsheet some more. Added 2 more columns at the end. First for when an NVC case number was assigned, and second for how many days between NOA2 and the case number was assigned. With only two numbers to work off (46 days and 49 days), it's not looking so good...

So the spreadsheet keeper has been bored tonight with no approvals, so I decided to add some color to the spreadsheet. Put those that have gotten NOA2s in a light pink (to match my hair Posted Image ) and those with an NVC case number in purple (for when I had purple highlights Posted Image ) and those that have gotten an RFE in blue (for when I had blue highlights Posted Image).

Just got caught up with the day's posts. I see someone got voted off the island :innocent:

Ahh, very true, very true.

You were at CSC though. That's a horse of a different color.

True, but I would think that approvals could still come at any time, no matter what service center.

I think it's a little early in the evening for approvals yet.

Although there seems to be a trend here of getting approvals late at night, just remember that approvals can come at anytime. I found out about mine at 4:44pm.

i know i could come up with much better, i still have leftover CV/resume BS built up in me dying to escape
i made 3 CVs for DH the other day ... 2 general (1 color 2pg fancy one and a 1pg basic B/W simple one) and 1 specifically for a job he was applying (color with a pic on it)

it takes me forever to word, reword, change it up again to get exactly what i want but i dont stop till i feel it's perfection!
hmm in this economy maybe i should be starting a resume business

It definitely sounds like you know what you're doing! I've never had to actually do a resume before (except for one in high school a long time ago).

Goooooooooooood evening from Miami my dearest VJ family :)

Just got caught up with the day's posts- lots to read!

It's obvious that a lot of us, especially the ones who have been waiting 6+ months, and even more-so the ones with health/kids-related issues, are getting more and more dismayed as the hours pass throughout the day.

All of you who have posted on this thread have helped me cope with this painful partition from my better half. To some, hearing of other peoples' approvals has induced anxiety amongst other emotions, and I guess a very small part of me feels the same way, wondering "why not me" every time someone gets approved- but that's just human nature. I try to dismiss this feeling as rapidly as it enters my thoughts- if one doesn't do so then this thought simply self-perpetuates and spirals the individual into a darkness called depression.

As a couple of you have said before, one of the most important things we need to do is to keep our eyes on the prize! :) We all have used this forum to share information (irrespective of whether the info was helpful or not- we SHARE), to help console one another, and to make each other laugh when we need it the most. Point is, I'm happy I found this forum, and just like so many of you have voiced, I'm happy for the folks who've been approved :)

Each day that passes brings us one day closer to being reunited with our loved ones. For those of you with health issues and kids in the mix, STAY STRONG!

Very well said! I completely agree!

I did find one connection though...everybody that has been approved were approved on days that ended with the letter Y. That is the only connection I have found so far

Hahaha, very good one. I wonder why no one else found this connection? Posted Image

I know what you mean. Every two months I have taken a flight to visit my wife for a few days each time. I did not think I would have to do this for a year. No one realizes the impact this has... my wife's life is at a standstill, just waiting, like everyone else's spouse here.

I know what you mean. I'm stuck here in Canada with my life at a stand-sill. Not in school and don't have a job. It sucks :(

I'm about to start prank calling USCIS to pass the time. What could I ask the Tier 1 CS reps?

I have no idea, but please tell what happens when you do prank call Posted Image

LOL! I deleted my facebook in August and stopped coming on the internet. NOW I'M ADDICTED AGAIN!!!!!!!! :bonk:

I think I've decided to keep the rest of my journey a secret. That way when Luc shows up in San Diego I can tell people oh yeah we finally got approved! hahahah
I'm becoming DELIRIOUS with this process.

And a quick Q to those approved. Did you get a text and email? Or just an email? What was your first form of knowing? Maybe in a dream? Because I had a very vivid dream involving TSC Tuesday night personally writing me an email.

My husband and I were signed up for text and email notification. I got the text message and he got the email message (and he gets a notification on his phone when he gets an email). The email is more detailed, whereas the text message just said there was an update to the case.
