Lol   Anyhow, I have some  questions...   "Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of   Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal   income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview."   So i just give my wife whatever, we sent in for with AOS? Doesn't make sense as nothing will be different. Thats what I plan to do, however how do I know for sure my petition is at my embassy? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2013 I-130 Filers	Are you expecting to have your NVC case complete within two weeks of submitting all of that? Maybe I'm misinterpreting.   What are the current estimates on completion for the NVC phase once a case number is assigned (assuming one is on top of sending out what is required of them)? as Amber stated above, i meant completing  my end of the work. I will get back to you on that. But the time frame between approval and interview date is about 4 to 5 months.    Hopefully you will get the case number on 23rd. Yeah try to submit everything ASAp. So you can get the interview in early july. Good luck   That would be awesome. our birthdays and anniversary, all in August! My wife doesn't believe we will get an interview date in August, let alone July! She is very pessimistic. Good luck to all!   There does seem to be some truth to it, but only for those people (unlike you and me) who filed their I129f at almost the same time as their I-130. I imagine it's because their I-129s would have had to go through to the embassies otherwise. For us, who filed for the k3 later, the magic doesn't work.   I know. It takes me an average of 10 - 12 redials before it rings through, and then at least a half hour on hold before I get a human on the line. Thank goodness we use Vonage so we don't pay for calls to the US!    Probably you'll get your case number around the first of June. It seems to take about a month from arrival to case number generation.      Sweet! Good for you! We're not far behind you (I hope!)    Seems like a little less than two months on average (on the NVC spreadsheet the average is sitting around 54 days)    See above, and also check out the spreadsheet (there's a link in the very first post of the NVC monthly thread.) there was a Canadian filer this week who got case complete last week and got a mid June interview date! I wish you luck, but it seems unlikely that you will get everything in within 2 weeks. It took about a week from case number to having the AOS fee available, another couple days before it showed as paid, and as of now the IV fee hasn't been invoiced yet. Once it has been invoiced and paid, it usually takes a couple more days before the ds260 is available to be filled out. My guess is that the fastest you'll get through your end of the NVC process is 3weeks. But then all you have to do is hang out, hope for no checklists, and a quick case complete! Either way, good luck and I wish you (and all of us) the best! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2013 I-130 Filers	You were at VSC, right? I think mine took almost 3 weeks until it got there and showed up on their system. I don't know for sure since USCIS never sent me an email about when it was sent and I was just calling randomly at NVC once a week to see if it got there. But I am estimating about 3 weeks.    The only thing I would say, though, is read the NVC Wiki and prepare your AOS and IV documents now while you're waiting because once you get your case and IIN number it moves super fast. After you get the numbers you can finish everything in less than 2 weeks. I paid and filled out everything as of today, however I don't have all the IV documents to send in yet and I wish I did. My husband is Fedexing them early next week, but I honestly should have been prepared before. I guess I saw how slow the USCIS moved and thought NVC would be more of the same, but was not the case. There's always the chance I could get checklisted, however the actual paying and submitting can be done super fast once you have your numbers. Yep. VSC and their site still not updated. NVC got my papers  april 25th, so I am hoping to get my case  and IIN next week. I call every other day.    I got everything needed for NVC stage. police records, birth cert and have our original marriage cert etc...  Just going to translate police records and birth cert.   Hopefully I get done within 2 weeks of time of receiving case and IIN number. The NVC thread is impossible for me to follow and I've tried going through it a few times when I needed to ask something. But it is just far too difficult when you have limited time.  It is pointless go there if my case hasn't been activated.  I don't even know if the case will be activated this month, yet.      I call every 3 days. You will need more proof at the Embassy for the interview.  And Most RFE are later when they actually look at your file. It is alot thicker and heavier than I thought... It did cost quite some money, I guess I can have my wife take it to interview if needed in the future..   What really sucks is that I cant pull out viber call logs... We only talked through it and we talked ALOT, ever day, for hours for 10 months..   But for now, I will  send full skype call logs(25 pages).. bout 25 pages of whatsapp txt logs from varius dates of the month each month..   I do have plenty of bus trip vouchers, honeymoon plane ticket cards, and a hotel receipt with our names...   and of course, gazillion pictures   my question now is:     If they request RFE, Do they immediately ask for as they receive  i130 or is it after some time they notify you that they received your package?	ameriturk	Male	Turkey	2013-09-25 07:29:00

I have few questions in regards to AOS.     I will have a joint sponsor. and He files his taxes jointly w/ his wife.  Does he need to mention her in part 6? They work at same place(Self employed, business is on his name). Their tax returns are identical.   If so, at PART 6-11, it says I need to include 1864A for this person.   I am confused   One last thing,   Do I just put N/A to all empty fields that does not apply to me? Thanks for reponses pushbrk.   While you are here I have a question for you as well in regards to this subject.   My co-sponsor also self employed and both him and his wife work at the same place and file taxes jointly. co-sponsor shows as main and wife as spouse of the tax transcript. Their tax transcripts are identical. I am unsure of how to separate who makes what.Or if I even need to separate in this case?   Anyhow, I am thinking of putting what the "shop" makes alone in co-sponsor field and wages/tips/salary/ to under wife (who will fill out the 864a) and add them for current income field?     Can you give some insight?   Thank you.	ameriturk	Male	Turkey	2014-05-29 12:27:00
