I had emailed them from my fiance's acct Wed and from my acct Wed. On Fri I got a response from my acct saying they would send off the visa once registered with DHL. We have been registered with DHL from a year ago and never told us we had to re register when the system changed. All I knew is I was having a tough time figuring out how to create a new acct Fri afternoon. Finally got it all sorted out and come Mon, we also got an update date change but still no status change from refused. Later that same morning I get a response from my fiance's email stating it's still in AP. WTHEEE????? What's the email that says the visa will be sent off once we're registered? These people are so disorganized. One dep doesn't communicate with the other, and seriously who knows if they have monkeys replying to emails??? Actually, I think it's an insult to monkeys to claim they are the result of misinformation via emails. All we can do is wait but I sure would like to get the visa "while we're young!"

Because I sent mines through USPS from America....didn't know they want it through DHL. .what the hell they told my fiance to have me mailed the documents and I did.

I was in Jamaica when I sent the packet by courier. They are just like fed ex or dhl

I sent through ta ra? I can't recall the actual name but that's what's on the truck. There isn't a dhl office in Negril but the cost is the same. They flew it over same day I sent 13 August but embassy didn't acknowledge acceptance til 15 aug

They asked for the tracking number and carrier, so I sent it to them waiting for on email back..also if the cant find it I will have to mail it again because the i-864 has to be original. ..

OMG! So sorry you're going through this. I hope they have the medical packet I sent. Only thing keeping me from freaking out is that NVC said embassy acknowledged receipt 15 aug

As far for the dhl site....ifvur talking about the visa-info web....its not useful at all to Jamaica. Once we finally figured how to get back in it (had to do a reset) it kept saying we had to pay the visa fee. Gave up and finally waybill number was emailed to him to check on the actual dhl site.

I just realized they changed the DHL website and I don't have the DS-160 barcode number. My fiance already gave it to them at the interview. How do I obtain the barcode number without any information to retrieve it?

What is the average wait time between receiving NOA1 and NOA2? It's been about 24 days and we still haven't heard anything. I looked at the similar cases here on VJ and it seems everyone else who filed like us got their NOA2 in 10 days or less. Is this normal? I'm getting kinda stressed out over not hearing anything.

Darnell, any advise on how to handle the fact that my mom can't obtain any documents on her first marriage/divorce 40 yrs ago. It was a religions marriage/divorce only and did not have state recognition. If she were to write a letter with an explanation would it jeopardize our application? I listed it on the I-130 and I am regretting it but I don't' know if it is possible to "amend/correct" the I130 after it has been filed or is this the equivalent of starting over with another $420 fee?

I just sined up on this Web Site and I'm new to the IR5 process. NVC received my mom's I-130 on June 17th. I am trying to prepare ahead with the next set of documents. Do I mail i-864 and i-864a directly to her? Can i do that even before we have an approval?

On another note, my mom has a 10 yr visitor visa (expires 2021) she is eager to come and see her grandbaby. If she comes to the US and i-130 gets approved while she is here, can we switch the process and go thru the rest of the application within the US? or would she have to go back to her home country and have an interview there?

Ouch, that's depressing I sent mine in Tuesday overnight, it was delivered to them Wednesday morning the 19th January. I'll post when I get it

OH I AM SO EXCITED!

I sent them an email yesterday meantioning how worried I am getting etc etc! And I woke up this morning and there was my interview date and time! Feb 11th at 10.45am!

Took me about 10 mintues to book flights and call my fiance and jump all around excited!

Best of Luck with yours! Maybe send them an email after a week. Going from VJ it seems to historically be around the 10 day mark! I'm just so glad I now have the next hurdle to jump over now and that will be it!

I sent i601 for my wife back in September and its now November and haven't received any information and my 2 little girls cry 24/7 and hardly eat..
