The certificate must indicate that after the marriage ceremony, it was registered or recorded by the county, state or province." "The marriage certificate submitted does not show evidence of being civilly registered with the county clerk. The document must show the page and book numbers in which the event was recorded." We had not gotten a verified copy of our marriage certificate ... Can't believe we did that the one we got was the one right after we were married lol My hubby will go Monday to get it! Is the NVC stage of all this as strict and stressful as the initial I-130 with USCIS, or once aprroved by USCIS does NVC push the cases through as long as all is in order with required documents?   From what I've seen I don't think NVC are as haphazard as USCIS, so it's more a matter of waiting in line and taking your turn, giving them what they ask for and waiting a little bit more, we're all great at waiting now, this stage should be a doddle right?!!	urbangirluk	Female	United Kingdom	2014-03-14 14:45:00

I postd on the fb group yesterday morning when i got the approval email. So, Pd- september 16, 2013 Transfer email- march 3, 2015 Hard copy of transfer- march 7, 2014 (it said it was trans, on the 4th to CSC) Approval text- march 12, 2014 (email said it was approved on 11th) Hard copy NOA2- TODAY (march 11th approval) I called NVC today during my luNCH break at work because i was just BORED lol and they told me they have my case already!!!! They got it march 13 (today) I did not expect that at all because i already knew it was going to take several days until they get it ! Now waiting for a case number. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 I-130 Filers	I think someone in Texas must have munched one too many breakfast burritos and pushed the wrong button on their computer. The NOA2 is basically telling me 'ok, its approved, now its up to you as to how to proceed', and I don't think that can possibly be correct.   I literally have no idea where to go from here. I've been reading up on this BS for months now, and I was sure I had the whole process straight in my head, but right now, I'm back to square one.   I guess I'm going to have to speak to a tier 2 tomorrow. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 I-130 Filers	Hi ppl my PD is 9/26 and got transferred on 3/5 to NSC  and yesterday i received this email On March 7, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN.  Please check our website at [/size]www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case.  Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.[/size]   Can somebody please tell me what is this suppose to mean?    We're not quite sure what this means, could mean an RFE or could mean nothing at all Who knows what this means     "The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. Way too much red tape, way too much nonsense, and its because of all that red tape and nonsense that we all have to wait 704 years just to get some sort of news that someone may or may not have accidentally touched our file while they were on their way to the canteen, which then triggers off about 206 emails, all virtually identical apart from one or two minor differences.   "your file has been sent somewhere but we wont tell you where because its a big secret".   "your file has been sent somewhere, but we're not sure where. Please wait 30 days until we start to try to maybe figure it out".   "your file has been sent to lees summit, even though WE are in lees summit, so really, we havent sent it anywhere. we just felt like sending you yet another email"   "your file has been sent somewhere, so why not give us a call to find out where? our tier 1 agents are standing by to give you absolutely no information whatsoever, but rest assured that as soon as you ask for a tier 2, the line will go dead"   As of right now, I literally have no idea where my application stands.    I sent in my I-130, it seems to have taken someone 5 months to accidentally brush past it, which triggered off those aforementioned 206 emails, and they gave it a cursory glance (because having accidentally brushed past it, they couldnt really ignore it, because any time they brush past it, an automated email is sent out), and now, supposedly, they've shipped it off to some unknown mystery office, where someone else will let it gather dust for a few months.    As I said, i'm just frustrated In case anyone from USCIS is watching, I love you really   *scream*   Brilliant!	urbangirluk	Female	United Kingdom	2014-03-08 09:20:00

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 I-130 Filers	Did you send originals? If so, no. Unless you mean NVC, in which case, no. But that's because they send the packet to the Embassy and you get your originals back at interview. When I sent the packet for I130 to USCIS I sent originals AND copies of everything. So really they got everything twice! I mailed my packet before finding visa journey - so I went overboard to make sure I got it all right by sending originals of EVERYTHING as well as copies of it (my packet was pretty hefty)! I was just wondering if I was gonna get my packet back of all the originals I had sent to USCIS with the I130 packet and/or copies before my hubby has his interview. My stupid butt made a second packet of everything in the USCIS packet (but all copies) but then I went and sent it the next month as K3 packet instead of saving it. I had a list written down of all the stuff I sent - which unfortunately is on my other laptop, which committed laptop suicide over the holidays. If for some reason I have to make another packet or something I'm gonna have to wing it since I don't remember half the stuff I sent! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 I-130 Filers	No, you don't need to submit the entire petitions again, just what they asked for in the RFE. I believe the blue paper (the actual RFE) needs to be attached. Since it's just one item they are interested in, I doubt a cover letter is necessary. Did you get married in the US, Nigeria or a third country? Hopefully where ever you got married won't give you any hassle. Best of luck to you!   Yup!
