No NOA1,nothing yet... We think that our package(and packages what been sent in July to TSC) processing in Vermont... I guess so because one friend of mine called to USCIS and they said that you already could file the packages to the new addresses... My fiance met with senator and he is willing to help us... We had filed at the Vermont Center and I have got nothing back yet. I am scared that my fiancee will not believe that I had sent our petition in to be processed. I hate USCIS because I have done all to insure that our petition was correct and sent it in on time to be processed. I have been calling the help line number to get help and I am told to wait. Does the Texas and Nebraska ceters do any work or is california getting over in some way?? 3.) I am in the Army and I am preparing a K1 visa packet. Would my W2's be good enough or do I need my 1040's?? 4.) In the Support Affidavit, do they look at the GROSS or NET salary?? I am in the army, so some monetary benefits are not counted on my W2's, but are on my earning statements. For example housing allowances. Send your petition where the instructions tell you to send it. It will end up in California or Vermont. The other centers are processing other kinds of petitions. Send tax returns or tax trancripts. The IRS will fax your the transcripts for free. A W2 might be sufficient in February but I wouldn't try getting by with it after April 15. Use your gross income on the Affidavit. Wait until your meeting in September to file anything and collect as much proof of your relationship as possible. Did you ask her to marry you over the net or phone? I've known my fiancee for over a year now and we discussed marriage before meeting but I would have never asked her until being with her and seeing how we interacted. Alexander G. Bell developed a great invention...THE TELEPHONE...USE IT!! The Wright Brothers developed another great thing....AN AIRPLANE....USE IT!!! Forums are another great idea use them also. Do not try to get your spouse on the cheap, it didn't work on the global war on terror and it won't work towards a happy marriage. Spend it if you have it available!!! I have learned my lesson. It will be in your best interest to document a relationship. Plane tickets, meal receipts, medical receipts, western union receipts, pictures, and phone call records. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K1 VISA DENIED	My K-1 visa was denied. My lawyer received an RFE asking if I had been convicted of any crimes. I told her the information and she sent it in without my signature and IT WAS DENIED. Now I must reapply for a new petition all over again. Now I think I need a waiver. I had a k1 visa 8 years ago. The marriage lasted 5 years, ending in divorce. Do I need a waiver, and if so what are the chances it will be approved? Or should I appeal the decision? The letter my lawyer received is below. My lawyer did not send me this RFE to put my signature on it, she just asked me to tell her if I had been convicted of a crime. She sent it in without my name on it. I think anyone who sent in a petition should state convicted crimes up front to AVOID RFE! On the petition you filed on April 2, you failed to complete part C of the form. In a Notice of Action may 18 you were notified you must complete the form. You were then asked to respond to the question in part C and sign and resubmit the form that was sent to you. Your response received by the office May 29 did not include your signature on form you resubmitted. In view of the above the petition is DENIED. All NEW APPLICATION ALL OVER OR SHE WILL GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK NOT SURE WHAT TO DO YET (??? - confused on this one, but I don't think it's important) Above are the OP's posts, corrected for grammar and spelling. I'm not trying to belittle you, I'm trying to help and this was the only way I could understand the situation. It appears that the OP didn't fill out the questions about criminal background, and when his lawyer resubmitted the form, it didn't have his signature on it. That doesn't seem fair for them to deny a petition based on a small oversight. In any case, get a new lawyer that will be more thorough. I heared about RFE. It means when some documents are missing and all what you have to do just send them some documents what they need,like divorce degree,more pictures,singnature,etc... And your visa can be denie only if you didnt each other more than 2 years,you never met her/him in a person, or some of you still married... I think better for you to find out what happend... And if you will need to file the petition again just do that yourself... All paper work is not that hard to prepare,don't think that lawer could do that better than you will or somehow spped up the process... It's your choice... I was really worry about him and I started to make international phone calls...I called to all hospital in Fort.Hood and to Army Departmant in Virginia...They helped me and gave me Fort.Hood information desk phone number...I called there & gave them information about my Alvin and they connected me to 3/1 Infantry Division...From there they send somebody to his unit to find out about Sgt.Barnes...They said they contacted to his Sgn.menedger and found out that Alvin is all right now...It's all what I wanted to know...Now I feel alive... I met my fiancee in Korea and we spend almost a year together...We tried to get married there but his divorce took longer and his contract being in the US military expired & he had to go back to the states and I came back home from Korea. On 30 of June we filed petition for fiancee,on 18 of July they cashed money,but we didnt get any email oe mail from USCIS with our case number... But it is not the problem right now... All these problems made my Alvin be stressed...We have a very hard time being away from each other..Plus his job with being in the military doesnt help him...Sometimes he wake up at 3 AM & has to be up till midnight... Two days before I got email from his friend... ,,I know that you may not remember me but my name is Joshua Williams, and I work with Sgt Alvin Barnes. I do not know how to say it, but I will be short. Alvin was complaining about his chest hurting this morning while i was waiting on him to get ready for work... I know that you and him had been talking last night. He was on the phone with you while i drove to work... He kept saying that his chest was hurting real bad... I asked him if he was he going to be ok. he said " I'm ok , i had it before and it was nothing" . So when we got to work at 6:15 he stopped dropped the phone and fell face first on the ground... I ran over there to see what was going on he said "MY CHEST!!!!" So our supervisor ordered me to rush him to the hospital. When we got there he could bearly stand up .. I dragged him up to the desk were the lady asked whats going on.. Alvin said "MY CHEST...MY CHEST" then the doctor took him in the treatment room. I couldn't stay with him so I waited in the lobby... After about an hour the doctor came up to me and took me that SGT Barns had a minor Heart trouble. The doctor said it was related to stress and other things on his mind to cause this... He asked me if i knew anything that might be stressing him out ... I was about to say "NO" then i thought about the visa process and NOA1 and the other things to get you here... I tols the doctor about that and he said SGT Barnes needs to stay in the hospital for at least 3 days for obsevation. He told me to keep an eye on him and keep him away from stress when he gets out...LOLA.... im his friend. so im your friend. I dont want to get into your business but what you two are going through i understand but.... try not to stress him out.. Im not saying u are because he loves you alot.. i know it's work stressing him out. but can you be kind and gentle to him because i know you dont want this to happen again( Niether do I)You too are meant for each other and need to be together... The visa is a long process.. Im am waiting for my wife's visa to get dome to so i know how you feel. Just be patient please.. all he does is say " OHH I NEED MY LOLA!!!! I WANT MY LOLA"... so please be a stress reliver and not a stress causer. hahaha... between me and you he keeps piture of you in his work hat... he doesn't know that i know.. He also broke his phone when he fell so he won't be able to contact you for a while but he can use mine for he wants to . I confirmed reciept on 7/27/07...I still haven't received an NOA1 yet!! Am I just being impatient? I see that majority of recent 129f filers received their NOA1's within a week. Now I'm getting worried that I did something wrong! I want to call, but my fiance thinks if I start bothering them now, they will for sure put it at the bottom of the pile! Anyone from the Philippines dealt with this situation where your fiance flew her for tourist visa? He had a tourist visa before but it's expired. Will it take along time to renew the visa? Please let me know. Thank you so much. I know some people who tried to apply for tourist visa while K1 processing... No one got tourist visa,just spent 100 dollars for the fees... I know that I must pay the price for my being a liar when she and I first met, which had trapped me into lying to her for 5 months. Yet, when she decided to stay with me after I was caught lying: I had made a promise to stop lying and I have been faithful to that promise with some failure and some success, but I had learned my lesson. I have improved at every possible situation. I am hurt to find out that I may loose my Lola even as I endeavor to be more truthful, honest, and hardworking in all that I do..
