Ottawa is getting the biggest Ikea in canada in the next few years... pissed that i moved somewhere with no ikea =( told my mom i was going to visit whent he ikea was built LOL! Canada	Long Form Birth certificate question...	Perfect! Thanks everyone. I figured it was the right document but the fact that the word "certificate" wasn't on it had me confused - as most Ontario-ans know it looks nothing like the wallet-sized birth certificates. Canada	Long Form Birth certificate question...	I'm from Ontario, if it helps. It's got all my birth information, my parents' names and their dates of birth, places of birth, etc. registration, attendant, hospital of my birth, etc. ETA: At the top it is "This is a permanent legal record." in small text under where it says Province of Ontario. Is it on cream colored paper? ( silly question i know ) however, I believe i have the same thing, ( mine is from Ontario too ) It certainly doesn't look like a birth certificate. Canada	Next batch of K1's waiting for interview in MTL	Just reading the link that Jess and Andrew provided there is another link noted on that page, http://www.usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/us_immigrant_visas it states Fiancé(e) (K) visas are not included in this section because they are nonimmigrant visas that are often processed by the immigrant visa unit. Information on this type of visa is included with the other nonimmigrant visa Am i wrong to think we won't be scheduling our own interviews based on this information?? What do you all think?? I ask if there is an interview date (since many P3s logged after mine have one) and she says no. When I ask her (still using my happy 'don't piss off the DOS voice) if there are any notations on my file, she HANGS UP ON ME! Seriously?? After waiting over 15 minutes to talk to someone and that's what she does. ARGH. I'm so angry with them right now. Call at 4:30, you MUST have one too. I'm sure of it!! There's the the occasional exception, but that's the general tendency. SO excited!! so I'll be calling next week again to see if any progress has been made Well it appears there is hope for all of us after all. Did you send your packet 3 back July 22? Canada	Next batch of K1's waiting for interview in MTL	Just figured I'd actually post since I've been lurking for a few months My honey sent in his P3 (finally!) on July 22, and it was logged in around Aug. 5th... So we're now just playing the waiting game! I've been calling the DOS once a week just to see if they've scheduled the interview in Montreal yet, but no luck so far... I have a feeling I'll be learning a lot of patience these next couple months! He's hoping to be out here by end of October so hopefully Montreal kicks it up a notch Welcome! Canada	Medical Exam	yes I was in and out of seidans within 90 minutes. good doctor and stafff.. however I do want to know what everyone did with their chest xray I mean did you carry it normal or did you fold it? Mine is huge and I dont know how I am going to carry everything at the moment.The lady at seidens office handed it too me gave it too me slightly folded so it could fit in my bag. Canada	Starting to panic	Comon man ....You are panic , so what should i do ...die ?.....its been 9 months since my NOA1 and even got a RFE and LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG RFE and its taking me forever to collect it to send it back to them...and then i will be waiting for approval Inshallah and then NVC then to embassy then wait for interview then wait for visa. Be thankful man..you are lucky. Sam I just can't see how this statement is supposed to be inspirational or even positive for that matter? I mean we all have legitimate concerns here but this was just plain rude! If this is an attempt to be inspirational , i'd say it failed and should be kept to one's self. Canada	visa denied?	As for me, it's only been 4 business days since my interview , today being the 4th. We called DOS as well, but i don't think they even know to be honest. They were not even aware that we were scheduling our own interviews, so i don't put much value in what they say. The lady said we were in AP, but we said that we had the interview letter in our hands stating we had already been approved. So she changed her story and said to follow the instructions on the approval letter, which was to register with DHL, i've already done that. Again, as it's only been 4 business days for us ( we can't include friday in all fairness ), we won't start worrying until Monday of next week or possibly beyond that. I'm worried that since I had to get a new passport, that the one they are sending isn't the same number that I used to imput my file at the CSC website. It's not late yet, but I need to have it by friday so I can POE on the weekend! Thanks! If you mean DOS, call this number DOS is Department of State - 1 202 663 1225 Press Option 1 then Option 0 although i called just thursday of last week and they said nothing has been issued.
