PhilippinesFrom AP to Ready to Ready then back to AP

Normally after AP is cleared it goes to issued.

Thanks Hank_ :) im really praying for it to be issued right away coz the wedding is planned this February.

As Hank stated above,  usually after any issue(s) encountered during AP is cleared your visa should go to the "issued" stage.  Please keep in mind that AP usually take at least 30 days and can take up to 90 days.  Some people get cleared through the AP process in just days.  However, in my opinion, that is not the norm.  Just be patient.
Best of luck!

Yeah.. Thats what im worried about that it will take long for AP hopefully it will not take that long...
Thanks for the reply Carton025 :)

PhilippinesJanuary 2014 Interviews Thread!

I missed out on one of your questions. Hehehe so here is my answer:

There is a 2Go office right inside USEM, the truth is there are 2 or more submissions per day. Once our packets are ready, they are directly for "submission" to 2Go (remember window 67/68 at the US Embassy?)

--but all our packets leave USEM to go at 4:30pm no matter what time of day it was handed to them. By that time, they have already scanned and submitted all the details needed to get our info into the system.

By afternoon at 4:30pm, 2Go truck comes to pick it up from USEM branch to bring it to their warehouse for pick-up. As they do, they are being scanned again to confirm receipt--and when they do, our names are already automatically in their system like magic!

Once you get your tracking number, you can click the link for "scan details" and at the bottom of the page appears when your visa was given out to 2Go within the USEM and when it leaves USEM to their warehouse for sorting and delivery.

Good luck on the call!!! xxx Don't forget to update us asap!

My flight is on the 31st of January--exactly on the Chinese New Year--LUcky year of the Horse--this is the time everything is fast tracked--especially good luck!

Thank you RedPepper ;) Goodluck and Bon Voyage :)

Well i called them (at the extension for US visa and asked if my name is on their list for visa delivery as of date; they put me on hold for a few minutes and they told me that they have my name on the list. Gave me the tracking number so I can check if I can pick them up in the morning.

Sorry for call center schedule confusion! Really thought they were 24 hours. Anyway, you can call them tomorrow and check! Good luck!

Thanks again RedPepper :)

NoOtherWoman,
CnYforever,
and The Americans,

You know what was frustrating, was calling from a mobile phone and using up P1000+/- just following up from the USEM. So I found a secret.

If your status becomes ISSUED on the CEAC website, it takes about 2-3 to 7 working days for them to send out your visa with the packet. Now, how do you check where your visa is--I kept asking 2Go operators their usual routine with the USEM.

(1) Every weekdays, M-F at 4:30pm USEM sends out the visa to 2Go courier for delivery
(2) At around 5:30pm, your name should already be in their (2Go's) system if your visa is with them already that means it should be on its way to you. If not then maybe it would be sent out to them the next day, so best tume to follow up is at 5:30pm.
(3) If your visa is with them, ask for the tracking number from the operator so you can check it on their e-tracking website.
http://supplychain.2...trace/index.asp

Better to call 2Go at (+63) 2 7799222 to check. I thinks its a 24-hour customer service.

USEM on the orher hand has recently been unreachable. It's operations shoul be from 8am-8pm--but no use calling!

Don't know why they have been difficult to reach lately. It's like they know we are calling and are avoiding us to mess up with our minds!!! Lol

Update me, ok?! Good luck!

And oh!!!! Goody good news! As I edit this post, my name came out positive in 2Go's list of visas for delivery! Yhey!!! Mine's for pick-up tomorrow!!!! Yahoooo!

Wow! Very Well Explained and Very Informative RedPepper :) Thanks So Much!

"Ready" means the consul who reviewed your case after the interview has endorsed your case for visa issuance--at least that was what the operator told me. Because if they were in doubt or there were issues needing clearance, clarification, or additional documentation needed--it should have been "administrative processing" they placed there.

Looks like a COngratulations is on the way!!! Yay!!!

US Embassy Manila (+632) 301 2000
Then dial 7 for visa concerns,
Then 2 for immigrant visa concerns...(or the other way around! Lol)

if in doubt, you can listen to the automated voice response system for instructions to what extension number to key in:-)

I say our visas are about to be sent out to us this week! Good luck!

Thank you so much RedPepper :) i thought of it that way too. as per reading forums here and make my analyzation it seems like they made the decision to approved my visa and about to issue it ;)

Hi the Americans! Welcome to this thread! I have Ready recently on my CEAC website status. That's when 2 things:
1) for interview

2) the visa consul has approved the visa, pending printing and releasing of passports with visas.

Seems to me, your visa status will go "Issued" soon! The operator told me visas are scheduled or printing Wednesday and Thursday this week--that includes my visa! Yey! Hope your worries doesn't happen and be all smooth! Good luck to all if us!

If it were "Administrative Processing" on their website that's when she's going through Administrative Processing.
Ready--could also mean, Approved, but pending visa Printing. Seems to me, your fiance's visa will be sent out soon!

Hi RedPepper.
My Visa StatuS in "Ready Status" which said check back after two days. i had my interview last Jan.15. The american consul told me she cant decide yet that day coz she might have found something from my fiance's background about something to do with criminal case which i answered her my fiance dont have any. and as per asking my fiance he told me his record is clean.
checking Jan.16 is under "AP" checked back Jan.17 its "Ready" already. comes weekend and Martun Luther Monday so maybe the two business days update started yesterday.
what you think about my case?

Hi Everyone!

My husband is an American Citizen (I'm Canadian).  Our petition was accepted on September 30, 2013.  We have heard NOTHING back from NBC.

It's been 5 months cray5ol.gif

Any news as to when we can see any progress?

Not sure those dates at the bottom of the timeline are accurate. Mine is way off......

Hi Kate52!

Yes i'm not putting TOO much weight into those dates because really nobody knows.  So what part of Canada are you in??

I'm a January 2013 filer STILL waiting for NOA2.  You will learn some semblance of patience (or perhaps it's insanity) from this process.

Good luck.

Oh No REALLY??? that's BRUTAL!  I would be pulling my hair out!!! How can that be when they are supposed to be processing July ones right now??

If you guys notice, go to your timelines, and at the bottom there is an approximate VJ date of when you should hear something.  Remember to keep your timelines updated (change the service center if it changes and make sure your consulate/embassy is correct as well)

Ooooo I never noticed that! Thanks! That info SUCKS lol but at least we can possibly have an idea!

I am too in the same boat.  We filed our petition and had it accepted for processing on Sept 3, 1013 and we have heard NOTHING.  I too share the same anxieties that I've missed something or that this is going to take forever!  I am sad for a friend of mine filed a fiance's visa after me and she is already processed.  If i would have known that we could have waited to get married :(

How do i go about searching for the September 2013 filers as mentioned above?

This is what our RFE said:

All it said was:

"Submit a legible copy (those words are underlined) of the marriage certificate for Paul Mantikoski and Jacqueline Brabant. The certificate must indicate that after the marriage ceremony, it was registered or recorded by the county, state or province."

"The marriage certificate submitted does not show evidence of being civilly registered with the county clerk. The document must show the page and book numbers in which the event was recorded."

We had not gotten a verified copy of our marriage certificate ... Can't believe we did that the one we got was the one right after we were married lol

My hubby will go Monday to get it! Easy thing to get! Hope all RFE's are just as easy!!

Awesome, thanks! One of the admins from the other sheet did it and I guess it didn't go over well lol
I don't see any issue, but I didn't want to be a toe-stepper.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsSeptember 2013 I-130 Filers

My life is officially a soap opera.

Yesterday, I received my NOA2, which gave me a choice; AOS or consular processing. We decided to go for AOS because that way we could at least enjoy the Florida sunshine while we are waiting. The NOA2 gave details of which forms to fill in, depending on which route we want to take.

Today, I received my 9,233rd email from USCIS, and it says:

------------

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On March 14, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

-------

So in effect, we no longer have a choice, because they've sent the petition to the NVC anyway.

British and commonwealth users of this forum may well know the phrase about, um, organising a social event inside a brewery. The phrase applies to USCIS. Just saying.

Are you on Facebook?  If so you should join our September crew!  It's fun! :)

Received an email for RFE earlier today... Not sure what they could possibly want, I put everything and more in the initial I-130 packet, but I guess it's just a waiting game until hubby gets the hard copy, which they supposedly mailed yesterday.

You're in the same boat as me... the wait and see game AGAIN.... sigh.

We did the same thing with our initial packet.  I'm at a complete loss as to what they want!

I believe interviews are mandatory for all beneficiaries. Some countries require the petitioner to be present, some countries 'recommend' the petitioner to be present and some say the petitioner cannot attend.

Given that you're in Canada, I can't imagine the petitioner needing to be present at the interview. Says the girl who really has no idea how Canada works smile.png

I'm not sure how Canada works either LOL

I'm sure i'll find out :)

I hope it's just that! If you check in the earlier I-130 Filers threads, there may be someone who was issued an RFE and was able to speak with a Tier 2 before receiving the hardcopy....

If your husband doesn't receive the hardcopy within 2 weeks (he's the petitioner, right?) I would have him call and speak with a Tier 2 to let them know you still haven't received your RFE notice - you might be able to schedule an InfoPass at that point, too. Just to find out what the hell they need.

I don't want to scare you, but there's been cases when people had their I-130 denied because they didn't 'respond to the RFE in time' when in fact they did not receive it in the first place! You get 84 days to respond to your RFE, too. Weird number, I know.

Good to know... thanks for the heads up!

If we don't receive the RFE notice by monday (last time our notice came on the Friday after we received the email) we will contact USCIS and try and find out what's happening.

Wheezy, edit the receipt number. You shouldn't be posting it online.

Thanks Blueberry!  Done!

Yes, we both needed a second page for additional information.  They are saying it's additional and not initial so I'm not sure if they need that for that was part of the initial package... i'm confused.  Just gotta wait until we get the notice I guess.

You have every right to be upset right now - I would be a complete wreck (major points to you for even being able to type right now!)!

It's ridiculous to have a third party, a government agency, issue a statement that essentially says "you didn't give us enough proof of your marriage, so we're going to need you to jump through more hoops".

Although it's probably more like "ummm, like, when we sent your petition packet to California, we like, asked our intern to put it in the envelope and stuff, and like, he totally dropped it in a mud puddle outside the office so like, ALL your paperwork got wet! And we like, didn't want to send it to California all wet and soggy, so we like, threw it in the garbage. Soooo, could you, like, send it again? Kthanks lolz!"

Do you know if anyone in other threads had success with Tier 2 agents in finding out what the RFE is for before you receive the notice in the mail (it could save you a couple days)? smile.png

Thanks... that made me smile smile.png

I do know that my hubby forgot to sign the second page of his G-325.  I hope that that is all that is required!

I'm a complete novice when it comes to these kinds of forums and threads.  Where would I even look for something like that?  It's hard to say what exactly they are missing...

Oh, sweetie... *HUGS*

Let's brainstorm what could it be? Does the update say "initial evidence" or "additional evidence"? There is a difference although I don't remember what it was right now...

The notice will explain where to send the evidence and will give the deadline for your response. Your application or petition will be held in suspense during that time. If you receive a request for evidence and have questions about what you need to submit, you may call our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283
