Wow, this is true. I just checked my $ sign number and it was in deed showing that my application was scheduled for interview 7 days before the other number showed. But when you input the $ sign number, use * instead of the $ or it will show as invalid.

Well, our case needs supervisor review so thats why it may be taking longer. I would contact them if I were you, it is NOT usual to wait for over a month for oath in Chicago as they schedule oath ceremonies a few times a week. Good luck!


 

So, I gave a call to the central USCIS office... no dice. They said, they reserve 120 days to complete N-400 application, since the interview moment (which I knew), and if in 90 days it still was no word, they start to accept requests. For us it translates into "wait until March 18th, then, if still nothing, make a request".

We had interview on 12/02 , IO said 2-3 weeks for supervisor review.. we still haven't heard from them. Chicago office was going so fast , what the heck happened with them now??? Our status is showing testing and interview still, too. Hopefully, they start moving soon!!

Today was exactly month since my wife passed interview in Chicago office and was recommended for approval... still - no word from USCIS. The status online is still at the Testing and Interview mark, and shows that case was last updated on November 13, when my wife was scheduled for interview. No sure what to do now... is it time to call or fill out E-Request yet? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So, you are saying it was staying in "Testing and Interview" for 3 weeks, and than immediately jumped into the "Oath Ceremony", passing both "Decision" and "Post Decision Activity"?

 

I asked this question before. that sometimes delays or maybe never is updated. Don't worry. In my case, I had to wait 3 weeks after the interview and then it went straight from testing and interview to oath ceremony. So, I guess if you're are waiting for a few weeks then they're probably in process of scheduling you for the oath not putting you in the line which is good. Again that's just my guess.

Hope, all have had good holidays. Now, question to you, guys. Does anybody knows how long, on average, it takes to get to "in line for oath" status after successfully passed interview? Our interview was on 12/18, and there is still nothing. I'm starting to grow a little bit worried, to be honest.

Approved ! :) The wait was sort of long (about an hour, hour and fifteen minutes), but the interview itself was very quick and easy. It hardly last 15 minutes. No questions from N-400, except all those for which answer is "No", 6 easy history questions (really easy, no dates or names, just some commonly known stuff, like who is in command of US Army, or why first colonists came to America), and finally read and write (the California is the most populated state sentence, which I believe, somebody is listed here already. Seems like it is very popular among interviewers. :) ). The only weird part is, interviewer asked my wife what was the cause of death of my wife's first husband... That was really strange, maybe he was concerned with my life :))) But I suspect that the real reason is that certificate of death issued in Russia doesn't include cause of death, and US one, probably, do. At any rate, the interview is passed successfully and my wife was told, she should expect oath to be scheduled in one month or so. Oh and yes, from all the long list of documents, we brought, my wife was asked to present only two: taxes for the last year and copy of the death certificate of my wife's first husband.

Zvao sam ja pre nekoliko dana, medjutim oni su mi samo rekli da mi je slucaj na PENDING.

Zdravo svima, imam jedno pitanje.

 

Pre vise od 2 meseca moja supruga i ja smo otisli na prvi green card interview. Nazalost, moja supruga je zaboravila da ponese sa sobom nesto od dokumenata, i immigration officer je rekao da mora da rescheduled nas inteview. Mi jos uvek nismo dobili new appointment letter iako je proslo vise od 2 meseca. Imate li neki savet?
