I was in the US when Package 4 arrived in my mailbox back in the Netherlands, friends of mine scanned and emailed the package.

I was given an interview date that did not work for us so I called the Consulate in Amsterdam and they were very nice to reschedule my date.:dance:

That still makes it necesary to be in Amsterdam to go to your interview :yes:

Hello when I look at your package I think you shoul be fine It looks Complete, also think about previous marriages(divorse papers) point 12, 13 and 14 in I-129F guide.

If the previous marriage of the US Citizen and/or foreign fiance(e) ended due to the death of their spouse then include a Copy of Death Certificate(s) documenting that fact.

13.Proof of Legal Name Change if either the US Citizen and/or foreign fiance(e) is using a name other than that shown on the relevant documents. You must give USCIS copies of the legal documents that made the change, such as a marriage certificate, adoption decree or court order.

14.In regards to Section C Question 2, if applicable provide certified copies of all court and police records showing the charges and dispositions for any specified conviction(s) (in accordance with the IMBRA). See section 9 of the I-129f instructions for more information.

4.Declaration of how you met in person in the last two years. This should be a single typed page attachment regarding question 18 of the I-129F. Make sure to sign and date it.

All the other form are for the next step in your proces, the interview at the consulate so don't worry about it B-)

I did not use any of our Skype records in our I-129F and interview.
Just the boardingpasses of all of our trips, emails, photos(in a word document), receipts and any document that stated that we did trips together.

But frontloading the I-129Fwith information is smart because the more info they have the less questions they might ask!!!!!

We did not use any folders or did not staple or punch holes through the paper, we stacked everything in order of the Cover Letter and put it in a envelope.

We put the Cover Letter on the outside of the envelope and we put this package in the USPS envelope to send to the Lockbox.

If you have the photos on your computer you maybe can put them in a word document(2 photos on each page) and write a line under it stating the date, who and where. This is how I presented my photos on 6 pages and they were accepted.

As soon as you receive your passport, with the visa stamped, please read it carefully and look for:

  • Any type of error. Make sure all your information is correct.
  • Visa expiration date. You'll have to enter the States before that expiration date and get married in 90 days (counting from the day that you'll set foot in US soil)

Like photomile said, they are typically issued for 6 months; but there have been cases in which the expiration date was 3 .. so be very careful and read your stamp Posted Image

If you want your fiance to have a clue at what the CO is looking at and have a smooth interview, you will provide a copy to your fiance so they are aware of the documentation. Other people question this as well although I don't know why. Do you want your fiance to be prepared for any questions that might arise from the CO in regard to the contents of your petition package? This is what you need to be asking yourself. It isn't a short cut worth taking IMO. I would hate to go to an interview unprepared, wouldn't you?
