Found this online.. http://www.hooyou.com/k-1/faq.html     How long is the I-129F valid for?  A. The Form I-129F approval is valid for four months from the date the petition is approved by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). During this four month period, the engaged couple should try to secure plane tickets and the necessary travel documents for the foreign fiancé/fiancée?s entry into the United States. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Case # & Medical Issue Question	A few hours ago we called NVC and now we have our case number so what do we need to do next?     Do we have to wait for NVC to email us that they forwarded it to the embassy?     Or can I (the beneficiary) go ahead and start filling out the DS-160 and check out the possible interview appointment dates and medical appointment dates? I just want a confirmation from those who have been through this before because I think I've read somewhere that they already scheduled their medical after getting the NVC number.  But I've also read that you need the letter before you can have your medical? The whole K1 process is just so overwhelming that any advice would be greatly appreciated.   About the medical examination... I have infrequent menstrual periods (Oligomenorrhea), will that be an issue during the medical examination and visa interview? Will they question if I am able to bear children or not? I have been stressing and thinking a lot and having sleepless nights because of this problem.  I am worried because I know they ask during the medical examination the date of the last menstruation.  Has anyone had this similar issue or know someone who had?   Hi, in my case as the petitioner, neither I nor my fiance received an email from NVC about updates of our case and if you will email them, it will take you forever to receive a reply. Now that you have your case or MNL#, you can go ahead and pay your visa application then do the medical with your visa interview appointment confirmation on hand. Philippines	DS forms	We "scheduled" our interview in Aug for the actual interview to take place on Oct 22nd. So that I am not confused I am going to do the DS-156, DS-156K, DS-230 and the I-134 because we "scheduled" prior to Oct 7. Right? You are right. I am just curious-to everyone who have already went and set their K-1 interview online, what was the earliest date that you found? I am wondering if there will still be an open spot for early or even mid-December. Philippines	CSC Oct K1-NOA2s	Well if you are talking Duluth then you need to take in Grandma's for lunch, also a drive up the north shore to see Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls... and for sure a stop at Betty's Pies... for ... pie of course!!   When you drive up, go up Wisconsin 35 (state road) as it is very scenic, then at Superior you cross the bridge into Duluth.     On the way home jump on I-35 for a speed run back to the cities.   Oh no.. Hank, another bump on the road.. I called DOS and gave me an incomplete MNL number. As soon as my parents got their retirement last June, they booked right away back to Manila and now enjoying every moment of their life living in Tagaytay!   I still have 26 years to live and work here and enjoy winter with my husband to be! hehe.. Philippines	preparing for medical exam at st.luke's	Hi fellow vjers My fiance and i are planning to do my medical exam on the 27th of nov. and i im preparing all the paper's i need to do the exam...i have here my 1.bio page of my passport. 2.online registration for us visa(St.Luke's Medical Center) 3.appointment confirmation and also had an x-ray last july 2013 do i need to bring it with me? and im still waiting for nvc letter with the case number for my fiance to email me. is there something that i forget? can u tell me ?thank you in advance and have a great day and good night.   I know you're not forgetting the passport, right? Please make sure to bring 2 copies of the online SLEC registration. If you will tell them you have previous x-ray taken, they might ask it.
