K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I-129F December Filers?	Today is 5 months from our NOA1. Just called USCIS help desk to inquire about a 'outside the normal processing time' request, they said for VSC they are processing at 5 months, but are processing date 12/4/11. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up...looks like it could be another 2 weeks before we hear anything (assuming 5 months is really 5 months) Calling my congressman now to see if they can help. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Getting a TOURIST visa while waiting on our K1	Hello everyone, I am from Albania and my fiance is the american citizen and we have applied for a K1 on December. i have been to the states 3 other times on a J1 visa, just for the summer and on my last trip to SD this is where we met. i came home and applied for a K1, it was really taking a long time so I decided to go for a visit on March, with my previous experience in the states, being 3 times already and having always been correct we really thought i would get the visa for a 2 month visit, but unfortunately it didnt happen so... I just wanted to share my experience w you so here it is...The consular calls my name and asks me about my experience on a J1 work and travel, i reply. then he says why would you like to go there and then i reply for a brief visit to my fiance, and then is this someone you met while you were there? i said yes, and then he looked at me and told me hes sorry but i do not qualify for a visitor visa BUT go home and wait on your K1 he said, i was so heartbroken and before i left he said COngratulations and i smiled and i said thanks. So what ive realised is that they dont really issue visas while you have a pending application, because even another guy had the same situation or kinda the same, he had his wife and kids in the states for 9 YEARS now, and hes waiting for his spouse visa and they denied him too...It's fine for us, cause the NOA 2 wont take long but it still hurts to be DENIED!!! oh well, we will just live with it! good luck to all of you!	pat & angela	Female	Albania	2012-03-25 03:31:00

I applied for a flusher visa while Im still waiting for my k1 and I was denied of course.Elbe though I've been in the states before and had a previous history and always came back home, itneedle more than just that. The k1 visa is an immigrant visa so it's hard showing them your intention of coming back home. I have a question though, when I will fill my documents for the interview i DO have to state that I was denied right? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Please HELP	hello everyone, I had a question please. As I am still waiting for my noa2 i have been worried about filling the DS. I have been before in the states, and in the DS they ask have you ever been in the states before, where, when and etc etc. Now they also ask if i ever been denied, which i applied for a tourist visa this march to go and visit my fiance while we had applied for the K1 and they knew that i was waiting for the noa2, now the question is i will HAVE to mention that i was once denied right? i mean i know that but do you guys think it will be an issue? because i applied for a B2 in the first place just to go and visit him but the consul said go home and wait for your K1. After getting approved then the file is at NVC, from there what do i do? I call them? I get the number than what do i do with it? Well, cause they say every embassy is different and there arent a lot of people from Albania applying for a k1 so i need help.... Its been 17 business days today and my fiance called them yesterday but they said no idea so far about our case...i emailed them a copy of our NOA2 and now waiting for them to reply...If anyone can help please...Also do i schedule the appointment? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Safest way to send documents for interview?	My fiance sent the original documents via Fed Ex from South Dakota to Albania, and they arrived safe and sound... Now if you talk about the fees, they are ridiculous, 218$ for 20 pages?! These you bring to the interview. You do send in DS230 with packet 3 in China. Maybe Albania is different? So I'm preparing my packet 3, and it's 12 am in here and I got the email today at 4pm sooo I'm a little tired from all this hours of planning and reading over and over, if someone can help, Ill appreciate it. Here's what I have ready to send: DS 230 signed and dated, DS 156, DS 156K, From my petitioner: I-134, photocopy of passport and his original birth certificate, tax return of year 2009 up to 2011, recently and original job letter stating his salary and full time and his position, some pay stubs from the last 3 months, his certificate of release from active duty, his VA benefit letter, his letter of intent to marry me, signed and dated this month. That's all from his side. Then I have my birth certificate, my photocopy of passport, court records, district and attourney records, all of these translated and certified. 1 photo within the requirements, then I have a question about the evidence of relationship should I send it now, like our photos and skype and text messages ??? Or at the time at interview? Also I felt free to erase some intimate lines from our skype logs and our text messages, really felt embarrassed haha. So do I have it all? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	General K1 Guides and Info	I have a question and I'm not sure where to post this so I do sincerely apologize if it was posted incorrectly. At any rate, I have submitted an I-129F petition for my fiancee overseas in Southeast Asia. Now I am worried that my past may significantly impact my petition in having it possibly denied. I made some very poor choices about 2-3 years ago. Sadly, I am ashamed to admit that I have 2 DUI's and a careless driving misdemeanor on my criminal record. I've gotten counseling and completed alcohol classes to reinstate my driving privileges. On the application, I marked "no" to the question of whether there were 3 incidents relating to drugs or alcohol because technically the careless driving misdemeanor was not a DUI. Therefore my personal interpretation was that I only had 2. I also did not submit any written statements or certified court/police reports of the three incidents. I've consulted an immigration attorney and was advised that I should have admitted and submitted the documents with the petition. I wanted to get someone's opinion who's been in a similar situation as I am with this K-1 process. With this said, will my petition be denied? This is something I am especially not proud of and I have not drank at all ever since 2010. I know that some members may criticize me and insult me; I deserve it, but please try to help answer my question to give me some peace of mind. My fiancee knows about these incidents and she understands that those were very wrongful mistakes. She loves me dearly and is willing to look past that, to accept that I am a changed person for the better. She is prepared for the immigration interview if the CO asks her about it. Thank you in advance for all of your advices. You should never let anyone talk down at you! We are who we are cause of our mistakes.
