If you get married in Canada especially Montreal she will not get your last name.

I would do option 2.

I even think they process k1 faster.

Yeah they should require a test to be able to post advice Lol.

Lol Yep judging by that article he tried to play the "Do you know who I am" card and they didn't. I was crossing through the Windsor Tunnel once and saw a drunk kid walking around looking into cars trying to find where his friends were. He was surrounded by 10 or so guards and was taken away so quickly, you just don't get out of your car like that. This guy is an idiot if 50% of that story is true haha.

I was so disappointed, I wanted to pick up an extra gift for my wife, a Nintendo DS, but that stupid thing is almost as much as an Xbox 360 or Wii now. I think I'll just buy her a game for our Wii today on my way home from work, major bummer, she would've loved rocking out some Sudoko on that bad boy lol.

This is all without getting anything from my wife yet, although I'm hoping for a signed Joe Sakic stick or jersey smile.gif

It wasn't bad. I went alone, which is the way to do it. You go in with your game plan, don't wander around, in and out. It was easy, just a longer line but I had less than 7 items so it was express in and out for me.

I was in at 5:30 and out by 6:00. I think if I do it next year, I'd show up earlier. It's weird being out that early in the morning and seeing people up and about. The savings made it worth it though. I didn't think it would be as crowded as it was, but the crowds were fairly calm. I didn't think the savings would matter, but thats money I can spend on... MORE PRESENTS! biggrin.gif Haha!

My wife is doing this right now and has been texting me every 30 minutes so I can feel safe in knowing she hasn't been trampled. I begged her not to go near a Walmart until later but luckily she heavily dislikes that store as well so she didn't go. It seems every year those nutbars end up killing someone trying to get to the back of the store lol.

It's a brand new day for NJ today.

My husband didn't go out to vote yesterday and that kind of peeved me off. It's the biggest right you have as a citizen. Why not exercise it?

He works in Philly though so I really don't think he cares. Whereas I have to work and live here.

Some people are like: Why Christie?

Simple: NJ is tired of being taxed up the rear. I have never had so much money taken from my pay cheques.. EVER. People say I was taxed high in Canada, well at least I didn't have to pay out of pocket to get on the highway or pay to see my doctor. Also NJ taxes is just another reason I refuse to buy a house in this state.

Hmm this is a borderline vent but I'll still keep it here. wink.gif

Lol Here's something I wondered if anyone else cared about smile.gif

I've voted in every election that has happened since I turned 18 but for some reason I don't have one friend that ever did. I used to joke and call them Communists and stuff hehe, but then they all finally went out and voted for Obama. I remember asking them why they voted and they pretty much just said it was because he was so popular and the campaign was targeted towards younger people. It was hilarious to me that people could be so nonchalant about voting Lol. Not one person I knew that voted for the first time had any idea of any of his policies or anything, they just said he seemed like a cool guy. I suppose that's the same thing that happened in Detroit yesterday as they just voted for a retired basketball player to be the mayor Hahaha.

I've always wanted to own a home. There's something about renting... not sure if it was something ingrained in me as a child, but I've always been adverse to leasing anything - car, home, whatever. I'd rather make regular payments towards something that is mine, even in that means driving in a lesser car than I could've rented, or a smaller home than I could've made rental payments on.

It'll probably be awhile until we're in any position to buy ourselves a home, however small, but it's definitely something I look forward to.

Yep I'm totally the same way except for the car area. I've bought cars in the past and had so many lemons that I just decided to lease for a while until we have kids. That way I keep getting new cars that won't have any trouble that's not covered until I'm ready to go into mini-van mode and just buy one Lol.

ADVICE NEEDED
Anyway, a friend at my husband's work found this 1 year old poodle (important because I cannot have a dog that sheds) they took him to the humane society, tried to find it's owner. It has no microchip, no missing dogs were reported that matches this description. The HS wouldn't take the dog in, as they are overwhelmed with dogs and unforunately putting some to sleep.

What would YOU do?!

If I was already planning on having a dog eventually I'd definitely save the lil guy, except for the problem that I'm a dude and it's a poodle haha smile.gif

I say go for it, only have a few months to go and how many times can you get caught really? Only have to use the dog-sitting excuse the one time you get caught, otherwise just go Mission: Impossible style and hide the lil guy smile.gif
