I vaguely remember my ped. having a "sick" section and a "well" section of the waiting room when I was a kid. They were seperated by a half wall - don't know if that actually heped or not. Take tons of parenting classes --together, if you can. Read lots of books. I personally loved the book....What to expect when you are expecting and the next one after that, what to expect the 1st year and the toddler one. Those books helped me with soooo many questions.

As for the books, yes I have that one and others. Another good one is "The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy". I also read "Pregnancy Sucks" and both of Jenny McCarthy's books, "Belly Laughs" and "Baby Laughs". Lots of fun.

I've done mystery shopping before. I never actually did any stores - they were always restaurants. Basically I would get instructions on what to look for while I was there and sometimes had to order something specific. The problem I had is that I had to pay for the meal and then after I did the paperwork and sent in the receipt, they would reimburse me. It took a looooong time to get my reimbursement check. Even though I had the info. sent to them within 48 hours, I would have to wait weeks for my check. One time, it took a few months. It's really not a very good way to make money. I was disappointed.

I tried out a 'new' Jamaican restaurant that I found online. I surprised Tony with some curry goat and I had curry shrimp. It was so yummy wink.gif They even gave us a few pieces of fried plantain with it in addition to rice-n-peas for me and dumpling & banana for Tony. I wish it were closer - it's about 20-25 minutes drive from us - but it was really good. I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it!!
